  • Patent number: 11199285
Abstract: A plug-type connector for media lines having a coupling part into which a plug part can be inserted. The plug part can be retainingly engaged in the coupling part by a retaining clip that has at least two pairs of spring arms. The clip can be premounted on the coupling part by latching of the spring arms. The clip is U-shaped wherein legs of the U-shape form the two pairs of spring arms, which pairs are arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction and are separated by a slot and are elastic in the radial and axial directions. The first pair of the spring arms interlockingly blocks the plug part against being pulling out of the coupling part, and the second pair of spring arms holds the retaining clip captively in the coupling part in pre-assembly and assembly positions.

  • Patent number: 11168819
Abstract: A coupling device is provided having a female coupling engageable with a male coupling and a ring interposable between the couplings and provided with retaining means. A gasket is housed in the female coupling and held in position by the ring. The retaining means axially holds the ring to the female coupling and has two windows spaced apart in the circumferential direction over the body of the ring. The complementary retaining means of the female coupling has two lugs projecting from the tubular body constituting the female coupling. Each window houses an elastically deformable tongue having its free end co-operating with a longitudinal edge of the window to provide a housing within which one of the lugs becomes inserted in the engaged state of the female coupling and of the ring, and the retaining means holds the ring to the male coupling having two through openings arranged in the body of the ring and a locking member.

Abstract: A technique facilitates the delivery and testing of a tool string assembly downhole. The technique employs at least one rotatable element valve in the tool string at a location which enables the rotatable element valve to be used for selectively blocking or allowing fluid flow along an interior passage of the tool string. A one-way valve, such as a flapper valve, dart valve, or spring loaded ball valve, is deployed within a rotatable element of each rotatable element valve to combine flow control functions, thus enabling a shorter tool string section. The at least one rotatable element valve also may be designed to facilitate pressure testing of the tool string.

The body includes a plurality of grooves, an exterior, and an internal longitudinal bore. The cam, locking ring and locking bars are movable between first and second positions. The cam in the first position permits the locking ring in first position, urged by the spring, to force the locking bars to a first position in the grooves of the body and to extend the locking bars into the internal longitudinal bore locking the male and females coupling halves. The cam in the second position engages and forcefully urges the locking bars to a second position in the grooves toward the exterior of the body and the locking bars urge the locking ring to a second position further compressing the spring.
