  • Patent number: 7338055
Abstract: A reconfigurable medical workstation enables efficient arrangement of medical equipment used to provide care to a specific patient. The workstation contains a comportment space that can be divided into compartments as needed to house the medical equipment. The compartment configurations can be uniquely created to house the specific medical equipment for the patient. Because the needs of patients are different and require different kinds of medical equipment the compartment configuration for one patient can be different in the present invention from the compartment configuration for another patient.

  • Patent number: 7306245
Abstract: This disclosure describes a work site utility carrier that configures into a dolly and hand truck in its retracted mode and a work bench in its elevated mode. A lower receptacle formed as part of a chassis with wheels, and an upper receptacle are pivotally connected by a unique positioning apparatus. In a retracted position the two receptacles lie side-by-side with their top surfaces essentially planar. In this mode, the carrier serves as a dolly or a hand truck. In the elevated mode the second receptacle pivots up to station securely above the chassis, The top of the second receptacle becomes a work bench. The receptacles may comprise tool boxes. One or both tool boxes may include tool drawers. Unique latching mechanisms positively secure the carrier in either mode. The latching in an elevated mode is aided by the weight of the upper receptacle.

Abstract: A kit used for mobilizing heavy objects such as items of furniture, boxes, appliances, etc. The apparatus is based on a plurality of rigid support structures, or “shoes”, which are to be inserted under the corners of the item to be moved. Those support structures carry longitudinal and transverse conduits which can accept long, rigid link members, such as rods. The rods or link members are fastened to each other by screw-like threads, and are finally fastened to the conduits in the shoes. The net result is the formation of a rigid “cage” around the item to be moved. Each of the shoes is equipped with a wheel that is originally elevated above the ground plane. By lifting the rigid cage slightly on each side, the wheels will drop vertically and remain engaged. The cage, carrying the heavy object, can then be moved effortlessly.

  • Patent number: 6923458
Abstract: A cart assembly for transporting products on a base platform carried on wheels has a canvas wall. Inversely U-shaped front and rear side rail skeleton structures, with vertically spaced cross rails, on the cart define a front to rear extending product compartment between them spanned by the canvas wall. Vertically spaced side straps loop around the side rail structures to correlate with the cross rails and have coupler ends. Straps carrying mating couplers project from the edges of the canvas wall in vertically spaced relation correlating with the cross rails to couple with the couplers on the side straps.
