Abstract: A clamp includes a top portion having a mounting hole configured to receive a mounting bolt. The top portion also includes a clamping surface configured to contact a first structure to be clamped to a framing member. The clamping surface includes a number of teeth, wherein at least some of the teeth have different angular profiles.
Abstract: A battery unit is housed in a metallic battery case. In the battery unit, current collectors having bent portions on both sides are fixed to face surfaces of an electrode plate group of a prismatic battery. The portions of the battery case, which correspond to the bent portions, are pressed in a thickness direction. Under the pressure, a short circuit inspection for a short circuit between the battery case and the current collectors of the battery unit is executed. When a projected object exists on the bent portion, a short circuit is generated between the battery case and the current collector by pressing so that a short circuit failure caused by a shape of the current collector can be detected.
Abstract: To provide a machine tool of which the operation rate ca be increased by reducing time for suspending an operation for machining an object to be machined during the object-machining operation using the machine tool. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A jigger comprises at least a first jig (5) disposed in a casing (2) and a second jig (14) by which an object (8) is detachably held. The jigger has attaching/detaching means (17) for detachably mounting the second jig (14) onto the first jig (5). The second jig (14) is provided with grip parts (32) for gripping the second jig (14) during its movement.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for separation of tubes produced continuously on a row of mandrels, continuously coupled to one another, by the mandrels being advanced in a conveying direction (X) and by material layers being applied to the mandrels. A material difference exists from the mandrel material at a connection point of successive mandrels. A measuring device detects the connection point of the successive mandrels, and a separating device, arranged downstream of the measuring device in the conveying direction (X), provides for the separation of the tubes. The separating device is controlled by the measuring device in order to align the separating device with the connection point. The separating device has a cutting head rotatable about the connection point, and advances in the conveying direction (X) synchronously with the mandrels during the separating operation.
