The axle extends between the side supports and has a pair of opposite ends. A pair of wheels is attached to the axle. Each of the wheels is positioned adjacent to one of the opposite ends. A motor is mounted to the frame. A drive shaft is mechanically coupled to the motor and to the axle. The motor rotates the wheels when the drive shaft is engaged.

Abstract: A traveling apparatus is provided with two wheels parallel each of which is driven independently, being controlled to be stable in an anteroposterior direction between the two wheels and traveling. The traveling apparatus includes a mechanism estimating an inclination of a plane where a pitch angular velocity sensor is horizontally installed with respect to a horizontal plane by using a sensor measuring a tilt of a vehicle body in a roll axis direction and a mechanism calculating a correct pitch angle by obtaining a yaw rate mixed in the pitch angular velocity sensor based on the estimated inclination and a turn velocity of the vehicle body and by canceling the yaw rate mixed.

  • Patent number: 7703795
Abstract: A device that serves multiple purposes by being transformable between various states. In one state, the device operates as a cart such as is typical for transporting items to the beach for fishing or sunbathing. In another state, the device operates as a chair with a back to provide seating for a user. Finally, the device can also be adjusted to a storage state which decreases its size for easy storage. The device can be adjusted between the various states without having to use tools or without having to worry about storing, securing or keeping track of a bunch of lose parts. The device is particular well suited for fishing and can include fishing pole holders, a shade panel and cup holders.

Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a collapsible cart adapted for use in recreational areas. The cart includes a body, a support platform, and a first wheel assembly and a second wheel assembly. Each wheel assembly includes a frame and a wheel adapted to slide along the frame. The frame includes a pivot point that reorients wheels from a stowed position to a deployed position. The cart may further include removable fences, as well as a foldable backstop. In use, the cart may be folded from a deployed position, in which it rolls along a surface to transport items, to a stowed position, in which it is collapsed in a compact geometry for storage. The cart may further be integrated into a chair such that the platform provides a seat and a seat back.

The axel (6) between the wheels (7) can be disconnected from the wheel suspension (5) with wheel (7) can be turned flush with the underside of the trailer. The stopper(s) (10a, 10b) is (are) included and prevent(s) the wheel suspension (5) and wheel (7) to travel out of the calculated width. At least two smaller wheels (11) substantially in vertical position in the underside of the trailer ease the relocation of the trailer in upright, collapsed position.
