A top end of the push tooth ring is basically flush with an exposed element or contracted in the exposed element under the pipe connection state. The exposed element is the more prominent one of the plug sleeve and the pipe joint. Also provided is a pipe disassembly tool.

    Abstract: A quick coupling type fitting is disclosed that connects two ends of two different pipes together in a fluid tight manner. It is designed for convenience in installation, high strength, compact size, easy manufacture with a low production cost, high efficiency and does not require the use of special tools for installation. The coupling utilizes a grab ring module that has a grab ring made with embedded stainless steel, thereby strengthening the fixing force and allowing for quick installation. A flaring surface on a retaining flange has an angle that corresponds to a tapering surface of the grab ring module. When the flaring surface and the tapering surface contact each other, the grab ring module compresses the surface of the pipe. Because the grab ring module has an outer plastic body with a small inner part, the grab ring module can be compressed to the pipe without causing fatigue of any members inside of the fitting. A specialized tool allows for quick and easy dismantling of the fitting.

    Abstract: A fitting to be secured on pipes can be used with a number of distinct pipe materials and types. The fitting includes a nut receiving a Belleville spring washer. As the nut is tightened on threads on an end fitting, it forces the Belleville spring washer away from a relaxed position. This causes a radially inner portion of said spring washer to dig into an outer surface of the pipe, locking the Belleville spring washer, and hence the nut, on the pipe. The deformation of the washer also forces a ring against an inner seal, deforming the seal against the pipe, the nut, and the end fitting. In a second embodiment, a second washer is also deformed. The present invention provides a simple and universal method of attaching pipes to end fittings.

The clamping device has a tensioning for tightening the clamping device around the pipe, compressing the annular channel and causing the inner edge of the frusto-conical gripping ring to engage the outer surface of the pipe and thus grip the pipe.
