  • Patent number: 10500930
Abstract: Embodiments described herein generally relate to a vehicle door glass damping system that functions like a clamp along a perimeter of a door glass when the door glass is in a closed position. The system includes an actuator assembly having a motor housing and a plunger. The assembly is configured to apply a force in the vehicle lateral direction force to a perimeter edge of the door glass. A plurality of actuator assemblies may be provided about the perimeter of the door glass at multiple locations. The actuator assembly may be a single touch location or may touch off on the whole perimeter of the door glass. When the door glass is displaced, a sealing member body within a glass run channel pivotally compresses which creates a compression seal between the sealing member body and the exterior surface of the door glass.

  • Publication number: 20140361551
Abstract: A high security locking assembly for an above-ground communications network enclosure comprises a claw-like structure having, at one end, a slide bar with an end plate that carries a first set of locking pins, and a base plate, at the other end, having an end plate that carries a second set of locking pins. The slide bar travels axially in a guide channel below a rigid frame that holds a captive locking bolt positioned to engage one of a series of axially spaced locking holes on the slide bar. The locking pins face one another and are adapted for sliding into corresponding locking pin holes in the sides of enclosure. The claw-like structure is closed by sliding the slide bar into the guide channel, and positioning the pins in the locking pin holes, followed by locking the captive locking bolt in a selected one of the locking holes.

Abstract: A modularized respiratory treatment apparatus provides various respiratory pressure treatments. The apparatus may be formed by discrete connectable modules such as a flow generator module, alarm module and/or humidifier module. Each module may include its own external casing or housing to independently retain or enclose the respective components that serve the function of the module. Different modules may be adapted with different components and functionalities and may be readily coupled using standardized gas and electrical connection configurations that have flow and communication paths that extend through the modules. When coupled, operation of the respiratory treatment apparatus may be controlled by detection of different modules, such as the alarm module that generates visual and/or audible alarms based on detected conditions, so as to selectively enable or disable different respiratory treatments.

  • Publication number: 20130221688
Abstract: A latch mechanism for a manhole cover in which a rotatable operator member has a threaded portion engaged with a threaded bore in a cam pin which rides in a pair of cam slots in a latching member to cause the latching member to be extended or retracted upon rotation of the operator member in either direction. The threads disengage when the latch member reaches a fully retracted position so that the operating member can freely spin thereafter in the same direction, while the threads reengage when the operator member is rotated in the opposite direction to begin movement of the latch member out of the housing.

  • Patent number: 7014227
Abstract: A wedge bar locking mechanism is provided including a locking pin, a bracket and a wedge bar. In operation, the locking pin and wedge bar are mechanically coupled such that rotation of the locking pin results in translational motion of the wedge bar. The wedge bar and locking pin are received in the bracket which prevents rotational motion of the wedge bar and translational motion of the locking pin. In a preferred embodiment, the bracket has retaining tabs permanently attached or integral thereto, and extending radially inward of a longitudinal cylindrical pathway for accommodating the locking pin therein. The tabs are received within a reduced diameter portion of the locking pin to prevent translation thereof.

Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a disk-like member 15 that would be placed on the cover-retaining flange 20 in the manhole tube 22 on which the cover 16 would ordinarily rest. The operator would then insert a turnkey 24 through a central recess 26 in the manhole security device 10 until it matched up with its corresponding mate on the underside of the plate and then rotate the turnkey, thereby extending two locking members 46 in opposing directions until their tips 33 are imbedded in the soft metal of the manhole ring 18. The extended, imbedded locking members 46 below the cover retaining flange 20 prevent the manhole security device from being removed until the proper mating turnkey 24 is inserted and the locking members 46 are retracted. The manhole cover 16 is placed over the locked manhole security device 10 until such time that authorized removal is desired.

Abstract: An open ended cylindrical chuck device has an inner fixing ring, an outer movable turning ring, and three movable screw threaded bars crossing the chuck device. While the turning ring is turned, the screw threads on the turning ring move three screw threaded bars to hold a bottle to be locked. A fixing pin crosses two holes which located separately on fixing ring and turning ring to stop their movement. A cylindrical cap with a regular lock locks the chuck device. Thus the bottle is locked.
