Abstract: A roll forming apparatus and a method thereof form a composite panel by simultaneously roll forming upper and lower plates with different thicknesses and a zigzag-shaped core panel, and welding them together. A bumper beam is manufactured by using the composite panel.
Abstract: A screw holder for securing a screw having a longitudinal shank and a central axis, a spindle adjoining the front end of the shank and having a bore therethrough flush with a groove, configured and dimensioned for receiving an elastic component to secure a screw into a steady position while turning the screw in or out.
Abstract: The press tool includes a frame, an abutment part mounted to one end of the frame, and a lever actuated ram mounted to the other end of the frame. The ram includes a pair of interchangeable fittings (one for affixing the push nuts and one for removing the push nuts). Rocker plates pivotally connect the rams to a long lever, which extends and retracts the ram through a tubular sleeve mounted to the frame. The assembly fitting includes a magnet that holds a push nut to the ram. When the lever is depressed, the ram extends and the push nut is pressed axially onto the axle rod. The removal fitting has a two pronged head. When the lever is depressed, the prongs deform the push nut flange, which bends back the teeth that secure the push nut to the axle.
Abstract: A tool is disclosed for installing communication cable. The tool has a handle, a first ending from the handle, and a second arm extending from the handle. The first arm has a rotatably mounted to the first arm, and the wheel includes a circumferential groove. The arm includes a cable guide for guiding the communication cable to the groove in the The handle is used to roll the wheel along a cleft, and the communication cable feeds the cable guide to the groove in the wheel and the wheel stuffs the communication cable cleft.
Abstract: A tool is provided for operating on golf clubs to separate the clubhead from the shaft. A cylindrical housing is provided open at both ends. A coil spring is deployed within the housing. A piston sleeve also is deployed within the housing and against the spring. The golf club shaft is received through the piston sleeve and coil spring and secured as by a vise. When the golf club is heated in the area of the hosel, the coil spring is released, causing the piston sleeve to push against the clubhead, separating the same from the shaft.
Abstract: A fastener-receiving member is disclosed that can be used with either a blind hole or a hollow wall. In addition, the length of the fastener-receiving member can be adjusted to be accommodated within various thicknesses of walls. The nut portion of the fastener-receiving member is configured so that it has ridges at its outer periphery that will engage with the surface of a hole regardless of the quality of the drilled hole. A wing-like locking section will expand to insure an adequate grip between the wall and the member. In addition, an insertion tool is disclosed that aids an operator in inserting the fastener-receiving member into a hole.
