Abstract: Proposed is a security element, preferably in the form of a security stripe, security thread, or a security patch, comprising a machine-readable code and an optically variable security feature, which has a visual appearance that depends on the viewing angle. The machine-readable code is a magnetic encoding, which is produced by printing at least one opaque magnetic printing ink containing magnetic pigments, with the magnetic printing ink being incorporated or applied in at least one defined code region such that the visual appearance of the optically variable security feature is determined at least in part by the at least one incorporated or applied magnetic printing ink. The optically variable security feature comprises a micro-optical micro-lens arrangement, which covers the at least one code region in which the at least one magnetic printing ink has been incorporated or applied.

Abstract: Systems and methods for database interactivity and user interfaces pertaining to creating, customizing, and synchronizing custom selection lists are disclosed. The present invention may include a software program. A user may use the software program to input the names of a plurality of selectable items for storage in a database. When the user is creating a selection list, the user may select the saved selectable items and arrange and format them in a preview interface. In other aspects of the present invention, multiple custom selection lists are stored onto the database and a user may edit a first custom selection list which synchronizes with and thereby makes the same edit on a second custom selection list.

Abstract: In some embodiments, an authentication system may be configured to process one or more tokens that incorporates one or more tailored-wavelength-range coded patterns, codes represented within a steganographic image, or “overlapping” codes. The unified target merges multiple techniques of identifying and automating UI elements into a single cohesive approach. A unified target descriptor chains together multiple types of UI descriptors in series, uses them in parallel, or uses at least one technique first for a period of time and then runs at least one other technique in parallel or alternatively if the first technique does not find a match within the time period.

The index could be a predetermined value that associates the random magnetic profile values to a list of enrolled values in a database. The additional information may include product or general information that needs to be easily communicated to a user of the PUF.

Prior collaborations with the user involving the extracted attendees and/or topics of the selected scheduled events are identified. Collaboration data (e.g., participants/senders/attendees, topics) is then extracted from the identified prior collaborations. A list of actions (e.g., delegate scheduled event to another user) is generated to be performed on a selected scheduled event based on the extracted collaboration data. The generated list of actions to be performed on the selected scheduled event is then presented to the user.

Dish attributes are derived from search logs and dish ingredients are extracted from menu item descriptions. The server determines the search intent of a diner based on her search terms. Food search is conducted based on the taxonomy and the search intent with consideration of restaurant similarity and dish popularity. The server also provides dish recommendations based on taste similarity between diners.

The calendar application is used to specify events that are to occur within a schedule of events, an order in which the events are to occur, and a duration for each event. Based on the specified events and available time periods, the events are scheduled into available time periods to generate a calendar, a schedule of the events that preserves the specified order of events. On detecting a change in the inputs, such as a change in the specified events and/or available time periods, the calendar may be automatically updated (in real time with respect to the change) to accommodate the change, while preserving the order and duration of events.

Such materials exhibit increased integrated photoluminescence intensity in comparison to known BaSnO3 and iron-doped barium stannate materials, and therefore they are particularly useful for the production of photoluminescent security ink compositions and transparent covert security features with improved anti-counterfeiting resistance that can be used for protection of documents and articles against counterfeit and illegal reproduction.
