  • Patent number: 11473355
Abstract: A latch assembly is provided that includes a latch arm having a rotational axis and an engagement surface on a distal end of the latch arm a length from the rotational axis. The engagement surface is stowed in a stowed state of the latch arm. The latch arm is configured to receive a pushing force to depress the latch arm a predetermined distance along the rotational axis. The latch assembly also includes a turret assembly having a top end with the latch arm mounted thereon. The turret assembly is configured to, in response to the pushing force being applied to the latch arm, raise and rotate the latch arm about the rotational axis to thereby transition the latch arm from the stowed state to a deployed state in which the engagement surface is exposed.

  • Patent number: 11215005
Abstract: A system having a cover for a motor vehicle, in particular a fuel cap or a charging port cover, an electromotive actuator with an output and an electric motor, and an electric motor controller, wherein the electric motor of the actuator can be controlled via the motor controller as a function of an electric actuation signal such that the output of the actuator transfers the cover to an open position or a closed position. In order to realize the automatic opening or closing of a cover for a motor vehicle using simple circuit technology, it is proposed that the actuation signal can be generated by an external movement of the output. Furthermore, a method for automatically actuating a cover is provided.

A locking arm is pivotally mounted to the bracket member for releasably securing the bracket member in the closed position. The bracket member and locking arm allow the backrest to be quickly attached to and released from a motorcycle.

Abstract: A lock is described for sliding aluminium door or window panels, wherein are used discrete hooking and locking mechanisms. The hooking mechanism comprises an oblong hook profile (21) which rotates automatically in a hooking or unhooking position into a vertically extending frame profile (1) which bears a respective recession shaping, as the sliding door/window panel is simply pulled in the opening or shutting direction, respectively. The locking mechanism operates so that, when being controlled by the user, it is set in a position for capturing the hooking mechanism in the hooking position, by capturing the immobilisation arm of the above mentioned, otherwise freely and automatically rotating, oblong hook profile (21).

Abstract: A suitcase lock includes a housing forming a slot. A link bar is mounted to inside of the housing. A lid is mounted to an inner open side of the housing by the link bar pivoted to the lid. A push switch, a rotor, and a hook block are arranged on the lid. The assembled lock is mounted to a suitcase so that the hook block may engage a counterpart hook formed in an upper shell of the suitcase and a pawl of the push switch engages the lid and the rotor is set at a position abutting against the push switch to thereby prevent the upper shell from opening. When the rotor is operated so as to not abut against the push switch, the push switch is inward depressible to disengage the pawls from each other, to thereby allow the upper shell to be opened.

  • Patent number: 7325842
Abstract: An automatic gate closer latch for use in centrally securing a commercial or industrial swinging gate to a stationary fence post, especially useful in the farming and ranching applications, includes a gate catcher assembly mounted on a swivel bolt, complete with directional pressure finders, a bearing tensioner assembly consisting of a bearing tensioner plate, a roller bearing, a tension spring and mounting hardware. The said gate latch catcher assembly is a flat bar segment composed of three right angled bends designed similar to open fingers, to catch the oncoming protruded gate edge post. The directional pressure fingers incorporated in the opposite ends of the gate catcher finger assembly allows the spring tension assembly to maximize its distance in the central neutral position thus causing an automatic closed latch phenomenon. Above normal pressure from an implement on either side of the gate will promote the fingers to open allowing the gate to swing open.
