Abstract: A high pressure filter including first and second housings having complimentary tapered surfaces, a gasket located between the tapered surfaces, a filter element centrally disposed within the housings, and a compression collar fitted over the second housing and threaded onto the first housing is provided. Methods of making and using high pressure filters are also provided.
Abstract: A threaded inline swivel has a first nut and an opposite second nut each having the form of a generally hollow cylinder with an open end to receive fuel. Each nut has a collar that has a common nominal diameter. A collar provides at least two faces for gripping by a wrench. Each nut has threading for connection to a hose or other fitting. To further seal the swivel to a hose or a fitting, at least one O-ring and at least one gasket are provided as alternative embodiments. In a further alternate embodiment, the swivel has a threaded second nut and an opposite barbed end on the first nut with a clip. The first nut has its chamber that constricts in diameter through a throat as it enters the second nut. The swivel in all embodiments provides for flow of fluid through it with little turbulence.
Abstract: Inflator connectors for inflatable personal restraints and associated systems and methods are described herein. An inflator connector configured in accordance with an embodiment of the present technology, for example, can include a body having an attachment portion and a sleeve portion and a coupling rotatably received in the sleeve portion. The attachment portion of the body can include a first bore having a first engagement feature positioned toward a first opening for operably engaging at least one of an inflator and a gas tube. The sleeve portion can include a second bore in fluid communication with the first bore. The coupling can include a second engagement feature positioned toward a second opening for operably engaging the other of the inflator and the gas tube.
Abstract: A rotatable coupling (50) includes a body (55) and a retaining member (70). The body defines a cavity (51). The cavity extends from a. first end (56) of the body (55) to a second end of the body (57). The second end (57) of the body (55) includes an outer surface (68). The outer surface (68) on the second end (57) of the body (55) defines a retaining groove (57). The retaining member (70) is rotatably mounted within the retaining groove (57) and provided with a plurality of raised flexible teeth (71).
Abstract: A nested bushing coupling for attaching a plumbing component to a conduit. The assembly includes at least one or more nested bushings having off-centered openings which may be situated at various orientations within a receiver.
Abstract: A high-pressure hose hinge assembly provides a continuous fluid path between first and second components that move relative to each other. The hose hinge assembly includes a plurality of rotatable swivel fittings that couple a plurality rigid pipe sections. A first swivel fitting is fixedly coupled to the first component and another swivel fitting is coupled to the second component. At least one swivel fitting and two rigid pipe sections extend between the swivel fittings coupled to the first and second components to provide a continuous fluid path.
Abstract: A hose supporting spool device includes a spool rotatably secured to a support device for winding a hose, a shaft secured to the support device and having a passage, a block formed on the shaft and having a peripheral slot and one or more grooves communicating the peripheral slot of the block with the passage of the shaft. A housing is rotatably engaged onto the block and the shaft and has a mouth coupled to a water reservoir. Two gaskets are engaged on the sides of the block and have curved recesses for receiving the curved outer portions of the block.
