Patent number: 7530579Abstract: A handtruck includes a tower having upper and lower ends and a handle adjacent the tower upper end. A support plate is generally adjacent the tower lower end and extends outwardly, the support plate configured to support a load. At least one wheel is operatively coupled to the tower or support plate. The handtruck includes an ejection member for moving the load from the support plate. The ejection member includes an elongate lever having upper and lower ends and being pivotally coupled to the tower. The ejection member includes a pushplate pivotally coupled to the lever and is movable between a rest configuration when the elongate lever upper end is relatively adjacent the tower and an offload configuration when the elongate lever upper end is relatively distant to the tower. A distal end of the pushplate is in slidable contact with the pushplate when moving between rest and offload configurations.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2007Date of Patent: May 12, 2009Inventor: Steven J. Patent number: 7431313Abstract: A portable tool storage apparatus for use by individuals to have both tool storage capabilities and easy mobility to move tools to various locations as needed. The apparatus is fabricated from a circular bucket that has two concentric straps attached to the exterior surface of the bucket. Each of the straps has several pouches attached to it, with the pouches designed to store tools, nails, fasteners, or related objects. An organizer tray attached to the bucket for storing screws and bolts and similar items is also provided. The apparatus also has an axle located on the bottom surface of the bucket and a pair of wheels attached to the axle. A telescoping handle is attached to the apparatus, allowing an individual to easily move the apparatus from location to location.Type: GrantFiled: May 23, 2006Date of Patent: October 7, 2008Inventors: Jose Torres, Sonia Torres

Patent number: 7316407Abstract: A combination rolling transport and fold-up seat has a detachable carry bag of waterproof, reinforced fabric, detachable snap-on wheels, and collapsible frame. The frame has a stabilizing element that allows it to stand upright and support either items on the load-bearing transport side or a person seated in the fold-up seat. A carry bag back mounting sheet forms a tube slipped over the main frame member to support the carry bag and act as a back rest for the seat. Pop-off wheels enable the flat folded up frame members to fit into a minimal storage space.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2007Date of Patent: January 8, 2008Inventor: Richard Elden

Patent number: 7207583Abstract: A spacer apparatus for insulating a beam bushing assembly of an axle/suspension system from direct metal-to-metal contact with the vehicle frame hanger on which the assembly is pivotally mounted. In one embodiment, an integrally-formed one-piece apparatus includes a spacer disk portion and collar portions, whereby the collars provide a complementary fit of the spacer apparatus on the bushing assembly mounting tube, and generally prevents or minimizes relative movement between the spacer disk and bushing assembly. In other embodiments, one or more load dissipation structures mounted on or forming a part of the beam and/or its bushing assembly prevent substantially non-planar surfaces of the assembly from contacting a spacer disk by increasing the bearing area of those surfaces which contact the disk. These apparatus generally eliminate excessive wear or damage to the spacer disk and possible resulting damage to the axle/suspension system.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2002Date of Patent: April 24, 2007Assignee: Hendrickson USA, L.L.C.Inventors: Joseph M. Ross, Phillippi R. Pierce, John E. Ramsey, Warren M. Schneider

Patent number: 7182354Abstract: A non-torque reactive air suspension exhibiting excellent roll stability characteristics is shown to include frame hangers mounted to frame rails extending longitudinally on opposite sides of a vehicle. Longitudinally extending beams are connected to the frame hangers at one end and extend parallel to the frame rails. At their other ends, the beams are joined by a crossbrace extending laterally across the vehicle centerline. In a central portion thereof, the beams have an axle pivot bore to which an axle clamp assembly is connected, the axle clamp assembly clamping a drive axle housing for the vehicle. The axle pivot bore is generally aligned with the drive axle. A control rod assembly is connected to suspension or frame components. Together with the beams, the control rod assembly forms a parallelogram configuration wherein the beams form the lower linkages of that configuration and the control rods included within the control rod assembly form the upper linkages of that configuration.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2005Date of Patent: February 27, 2007Assignee: Hendrickson USA, L.L.C.Inventor: Ashley Thomas Dudding
