The integrated HEV control system permits operation of only the second motor/generator as the propelling power source to establish a motor propelled vehicle driving mode and simultaneously basically inhibits operation of the engine, when satisfying at least a condition that the engine misfire occurs. If a power generation requirement or a battery recharge requirement is present during the misfire period, operation of the engine is temporarily permitted for driving the first motor/generator only for a battery recharge.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for automatically adjusting the output of presentation content based upon vehicle conditions. The method determines whether one of a plurality of vehicle conditions exists, such as conditions related to vehicle speed, rate of change in vehicle speed, rate of change in vehicle direction, vehicle emergencies, cellular phone or headphone activation, radar detector activation, noise level decibels above a certain value, etc. The method determines an output format based on the determined vehicle conditions. The method outputs at least a portion of the presentation content based on the determined output format. The determined output format includes display format information, such as text font or icon size information or map detail. The presentation content can also include audio content.

Abstract: A connector includes a connector body, a post member, and a fastener member. In one embodiment, the connector provides for coupling a coaxial cable having a center conductor, an insulator core, an outer conductor, and a sheath to a terminal device. A nut coupled to either the connector body or post member can be used on the connector to make the connection to the device. The post member has a cavity that accepts the center conductor and insulator core of a coaxial cable. An outer cavity is formed by the connector body and the post member such that the outer conductor and the sheath of a coaxial cable are positioned therebetween. The fastener member, in a pre-installed first configuration is movably fastened onto the connector body. The fastener member can be moved toward the nut into a second configuration in which the fastener member coacts with the connector body so that the connector sealingly grips the coaxial cable.

The rear end of the fixing rod is connected with the front-end portion of a frame of a light bicycle, and the front end thereof is inserted by a control handle pivotally connected with the upper and lower turntables. The upper and lower turntables are pivotally connected with the two auxiliary rods. One end of the auxiliary rods is pivotally connected with one end of the link. The other end of the link is pivotally connected with a front fork portion of the light bicycle. The upper and lower turntables, the two auxiliary rods, and the link can facilitate direction control and ride of the light bicycle. Moreover, the volume of the light bicycle can be shrunk, hence achieving convenience in use and storage.

Abstract: A navigation system includes a driver presence sensor and engine running detection circuitry. When the detection circuitry determines that the engine of the vehicle is not running, the navigation system enters a low power mode. When the presence of the driver is detected, the navigation system begins power up, switching from a low power to a full power operational mode. If the detection circuitry does not determine that the engine is running within a predetermined time period, the navigation system reenters the low power mode. The detection circuitry monitors the vehicle's electrical system and determines that the engine is running when an AC content exceeds a predetermined threshold.
