Other gas supply couplings include a machined fitting and a direct connection between a gas supply tube and a gas supply line in which the gas supply tube itself provides for both the seal to the shield and the connection to the gas supply line.

Abstract: A wall-mounted bolt assembly includes a bolt seat, a bolt pipe and a nut. The bolt seat has a central guide threaded trough. One end of the bolt seat is provided with a tray. The bolt pipe is a hollow pipe. The bolt pipe includes an outer threaded section at one end thereof and a stepped sleeve at another end thereof. The outer threaded section is connected to the bolt seat. The sleeve is integrally formed with the outer threaded section and connected with an engaging ring. The nut is hollow and has an inner threaded section. The engaging ring is disposed at one end of the nut to abut against the sleeve of the bolt pipe. Thereby, the engaging ring in the nut abuts against the sleeve of the bolt pipe. The bolt pipe is inserted through the nut. The outer threaded section is screwed to the guide threaded trough of the bolt seat and has a portion inserted in a water pipe. One end of the sleeve is exposed out of the nut. The tray is adapted to cover an outlet of the water pipe.

Abstract: A hose connector (19, 59) for the assembly in a housing opening (13) of a tank of a portable handheld work apparatus is formed as one piece and has a base plate (20). A sealing rim (21) for mounting in the housing opening (13) is provided on the base plate (20) at a first side (57). The hose connector (19, 59) has at least one connecting channel (31, 32) which projects through the base plate (20) and which, at least at one end, has at least one connecting stub (24, 24?, 25, 26, 26?) for connecting to a hose line. A first connecting stub (26, 26?) is fixed within the sealing rim (21) on the base plate (20) and has a pull-off protector (54). The pull-off protector (54) is at a distance (e) to the base plate (20) perpendicularly to the plane of the base plate (20) which is greater than the distance (f) of the lower edge (51) of the sealing rim (21) to the base plate (20). The lower edge (51) faces away from the base plate (20).

Abstract: Devices, apparatus, systems and methods of installing one-piece sleeve assemblies corrugated decks in floors that are used for plumbing, mechanical, electrical and miscellaneous pipe applications, against water, fire and smoke. A one-piece sleeve assembly combines a resilient sealing member with perimeter extending side walls extending from a central opening that gets poured in place during the concrete pour on the corrugated deck that forms a water, fire and smoke sealed opening about the resilient sealing member and also allows for expansion and contraction of the concrete that surrounds the resilient member, a deck base having outwardly extending wings about a central opening that is aligned with the central opening of the resilient member, and clipped fire stop material that encircles a portion of the central opening of the deck base. The one piece sleeve assembly is installed in a cut out opening the corrugated deck floor so that concrete can then be poured onto the deck about the one-piece assembly.

Abstract: A fitting (58) is inserted into an opening (56) in a wall (50). The fitting (58) includes a ring portion (64) where it extends through the opening (56). It also includes one or two end portions (66, 68) that extend axially outwardly from the ring portion (64). The ring portion (64) has an inside diameter (76) that is smaller than the inside diameters of the end portion or portions (66, 68). The fitting (58) is positioned within the wall opening (56). Then, an expansion tool is moved through the interior of fitting (58) for the purpose of expanding the ring portion (64). The ring portion (64) is expanded to such an extent that it makes a tight fit with the opening (56). Also, the degree of expansion may result in a cold working of the wall material surrounding the opening (56). The expansion tooling only expands the ring portion (64) and does not exert a substantial expanding force on the end portions (66, 68).

Abstract: A connector seal device for connecting a branch pipe to a transverse opening of a main pipe, including a hollow elastomer insert of a first material and a pipe union of a harder second material. The elastomer insert may include a flexible support collar, a sealing wall region with a tapered inside surface having first locking ring zones, and an outside surface adapted to fit the transverse opening. The pipe union may include an engagement end with a tapered outside surface having second locking ring zones. The pipe union may include a socket end adapted to cooperate with the branch pipe. When the elastomer insert is inserted into the transverse opening and the pipe union is pushed into the elastomer insert, the first and second locking ring zones engage in the manner of ratchet teeth to press the elastomer insert against the transverse opening.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to in one aspect a universal mounting fixture for installation of an associated water feature apparatus. The universal mounting fixture comprises a housing, which may be designed to be cast in position within a water park surface. The housing has an interior sealing surface, and an inlet adapted to be coupled to a water supply for providing water to a water feature mounted in association with the housing. The water feature has an inlet for engaging and sealing with the sealing surface. The sealing surface may define an opening dimensioned to accept the inlet of a water feature fixture in sealing relationship therewith. When water is supplied to the receptacle housing, it will in turn flow to the water feature mounted therewith.
