Abstract: A system for exchange and reconditioning of winding or rewinding multi-components shafts associated with a web handling device comprising an omni-directional mobile cart having a plurality of subassemblies thereon for receiving, storing and transfer of one or more clean and/or to-be-reconditioned shafts between the web handling device and a maintenance station wherein a shaft is mounted in similar manner to the mounting of the shaft on the web handling device for disassembly, cleaning, repairing reassembly and storage of the clean shaft on the cart in anticipation for subsequent exchange of such clean shaft for a to-be-reconditioned shaft mounted on the web handling device. In the system, the removal of the to-be-reconditioned shaft from the web handling device, storage of this shaft on the cart and installation of a clean shaft previously stored on the cart are all performed without modification or material repositioning of the cart from its initially established position relative to the web handling device.

Abstract: A collapsible stand includes a platform for supporting a machine, two first legs each having a top end pivotally connected to the platform, two second legs each of which is pivotally connected to each first leg and has a top part slidably inserted through a sleeve of the platform, at least one springy or biasing member and a locking device. The springy or biasing member is retained in a sleeve-like or coaxial manner on retained in a sleeve-like manner one of the second legs. The locking device is connected to the platform for fixing the second legs in position after spreading the stand open such that the first legs and second legs support the platform at a predetermined height.

Abstract: A medical equipment transport system for supporting medical equipment while a patient is transported. The system comprises an equipment rack, such as an IV stand. While in the hospital room, the rack is mounted on a bracket supported on a mobile tower. When the patient is moved, the rack is transferred to a similar bracket on the bed. Transfer of the rack between bed and tower brackets is accomplished using a lift mechanism in the tower. The lift mechanism includes a bogie stabilized by radially-arranged bearings, enabling the tower to accept omni directional loading and moment forces. The rack is supported on each of the brackets by two vertically-aligned conical pins nested in tapered bushings, providing additional stability. A self-locking, self-releasing latch assembly prevents inadvertent dislocation of the rack. A customized adapter enables attachment of the bracket to any model bed without structurally altering it, simplifying installation and preserving warranties.

Abstract: A system and method for stocking and/or restocking shelves. The system includes a support member and a top platform coupled to the support member. The top platform is configured to receive at least one of a container of product and individual items to be at least one of stocked and restocked. The system includes a base portion coupled to the support member, wherein the base portion is configured to facilitate positioning the system relative to a shelf to be at least one of stocked or restocked. A height of the top platform is configured to be adjusted to a user-selected height and fixed at the user-selected height prior to receiving the at least one of the container of product and the individual items.

Abstract: A collapsible trailer and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the collapsible trailer includes a jointed lattice-work frame of scissor linkages which in the expanded position provide an open enclosure for transporting the load. Two orthogonally positioned collapsible crossbars span the open enclosure and releasably engage the lattice-work frame. A meshed netting is superposed to the collapsible crossbars and releasably coupled to the lattice-work frame. The collapsible trailer may be configured in a collapsed position for easy storage when not in use by removing the meshed netting, releasing the collapsible crossbars, and slidably collapsing the collapsible crossbars lengthwise and width wise in an accordion fashion.

Abstract: A mobile saw stand brake system incorporates a pair of swing-out legs pivotally connected to a saw stand main frame. A first end of the main frame is supported on a pair of rotating wheels. A pair of brake lever arms, each having a brake shoe end and a distal actuating end, are pivotally connected to the main frame. A tension mechanism is interconnected with the pair of swing-out legs so as to actuate the brake lever arms to engage the wheels when the legs are extended in their swing-out position. The brakes are disengaged when the swing-out legs are folded into a stowed position.

Abstract: An all purpose recreational wagon is set forth. The wagon generally includes adult seating with a centered accessory shaft for anchoring the wagon and supporting various accessories. At least one side of the wagon breaks off or hinges to allow for seating or table top functionality. The wagon can store two large coolers, stadium chairs and blankets, an umbrella, a stroller, an inverter, and other various items.

Abstract: A self-contained mobile storage container includes a truck having a platform with a track, a storage container removably placed on the track on the platform, wherein the storage container includes a front end, a rear end and parallel sides. In addition, there are devices to secure the storage container to the platform, as well as a lift to elevate the storage container and remove it from the platform. Other devices are included to maneuver the storage container to a different geographical location for storage.

Abstract: A folding support settable between an extended position and a received position is disclosed to include a rack for holding thereon a table machine, a pair of first legs and a pair of second legs respectively pivoted to the rack for supporting the rack above the floor, two first links respectively pivoted to the rack, and two second links respectively pivoted to the second legs and the first links. The first links and the second links are moved with the second legs toward the first legs when receiving the folding support, and at the same time the first links are stopped against the first legs, assuring safety of the receiving action.

Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for moving objects, such as large potted plants, large oval shaped objects and objects of various other shapes. A user can utilize the present invention to move large potted plants and other objects without exerting a large amount of physical force thereby reducing the chance of a user suffering an injury resulting from moving large objects. A user can slide a large potted plant onto the present invention and then proceed in moving the large potted plant without exerting a large amount of force.

Abstract: This saw stand is a mobile unit, via a built-in hand truck design which enables the end user to transport common table saws and equipment to the location of the project being undertaken. The unit quickly folds out into a fully supporting work bench for actual use of the saw and/or equipment.

Abstract: A mobile carriage for supporting a tool, the mobile carriage comprising a first frame and a second frame, the frames generally having a Y-shape, with a support coupling the first frame and the second frame. The support elevates an end of the second frame. The second frame has at least one retaining member positioned along the second frame, the at least one retaining member retaining the tool in place and relative to the second frame. A plurality of moving means positioned at terminal ends of the first frame. The mobile carriage includes a handle depending from one of the first frame or the second frame. The mobile carriage may further include a control altering the distance between the first frame and the second frame.

Abstract: A golf cart collapsible device includes a frame folding articulation, a linking mechanism, a four-bar linkages mechanism, a front wheel, two rear wheels and a locking mechanism. Thus, the front wheel and the rear wheels are folded and expanded simultaneously by driving the upper frame, so that the golf cart is folded and expanded easily, quickly and conveniently. In addition, the front wheel and the rear wheels can be folded and expanded simultaneously, so that the user needs not to hunker or bend his/her body to fold and expand the front wheel individually, thereby greatly facilitating the user folding and expanding the golf cart.

Abstract: An invention is provided which comprises a welding carriage having a base, rear wheel assemblies disposed at one end of the base, a first front wheel assembly attachment member disposed on a second side of the base, and a first front wheel assembly configured to removably engage with the front wheel assembly attachment member to securely couple with the base. The welding carriage may also include a second front wheel assembly attachment member disposed on a second side of the base, and a second front wheel assembly configured to removably engage with at least the at least one front wheel assembly attachment member to securely couple with the base. The carriage may also include at least two welding attachment portions, where both welding attachment portions have the same cross-sectional characteristics.

Abstract: A utility trailer for transporting and processing lumber, pipe and other materials. The utility trailer includes a trailer frame for carrying the materials and a workstation is pivotally mounted on the trailer frame for processing the materials. The workstation is pivotal between a folded configuration adjacent to the trailer frame for storage and/or transport and a deployed, functional configuration extending from the trailer frame. One or more lockers or cabinets may be provided, with both interior and exterior access. A removable gate may also close the rear end of the utility trailer and a pair of ramps are stored in ramp housings on both sides of the utility trailer for deployment at the rear of the utility trailer.

Abstract: A garment transportation and the drying device is provided with a transportation frame for carrying a container for garments, and a drying frame, the drying frame being deployable for supporting garments to be dried when the device is used in drying mode. The transportation frame provides support for a container such as a hockey bag and may be mounted on wheels to operate as a dolly. The drying frame includes a series of drying supports, preferably in the form of cantilevered arms extending from a central support post. Items to be dried such as gloves, etc., may be slid over the free ends of the cantilevered arms.

Specifically, the invention disclosed is a multilevel tool lift which consists of a base assembly, a substantially vertical tube assembly and shelf assemblies attached to the substantially vertical tube assembly. The substantially vertical tube assembly can be extended or contracted, thereby raising and lowering the shelf assemblies attached thereto.

Abstract: A car seat caddy for use in supporting an infant seat of a type having an underside defining front and rear lateral grooves includes a pair of front and rear upstanding tubular members each being telescopically movable between retracted and extended configurations. A pair of upper support members extends between respective front and rear tubular members, each having a front and rear ends coupled to respective front and rear tubular member and having a curved configuration. A front seat support bar having opposed ends is pivotally coupled to the respective front tubular members and movable between selective position, the front seat support bar having a configuration complementary to a front groove defined by the underside of the infant seat. A similar rear seat support bar may also be included with respective rear tubular support members.

The vehicle can be transformed between at least a first configuration as pushable buggy and a second configuration for use as a towed trailer, and in both first and second configurations provides room for at least one child. Abstract: A painting stand system for support various forms of vehicle body parts or accessories for painting. The system includes a base unit and at least one mounting unit removably assembled to an upright post of the base unit. Available mounting units include a pivotable mounting units to which a variety of different auxiliary support devices are assembled and pivotably maintained, with the support device(s) configured for optimal use with certain body part formats. Other tools or holding devices, such as clamps and hanging bars, are optionally also included with the system.

Abstract: Cooking apparatus includes a support structure which supports a cooking area, a side attachment such as a side table removably attached to the support structure and extending laterally alongside the cooking area, and connecting assemblies which enables the foldability and removability of the side table. Each connecting assembly includes two pins attached to vertical supports of the support structure and side brackets attached to the side table which each include two substantially L-shaped slots into which the pins are received. The slot of each bracket closest to an elongate portion of the bracket opens to an outer edge and is oriented upward while the other slot of each bracket opens to the inner edge and is also oriented upward.

Abstract: There is a chassis with retractable wheels, wherein the chassis includes a housing. The chassis may also include a chassis sled slidably disposed within the housing. In addition, the chassis may include a pair of lever arms, each said lever arm being disposed in the lower portion of the housing. Furthermore, the chassis includes a pair of mounting wheels, a fender configured to cover the wheels openings in a retracted position, and a web joining the fender to the wheel lever, and having a second end. The chassis with retractable wheels includes a chassis sled, wherein the chassis sled includes an isosceles trapezoid configuration. The chassis sled also includes a pair of receiving members pivotly attached to the first end of the pair of lever arms. The chassis further includes a separation panel attached to the housing configured to conceal the mechanical components of the chassis with retractable wheels.

Abstract: A movable rack for supporting articles. In a preferred embodiment, the rack comprises a frame which supports first and second shelf groups. The second shelf group can be added to the rack when additional shelf space is required and can be removed when additional shelf space is not needed or when the rack is to be moved through or stored in places with limited floor space. Wheel supports and wheels are secured with respect to the frame permitting the rack to be moved. The wheel supports are extensible outward from the frame thereby improving rack stability, particularly when one or more of the second group shelves are attached or when it is desired to move the rack.

Abstract: An apparatus for retaining and transporting baggage comprising a selectively mobile structure having a guide handle for controlling movement thereof and means for moving the structure connected at an end opposite the guide handle. A first platform is connected at an end opposite the guide handle and adjacent to the moving means for retaining baggage thereon. A second platform is pivotally connected to the structure at a point substantially equidistant from the guide handle and the first platform. A supporting mechanism is pivotally connected to an underside of THE second platform for supporting THE second platform against a surface. Upon pivoting the second platform about a pivot point, the second platform moves from a first position parallel to the structure to a second position perpendicular to the structure.

Abstract: The invention is an ultra portable wheeled valet, hereafter referred to as the Shopping Diva, which is a very light weight, free standing, expandable/collapsible, portable, dolly tug, specifically designed as a shopping aide to securely hold multiple packages of various sizes and weight. The Diva is designed to be tugged (pulled from behind) when in use. As a portable dolly tug, the invention will collapse and fold up into a very small, manageable unit not much larger than an umbrella taking very little space in a vehicle. Likewise, as a portable dolly tug for shopping, it is very easy to expand, set up, and collapse again for storage, and very stable due to the wide stance of the rubber wheels. It is pulled via a simple curved handle only requiring one hand, either right or left, to pull the Diva while walking and shopping.

Abstract: The invention relates to a reuseable seat delivery pallet for transporting seats. The seat delivery pallet includes a platform, and spaced-apart first and second locking tracks positioned on the platform for securing a seat thereto. The first and second locking tracks are adapted to receive feet of the seat therein and to permit the seat slide between a locking position and a release position. The seat delivery pallet also including a lock positioned on the platform for cooperating with the seat to maintain the seat in the locking position.

Abstract: A computer cart includes a chassis, which is formed of a first chassis member and a second chassis member that are coupled to each other and movable relative to each other to adjust the width of the chassis, a locking mechanism for locking the first chassis member and the second chassis member, a first retaining panel affixed to the first chassis member in vertical for supporting a computer on the chassis, and a second retaining panel affixed to the second chassis member in vertical for supporting a computer on the chassis.

Abstract: A folding trailer may be capable of moving between a use position and a storage position. The folding trailer may include an axle that is capable of moving between a first position in which the axle is generally aligned along an axis and a second position in which the axle is disposed in a folded configuration. The folding trailer may also include a towing arm that is movable between an extended position in which a portion of the towing arm extends beyond the front portion of the frame to facilitate attached to a towing vehicle and a collapsed position in which the towing arm is at least substantially disposed underneath the frame. In addition, the trailer may include an adjustment assembly that is sized and configured to adjust the position of the axle between the first and second positions, and adjust the position of the towing arm between the extended and collapsed positions. Advantageously, the adjustment assembly may have different configurations and arrangements.

Abstract: An easily adjustable cart for transporting loads short distances having a moving bed that is moveable from between upper and lower levels and is mounted on a telescoping frame. The frame extends longitudinally to allow a user to install front and rear trestles in order to raise the bed from the lower level to the upper level and alter the configuration of the cart in order to accommodate loads of varying shapes and sizes. The frame includes a lower support for a handle that prevents bowing when the frame is subjected to heavy loads.

Abstract: A golf cart assembly for holding and transporting golf clubs having a support rod, at least one base for supporting the clubs, a restraining member for securing at least one of the golf clubs and a wheel for rolling transport of the assembly. The support rod including a single rod extending from a base to a height sufficient to be grasped by a cart user generally without bending. The golf club base fixed to the rod for supporting the rod in a substantially upright position while at rest. The restraining member directly fixed to the rod and disposed a distance from the base. The distance between the restraining member and the base being sufficient to stabilize a golf club resting on the base. The wheel being rotationally secured to the base.

Abstract: A portable assembly includes a multi-level housing having a vertically oriented back wall and an elongated rectilinear axle conjoined thereto. The housing further includes an elongated handle having a lower end portion monolithically formed with the back wall. A plurality of rotatable wheels operably communicate with the axle end portions and a plurality of coextensive shelves are conjoined to the back wall. The assembly further includes a mechanism for testing a variety of battery charging systems. The testing mechanism includes a plurality of power receptacles integrally connected to the back wall and spaced above a top one of the shelves. A battery-charger testing device is nested on one of the shelves for testing 48 volt club car power drive chargers. The battery-charger testing device is provided with a plurality of fuses for testing 36 volt and 48 volt circuits respectively.

Abstract: A clothes hamper having a base with a first and second portions joined by a hinge mechanism. A first bin is mounted to the first portion of the base while a second bin is mounted to the second portion of the base. Each bin is collapsible between an expanded position in which the tops and bottoms of the bin are spaced apart from each other, and a collapsed position in which the top and bottom of the bin are positioned closely adjacent each other and with the sidewall for each bin sandwiched between the top and the bottom. With the bins in their collapsed position, the hinge mechanism enables the base portions to be folded over on each other so that the bins are sandwiched in between the base portions for compact storage.

Abstract: Devices and methods of transporting a load (e.g., a backpack) over surfaces, such as an uneven terrain, are disclosed. In one instance, a frame and harness designed to attach to a standard backpack are disclosed. The device allows a hiker to pull or carry their backpack. In one embodiment, the cart has a frame with one or more wheels mounted at one end, and one or more handles extending beyond the opposite end. While being used to pull the backpack, the cart can be partially suspended by straps connecting the shoulder harness and the handles, thus freeing the hiker's hands without unduly restricting his/her freedom of movement. The cart can also be designed so that an attached backpack may still be carried in the normal fashion without detaching it from the cart. Other features of such devices, and methods relating to the use of load-bearing devices are also disclosed.

Abstract: A sheet handling device for handling large sheets of glass or other sheet material, the device comprising a wheeled trolley having an upright support shaft (2), a carriage movable along the shaft (2) into a selected position, and at least two vacuum grips mounted to the carriage to engage the sheet at positions displaced in the height direction of the sheet. In another embodiment the carriage is movable by operation of a winch. The trolley is normally used in conjunction with a second like trolley so that the vacuum grips of the two trolleys engage the sheet at spaced positions along the length of the sheet. The two trolleys are preferably interconnected by releasable bracing which can be stored on the trolleys for ease of transportation. In a further embodiment there is also disclosed a glass installation guide to facilitate guidance of a large glass sheet into a frame during installation.

Abstract: A dolly for moving a bendable roll of material such as a carpet and bending it to fit into a confined space, such as an elevator, includes a primary section capable of supporting a first portion of the roll and having ground-engaging wheels, and a: secondary section pivotally connected to the primary section and capable of supporting a second portion of the roll. The secondary section is pivotally movable relative to the primary section from a lowered position in which the secondary section provides either as a longitudinal extension of the first portion, or in a raised position with the roll bent. A stop member limits lengthwise movement of the roll along the primary section. A carpet roll resting on the dolly may be bent at a central area by lifting the secondary section to the raised position and applying downwards force on the central area of the roll.

Abstract: A pull-out recliner is disclosed to include a rear recliner frame unit equipped with a front pair of wheel assemblies and a rear pair of wheel assemblies, a front recliner frame unit coupled to the rear recliner frame unit and movable in and out of the rear recliner frame unit between the received position and the extended position, a rear cushion fixedly mounted on the rear recliner frame unit, a front cushion, and a movable rack affixed to the front side of the front cushion and pivoted to the front side of the front recliner frame unit such that the front cushion is kept in flush with the rear cushion when the pull-out recliner is extended out, or stacked on the rear cushion when the front recliner frame unit is received in the rear recliner frame unit.

Abstract: The present invention is a bilevel, cantilevered, welding cart with a rear cylinder rack and angled top platform. The cart frame is of a one piece heavy gauge steel that is capable of transporting in excess of 600 pounds. The front caster wheels and rear axle are welded to the frame leaving only the rear wheels to be attached. It has a single rear pillar support that can be offset in front of the gas cylinder support to allow easy connection of the gas, water air and or power lines to the welding unit. The gas cylinder support positions the weight of the gas cylinder adjacent the rear axle to prevent tipping.

Abstract: A two-wheeled cart for carrying snowsports equipment including skis, boots, poles, snowboards, helmets and personal items is disclosed. The cart incorporates a weather-resistant security compartment to serve as a locker for storing street shoes and personal items. The cart has a collapsed mode for compact storage, a narrow-travel mode for use on shuttle buses, and a fully-deployed mode. The mass distribution on a loaded cart is such that the load is balanced, leaving very little vertical load on the user's pulling hand. To secure the cart while it is left unattended, users lock the cart to some structure close to the ski lift by means of an incorporated locking cable and locking mechanism. Additional locking cables provide security against theft of equipment left on the cart. Business methods for renting the carts from ski resort parking lots and other locations are disclosed.

Abstract: An axle span linkage for adjusting the axle span on a log truck, including front and rear locks pivotally mounted to a bolster pipe receiving the pole of a log truck. The front lock engages a collar mounted on the pole when the rear axle bolster is positioned in a forward orientation on the pole, for orienting the bolster closest to the tractor. The rear lock engages a like collar mounted on the rear end of the pole when the bolster is positioned rearwardly on the pole from the first position. The axle span linkage includes a front adjustable rod attached to the front lock and extending rearwardly for attachment to a pivot arm. A rear adjustable rod extends from the pivot arm to the rear lock. An air cylinder operates the pivot arm to selectively engage the front and rear locks with the respective collars against spring tension. A pole-engaging linkage mounts on the headache rack of the truck rearwardly of the pole-engaging rest.

Abstract: A weighted sunscreen for outdoor use, which includes a shade having an elongated post with a first end, a second end, and a canopy attached to the first end, a weight, to which the second end is attached, a platform comprising an upper side upon which the weight is mounted, and a lower side, and at least three wheels attached to the lower side of the platform. The weighted sunscreen may also include a stopping device to keep the weighted sunscreen from moving. The weight may be concrete, a statue, a planter, an aquatic planter, or an aquarium.

Abstract: A golf travel bag has a bag and a foldable mini-cart. The bag holds a fully populated golf bag and has a side and a bottom. The foldable mini-cart is attached to the bag and has a longitudinal frame and a foldable wheel assembly. The longitudinal frame is attached to the side and the bottom of the bag. The foldable wheel assembly is attached to the longitudinal frame at a selectable angle and has a frame, at least one latch assembly and at least two wheels. The latch assembly holds the foldable wheel assembly at an angle relative to the longitudinal frame. The wheels allow the golf travel bag to be moved easily.

Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a portable, insulated container with lid; particularly towards a portable insulated container with lid and attached tray for movement between a stowed and elevated position above the surface of the container lid capable of supporting various items thereon while simultaneously allowing the user to lift the lid of the container to access the interior; more particularly to a portable cooler with an attached retractable tray constructed and arranged to be readily positioned by a single user at various elevations above the surface of the lid.

Abstract: A tool organizer is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the tool organizer comprises a frame and a plurality of wheels attached to the frame. The frame includes an upper frame component and a lower frame component. The upper and lower frame components are connected by at least one hinge and are moveable with respect to one another between a folded and an unfolded configuration. The tool organizer also includes a tool storage structure supported by the frame. The tool storage structure comprising a plurality of storage panels, each storage panel comprises at least one tool fastener for securing a specific tool. The plurality of storage panels are movable with respect to one another between a closed configuration and an open configuration.

Abstract: A method for transporting inventory items includes determining an assignment state of a mobile drive unit. The method also includes selecting a location for the mobile drive unit based on the assignment state of the mobile drive unit, in response to determining that the mobile drive unit is not currently completing a task. The method further includes transmitting information to the mobile drive unit identifying the selected location.

Abstract: An adjustable computer case support includes two side frames and a bottom frame located between the two side frames. Each of the side frames is a substantially triangular frame including a curved front member, a lower member, and a rear member. The bottom frame is pivotally connected at a rear end to the lower members of the two side frames, so that a front end of the bottom frame may be raised or lowered and detachably connected to the curved front members of the side frames to set the bottom frame to a desired inclination. The bottom frame includes two supporting members connected to two lateral sides of a width-adjusting member, which may be, for example, an X-type bracing having two intersected and pivotally connected braces, so that an overall width of the bottom frame may be increased or decreased depending on actual need.

Abstract: A dolly for moving a piano is provided and includes a base having first and second legs, with the first leg having a longitudinal centerline and the second leg being pivotally coupled to the first leg for rotation relative to the first leg. Abstract: A coupling mechanism for selectively coupling an equipment rack to a stationary receptacle unit and to a mobile equipment cart, the coupling mechanism includes a suspension mount disposed on the equipment rack, a first receptacle element, and a second receptacle element. The first receptacle element is disposed on the stationary receptacle unit and configured to receive the suspension mount of the equipment rack to support the equipment rack on the stationary receptacle unit. The second receptacle element disposed on the mobile equipment cart and configured to receive the suspension mount of the equipment rack to support the equipment rack on the equipment cart. The second receptacle element is movable along a column of the equipment cart.

Abstract: A transportable utility carrier apparatus for coupling to a transport vehicle, including an upper frame, a recessed platform connected to the upper frame, a wheeled base, a lift system interposed between the base and the upper frame for moving the wheeled base relative to the platform between a transport position and a freestanding position, a square hitch tube connected to the upper frame, and a rollered receiver hitch mountable to the transport vehicle. The wheels are spaced from the ground in the transport position. Abstract: A tool organizer is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the tool organizer comprises a frame and a plurality of wheels attached to the frame. The tool organizer also includes a tool storage structure supported by the frame. The tool storage structure comprising a plurality of storage panels, each storage panel comprises at least one tool fastener and associated tool indicia for securing and identifying a specific tool. The plurality of storage panels are movable with respect to one another between a closed configuration and an open configuration. A modular tool organizer, a tool set transportation system, a tool bag and a method for inspecting a set of tools stored within a tool organizer are also disclosed.
