Abstract: A cutter assembly suitable for cutting BOPP adhesive tape and a tape dispenser incorporating the same. The cutter assembly has a row of plastic teeth where each tooth includes left and right front and rear faces, each face being disposed on a different plane, and where the planes intersect each other at the tip of the tooth. A front edge extends between the left and right front faces; a rear edge extends between the left and right rear faces; a left side edge extends between the right front and rear faces; and a right side edge extends between the left front face and the right rear face. The various edges are set at particular angles relative to each other. A protrusion for supporting the tape is provided rearwardly of the teeth and a braking mechanism is also provided on the dispenser.
Abstract: A method for operating a data processing system to generate a full color image from a partially sampled version of the image. The full color image includes a first two-dimensional array of vectors having components representing the intensity of a pixel in the full color image in a corresponding spectral band at a location determined by the location of the vector in the first two-dimensional array. The method generates the first two-dimensional array from a two-dimensional array of scalars. Each scalar determines one of the first, second, or third intensity values at a corresponding location in the two-dimensional array of vectors. The method determines the remaining ones of the first, second, and third intensity values. The method starts by assigning a value to each one of the components of the vectors in the first two-dimensional array of vectors that is not determined by one of the scalars.

Abstract: A handle member mounts a first blade member therewithin, with the first blade member including a forward shank portion to include a serrated blade edge spaced from and parallel a rear blade edge. A pivotally mounted stripper blade is in contiguous and pivotal relationship relative to a top surface of the first blade member to capture a ribbon web therebetween from a ribbon spool to effect stripping of the web from the spool simultaneously, with effecting a curling of the web directed between the stripper blade and the serrated blade edge.

Abstract: In order to produce a fancy yarn with protuberances along its length in a simple manner, and without adding either a binding yarn or an effect yarn, a multi-filament yarn of continuous filaments is forwarded by a positive drive means and twisted and taken up by a spindle. When engaged with a surface of the drive means the yarn is engaged by an edge which brakes some of the filaments.
