Abstract: A cart for use on a bare surface or a snow covered surface provided with a pair of wheels journaled at opposite ends of an axle to engage the bare surface and a pair of depending skis pivotally mounted between the wheels on the axle for engaging a snow covered surface, the radius of the wheels being between one-half and three inches greater than the distance between the axle and the load carrying surface of the skis.
Abstract: A carrier adapted for transporting luggage, suitcases, garment bags and such articles. A support with wheel supports swingably attached to the support. Wheels are rotatably mounted on said wheel supports, such that the wheels and wheel supports are adapted to be moved between an inactive position and an active position. The support, the wheel supports and wheels are adapted to be arranged in a substantially coplanar relationship for ease of storage and transportation when not in use.
Abstract: A dolly system for campgrounds, parks and the like. A picnic table dolly, a general purpose dolly and various attachments for the general purpose dolly are included in the system. The picnic table dolly is suitable for use alone or in combination with the general purpose dolly for moving conventional picnic tables. The various attachments for the general purpose dolly adapt it for movement of garbage cans, trailers, charcoal grills and the like, firewood and other similar heavy objects commonly found in campgrounds, parks and the like.
Abstract: A collapsible shopping cart where a specially made high rear traverse of the box, serves as a handle for the shopping cart. The legs of said handle are connected by means of rings with the usual traverse of the shopping cart and as a result, when the box is opened, said handle is placed above the traverse of the shopping cart, which increases its length and lightens the moving of the loaded shopping cart.
Abstract: A collapsible tow cart for transporting a load of beach items over sandy terrain to a beach site. The cart whose structure, save for the wheels, is fabricated of light weight metal tubing, has three basic components: the first of which is a rectangular main frame having parallel sides and upturned ends to define a carrying bed for the beach items. Perpendicular to the main frame and attached to the front thereof in a T-formation are the parallel sides of a rectangular cross frame whose down-turned ends are V-shaped. The apexes of these ends lie below the main frame and are joined by a transverse axle. Mounted on this axle in the open region between the ends of the cross frame and the sides of the main frame are two identical balls which function as cart wheels.

Abstract: A collapsible carrier is provided, including: a telescopic handle; a plastic base which includes a transverse bar and two wheel brackets integrally formed with the base and disposed one proximate each end of the bar; and a slide bracket slidably mounted on the transverse bar and pivotably attached to one end of the handle. A latch releasably locks the slide bracket proximate the center of the transverse bar, and two flexible plastic legs with integral spacer washers are provided. One leg is pivotably mounted proximate each end of the bar for pivoting between the open and closed position with respect to the bar. Spacer washers are disposed between the legs and the bar to space the legs apart from the bar free from interference with the slide bracket when the legs are in a closed condition. Flexible links are interconnected between the handle and the transverse bar proximate the ends thereof.
Abstract: A variable terrain dolly especially useful for carrying loads over sandy and rocky beach surfaces and adjustable for use in other environments. The dolly has a chassis consisting of an elongated tubular member with a load suporting member at the bottom and a slidable, transversely extending back at the other end with a swiveled handle. A foldable shelf is also provided and a pair of wheels pivoted from a point on the chassis between the shelf and the load supporting members. The wheels are over sized, have wide treads, and are adjustable over a range of positions.
Abstract: A break down dumping cart is disclosed including a hopper and a support structure which operably supports the hopper and which can be disassembled and stored within the hopper for compact storage and shipping. The support structure includes a pair of side frame members and a number of associated bracing members which cooperate to bracket the hopper on three of its sides, pivotal support members attaching one of the side frame members to the hopper, pivotal over center lever members attaching the other side frame member to the hopper, an axle and wheel assembly attached to a lower section of the side frame members, and a pair of handle members attached to an rearwardly extending from respective ones of the side frame members.
Abstract: A folding cart having a flexible container suspended from a rectangular rigid frame forming the mouth of the container. The rectangular frame is supported on the axle between two wheels by upright members pivotally connected to the two sides of the rectangular frame near the center. A handle extends from the axle and is joined to the rectangular frame at one end of the frame. The point of connection can be moved along the handle away from the axle to rotate the upright members to a folded position. Legs attached to the rectangular frame prevent tipping about the axle and wheels. The legs can be folded upwardly against the bottom of the container to fold the bottom of the container against the rectangular frame.
Abstract: A shopping cart provides a carrier adapted for carrying items, which carrier is pivotally mounted to a support. Further, a wall structure is provided, also pivotally mounted to the support, which wall structure and carrier can be pivoted to a position to provide a carrying space defined by the carrier and the wall structure. Further, the support and a base upon which the support is mounted are of molded integral, and thus relatively inexpensive, constructions and have an open end such that one of the shopping carts can be easily and conveniently nested into another of the shopping carts.
Abstract: A sturdy metal folding cart is useful as a garden wheelbarrow, a wheeled dustpan, and as a stable stand for debris bags of different sizes. The cart is constructed for compact packaging and ease of assembling by a purchaser, as well as ease of folding and erecting for use. The car possesses a foldable stabilizing leg with positive locking brackets which also support the leg and form attachment points for handle components. Convenient latches for folding side and front panels are included in permanently assembled relationship with the cart.
Abstract: A garment bag attachment is removably mounted on a portable luggage carrier. The luggage carrier includes a base and a handle assembly extending upwardly from the base. The handle assembly includes a pair of spaced-apart handle members and a cross brace connecting the handle members at their upper ends. The garment bag attachment includes a wire frame which is bent into an inverted U shape with a pair of parallel side portions, a cross portion, and a loop in the cross portion. The end portions of the side portions are bent transversely inwardly. A pair of mounting brackets are secured to the handle assembly, and each mounting bracket is provided with a groove which is sized to receive one of the side portions of the wire frame and an opening which extends transversely to the groove. The wire frame is mounted on the luggage carrier by flexing the side portions away from each other until the end portions of the frame can be inserted into the openings in the mounting brackets.
Abstract: The present invention relates to simple, convenient, versatile and inexpensive means for collecting refuse of any character which tends to accumulate inside or outside a residence or other building, and depositing it in an appropriate location for disposal. A portable bag carrying and bag spreading device, adjustable both as to height and lateral dimensions, is provided, the device being adaptable to a wide variety of bag heights and bag widths.
Abstract: A shopping cart which folds from a bag-supporting condition into a noteworthy compact storage condition in response to pivotal closing movement of its handle. Specifically, the pivotal traverse of the handle produces a scissors-type closing movement in the criss-crossing sides of the cart, and also lifts a two-piece bag-supporting bottom of the cart along a hinge axis, so that said two pieces fold together, all to the end of providing a compact arrangement of the parts during non-use of the cart.
