The tightening ring may be tightened such that the axial ring and the tightening ring exert a clamping force on a drive housing, which secures the displacement pump to the drive housing. The tightening ring may receive a projection extending from the drive housing to provide structural support to the drive housing.

    Abstract: A coupler for coupling a male end of a hose to a female end of a faucet or another hose. In the first embodiment, the female end of the coupler is mechanically locked in sealing engagement with a male end by simply translation thereof by means of wedges and an outer retaining sleeve. In a second embodiment, hydraulic pressure provides the final seal, with the female end being a spring split-ring locked and compressed by means of an outer locking sleeve, which outer locking sleeve is released by squeezing it in order to deform it.     Abstract: A split nut assembly (100) for joining a threaded pipe (90) with a flanged pipe (95), the split nut assembly having a two-piece split nut (110, 130) having locking pins (113, 133) that engage locking apertures (115, 135) to properly align the split nut. A locking ring (150) slidably engages the properly aligned split nut to hold the assembly together. Rectangular apertures (123, 143) are provided on the split nut, that engage corresponding channels (163) in the locking ring, whereby the locking ring is rotationally coupled to the split nut when assembled. Locking tabs (164) hold the locking ring in place after assembly. This split nut assembly allows the pipes to be joined without threading any hardware along the length of either pipe, and with the split nut threads (112, 132) engaging the pipe threads (92) without having to rotate the nut.

    Abstract: A tubular connector joint has a pin member on one of the tubular members and a box member on the other of the tubular members. External pin threads are formed on the exterior of the pin member. Internal box threads have the same pitch as the pin threads. A latch ring locates between the pin threads and box threads. The latch ring contracts and has threads on its inner and outer diameter that mate with the threads of the two tubular members. A drive key causes the latch ring to rotate with the pin member. The latch ring contracts when the upper tubular member stabs into the lower tubular member. A short amount of rotation then causes the drive ring to engage the threads of the lower tubular member.
