Abstract: An improved golf cart is provided which comprises a frame bearing a seat having a high back, a pair of rear wheels flanking the seat and a front wheel, a set of foot cranks, a drive chain interconnecting the foot cranks and rear wheels, a steering assembly and a golf bag rack behind the back seat. To the upper part of the back rest are attached rearwardly extending rollers so that the cart can be tilted up to rest and ride on the rear wheels and rollers for compact storage and transport of the cart. An L-shaped support bracket may be secured to a car bumper for supporting and transporting the cart in the tilted up position. The cart may include an arm depending from the frame and engageable with the bracket and connectors to aid in holding the cart on the bracket. The cart can also include gears, a gear shift mechanism, brakes and a brake lever.
Abstract: A power operated vehicle includes a body which is preferably mounted to three wheels and which includes a vertical transverse roll bar extending from one side of the body to the other with a longitudinal roll bar extending vertically from the back of the body to the transverse roll bar and with a seat spring mounted from the roll bars.
Abstract: A powered vehicle suitable for use as a wheel chair is disclosed. The vehicle has rear caster wheels which can swivel freely or one can be prevented from swivelling which allows the vehicle to manoeuvre in confined spaces and around obstacles. The vehicle has at least one steerable central front wheel which is steerable at least about 90.degree. on either side of a straight ahead direction. A power drive operates the front wheel in forward and reverse directions. At least two rear swivel caster wheels form a tricycle arrangement with the central front wheel, each of the caster wheels having a free position wherein each caster wheel is free to swivel in any direction, at least one caster wheel having a locked position, wherein the caster wheel is lockable in the straight ahead direction, and a remote control selector is provided to change from the free position to the locked position of the caster wheel.
Abstract: A three-wheeled motor vehicle has a container for clothes and other things that is supported between a pair of channel-shaped bars extending rearwardly from the vehicle frame between a pair of rear wheels. The container has a pair of front resilient rollers disposed laterally thereof and fitted in a pair of respective channels fixed to and disposed in the channel-shaped bars, and a pair of rear resilient rollers fitted in the channel-shaped bars. The front resilient rollers are retained against forward movement by front vertical portions of the channels. The rear resilient rollers are retained against rearward movement by stop plates on a U-shaped guard fastened to the channel-shaped bars. The container is stably supported on the bars by the resilient rollers against vibrations and impacts.
Abstract: The invention relates to a hoist for boats. The hoist comprises two booms which are connected at one of their ends by a cross member. The hoist is supported by three wheels which are associated with only one boom and with the cross member, and a counterweight is located in the angle formed by this boom and this cross member. The invention can be used for lowering small pleasure boats into the water.
Abstract: The vehicle has a support component which has two wheels and a frame work supporting a seat above and forward of the two wheels, a second steering component which has a wheel and means for steering the wheel and means disposed just above ground level for connecting the components so that a provisionally ambulatory medical patient who is either weak from disease or injury or who is partially crippled can mount the self-supporting vehicle and ride it from point to point without changing from a standing position.
