Abstract: A method for fabricating pallets for an escapement system concerns the field of escapement systems for timepieces. The method includes forming integrally, using a first material, a lever of pallets. A first end of the lever includes a dart. A second end of the lever includes two arms each for receiving a pallet stone. The method includes over-moulding a second material different from the first material on the first end of the lever in order to form a pallets fork. The method includes mounting the pallet stones and a staff to enable the pallets to be rotatably mounted.

Abstract: A clamp of an anti-vibration spring includes a pipe body and a sheathing element fixed to an end the pipe body. Another end of the pipe body is fixed to a covering element. The sheathing element is passed through the external periphery of the pipe body. The pipe body includes a screw rod screwed at the moving element, and an end of the screw rod is protruded from an end of the covering element and fixed at a driving element. A connecting element between the sheathing element and the moving element positions the sheathing element and the moving element. Each sheathing element has a connecting portion including a transversal slot, two clamping disc, and an insert portion on the clamping disc connected to the transversal slot and fixed by a positioning element. By turning the driving element, the anti-vibration spring is compressed or released between the two clamping discs.
Abstract: A tool for coiling spring and holding the coiled spring for replacing strip type spring used in equipment such as chain saws, weed cutting implements, etc. The spring is coiled within a cap that has an ejector plate provided therein as well as a spring holder. Once the spring is wound within the cap, the spring holder is moved relative to the cap to release the inner end of the spring and the ejector plate is used for pushing the plate out of the cap into a pull cord starting housing of an internal combustion engine.
Abstract: A tool provides a means for easily and safely removing a timepiece mainspring from its barrel for cleaning and lubricating. A barrel holder is provided having a rim, and an essentially planar surface which includes openings therethrough. A mainspring barrel containing a mainspring is inserted into a mating opening. A barrel holder cap is snapped over a rim of the barrel holder. The cap surface includes openings opposite the barrel holder openings. The cap and barrel holder thereby form a receptacle for receiving an extracted mainspring. The watchmaker accesses a loop of the mainspring in the barrel holder, and removes the mainspring. The energy in the spring is thereby released and the expanding spring is captivated in the receptacle, permitting removal therefrom for cleaning and lubricating.
Abstract: A tool for use in an automotive window regulator assembly is provided enabling a spring of the regulator assembly to be readily installed or removed by a mechanic or a technician.
Abstract: The rewinder has a tubular housing defining an interior chamber which is open at the top and bottom ends and has an inboard annular shoulder and an aperture through the housing wall. A winder with a handle and an annular shoulder is received in the chamber with the handle extending out the bottom. The winder annular shoulder and the chamber form an annular rewinding compartment. The inboard end of the spring is held to the winder while the spring passes through the aperture in the chamber wall and the rewound spring is retained in the compartment by a cover. The rewinder also has an element that adjusts the effective diameter of the compartment.
Abstract: A tool for rewinding the recoil starter spring within a recoil starter mechanism for a small engine which allows the repair person to rewind the spring with a minimum of trouble and without the danger of the spring flying out of the central spring receiving recess of the starter pulley.
Abstract: A device useful in replacing springs in equipment such as chain saws, lawnmowers and the like having pull-rope starter assemblies is provided which device comprises a substantially cylindrical or similar member about which the old or new spring is wound and movably positioned on said member a collar capable of being moved into contact with and held against the wrapped spring to hold it in place while it is being moved to and inserted into the equipment. The surfaces of the element against which the spring is wound are substantially smooth to afford a ready sliding of the wound spring off the device into the operative position in said equipment.
Abstract: A support frame carries a rotary clock spring winding shaft having a reversible locking means. A set of variably sized spring retaining sleeves are provided and are selectively placed on the winding shaft according to the size of the clock spring barrel. A parallel stationary shaft on the support frame mounts a group of adjustable spring end holding elements which cooperate with the winding shaft during the winding up or unwinding of the clock spring. The apparatus effects removal and replacement of the clock spring in its barrel or retainer in a very simple manner without injuring the spring or the hands of the manipulator.
