Abstract: An agricultural implement having a rolling basket is disclosed. A stationary blade is disposed inside an inner chamber of the rolling basket and attached at ends of the rolling basket near the bearings that are connected to the rolling basket. The rolling basket rotates around its major axis via the bearings, while the blade is held stationary. The stationary blade has sleeves at the ends, and each of the sleeves is connected to a post of a support arm and locked into the posts via a pin.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing at least a portion of a metal part of a turbine engine having a width. The portion of the metal part is manufactured by metal disposition using a MIG welding apparatus including a pulsed current generator and a pulsed deposition-wire flow, and used for varying the current and flow, the manufacture being carried out in the form of metal beads in several consecutive layers.

Abstract: A coaxial connector crimping tool has a base, a handle, a transmittal unit and a crimping area. The base has a containment slot, and the containment slot has a guiding structure. One end of the handle is pivoted on an end of the base. Two ends of the transmittal unit are respectively pivoted on a first predetermined position of the guiding structure and a second predetermined position of the handle, and the transmittal unit has an adjustable length. The transmittal unit has an adjustable portion, and the adjustable portion is disposed between the first predetermined position and the second predetermined position. The crimping area is pivoted on the transmittal unit and disposed in the containment slot.
Abstract: The present invention has several aspects to it, one of which is the provision of a chisel point which is straight and tapered from its thinnest part at the extreme front to a thicker part at the rear thereof for causing a sweep to wear longer than prior art sweeps. This sweep also improves soil penetration and is self-sharpening. Another aspect of the present invention is to provide an earth working sweep having a front end, a right side, a left side, and a central upper portion for connecting the sweep to an implement. It also has a right rear wing portion and a left rear wing portion with an intermediate portion connecting the front end to the central upper rear portion and the left and right rear wing portions. A right edge and a left edge have concave edges on the front and convex edges on the back so as to form a somewhat S-shaped configuration which reduces scrap when being made and adds to the longevity and performance of the sweep.
Abstract: A method of making earth tilling sweeps from disc scrap including a process of cutting a plurality of circular discs side-by-side to form disc cut-outs as well as discs. Each cut-out is formed around an axis which is perpendicular to the plane of the sheet of metal from which the discs are cut. The method herein includes leaving a predetermined width of material between the disc cut-outs and a predetermined width of metal between each respective disc cut-outs on at least one of the side edges. A sweep blank is made by cutting between and through the width of metal between the cut-outs and between the one edge and each one of two adjacent cut-outs. Further cutting of the sweep blank toward its final configuration includes forming attachment openings therein. The sweep blank is then bent into a three-dimensional shape for use in tilling the earth.
Abstract: A process for producing an agricultural sweep defining upper and lower major surfaces and having a predetermined shape including an earth engaging pointed head portion with a pair of wings symmetrically diverging rearwardly and generally horizontal from a nose region. Each wing has a bevel-like configuration on the upper surface of the sweep and an attachment portion integrally formed with and extending upwardly and rearwardly from the head portion. The unique process of the present invention begins with providing a planar preformed blank having a developed shape of the cultivator sweep. Thereafter, the blank is heated to an elevated temperature. The blank is thereafter loaded into a forming die set including first and second cooperatively arranged forming dies. One forming die is configured with a mirror image of one side of the cultivator sweep and the other forming die is configured with the opposite major side of the cultivator sweep.

Abstract: The present invention provides conformable intralumen electrodes for use with medical catheters. The electrodes are made of a conductive polymeric material that is introduced into the lumen of a catheter through an opening cut in the peripheral wall in the catheter. A conductive lead threaded through the lumen of the catheter terminates in a distal end at the opening in the catheter and is completely embedded within the polymeric material introduced into the opening, thereby establishing electrical contact between the conductive polymeric electrode and the conductive lead. The conductive polymeric material fills the opening adhering to the walls of the catheter tube, thereby ensuring secure, long lasting attachment.
Abstract: A method of making a bentleg plow includes cutting from a metal plate a tetragon having a leading edge and a trailing edge converging toward each other, the tetragon having a top portion adjacent a top edge, and a bottom portion adjacent a bottom edge. The bottom portion is bent with respect to the top portion about a hinge line which is such that the bottom portion has a rake which seeks to draw the plow into the soil being plowed. In a variant, a plurality of bentleg plow blades can be made.
Abstract: An improved method of and apparatus for manufacturing plowshares that enables the plowshare bending and shaping operations to be performed with precision in a succession of reciprocal movements while minimizing the need for preforming or treatment of the material from which the plowshare is made prior to placement in the plowshare machine, which method and apparatus is further characterized by a capability of working sheet material of different thicknesses, and which utilizes hydraulic power cylinders.
Abstract: A combining mechanical placement mechanism which includes hydraulic jacks and stops with automatic clamping at multiple points via tie rods provided with elastic washers, so as to fasten to the slide of the machine the tool-holder equipped with its cutting tools, or to mount a cutting tool of sizable portions to the slide of the machine, without intermediary tool-holder.
