Roller Patents (Class 292/79)
  • Patent number: 11959320
Abstract: A latch mechanism includes a latch having a first latch protrusion and a second latch protrusion, and a catch having a first catch protrusion and a second catch protrusion. The first catch protrusion engages the first latch protrusion in a first catch position. The second catch protrusion engages the second latch protrusion in a second catch position following release of the first catch position.

  • Patent number: 9752308
Abstract: An improved plunger having a true arch configuration and defining an interior cavity provides a body having a convexly dome shaped upper portion and a rectilinear truncated conic shaped bottom portion that defines a bottom orifice. Axial downward pressure exerted or a handle communicating with a handle attachment carried by the dome shaped upper portion causes the body to collapse to forcefully expel contents of the interior cavity outwardly through the bottom orifice and into a pipe or plumbing fixture. A flexible resiliently deformable exterior lip circumscribing the bottom orifice prevents leakage and the truncated conic shape of the bottom portion fluidically seals a toilet siphon jet to prevent loss of plunger pressure when removing clogs and obstructions.

  • Patent number: 7905524
Abstract: A door with a pressure opening comprises articulated hinges for hinging to the piece of furniture, and a pull-push closing device to be released by manual thrust of the door towards the inside. At least one articulated hinge comprises a spring acting for its movement from the closed position to the open position, in the way of pushing the door to the open position against the retaining action in the closed position performed by the pull-push device in order to help in opening the door upon release of the pull-push device.

  • Patent number: 7204528
Abstract: A latching system including a latch assembly and a keeper is disclosed. The latch assembly includes a grabber catch attached to a cup-like housing. In the illustrated embodiment the latch assembly also includes a rectilinearly moving pawl that is actuated by a handle pivotally attached to the cup-like housing. The pawl of the grabber catch and the rectilinearly moving pawl both engage the keeper when the keeper is secured to the latch assembly.

  • Patent number: 6513841
Abstract: Disclosed is a blowout latch for releasably securing an aircraft panel to an aircraft structure. The blowout latch includes a housing, a bolt, and a handle. The housing includes a bias section that has a plate, a block adjacent the plate, at least one coil spring having opposing ends, a roller mount, and a roller pin. The roller mount has a roller mount base. One end of the coil spring contacts the roller mount base. The opposing end of the coil spring contacts the block. The roller pin is rotatably mounted to the roller mount. The bolt is rotatably mounted to the housing and is used to engage the aircraft structure. The bolt has a secured position. The bolt is held in its secured position by the coil spring which biases the roller pin against the bolt. The handle is rotatably mounted to the bolt and is moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position, without the use of a tool. The handle provides an indicator when the blowout latch is in an open position.

  • Patent number: 5522656
Abstract: A mechanism for providing a biasing force in the desired directions at appropriate degrees of refrigerator door opening. An cam mounted to the door has a lateral wall with three interconnected linear sections joined with predetermined included angles. An arm is pivotally mounted in an aligned slot in the refrigerator housing and is spring biased into engagement with the cam. The arm and cam are arranged so that the arm exerts a strong door closing bias on the first cam section when the door is closed, exerts a greater door closing bias on the second section when the door is partially open and exerts a slight door opening bias on the third section when the door is more fully open.

  • Patent number: 5052151
Abstract: An opening/closing device of a door for a refrigerator or the like will open/close the door member at a desired side, namely, at the right side or at the left side, without requiring a movable operating handle. The device is simple in contruction, has a high adiabatic efficiency, and can be easily incorporated in the door member. Therefore, no special mechanism is necessary in the door member and no structural change is required inside the door member.

  • Patent number: 4500121
Abstract: A device for stopping and holding a sliding door on a vehicle in the open position includes a sheet metal support fixed to the door, a V-shaped lever pivoted on the support and a guide rail having a spaced apart triangular projection and end stop for cooperation with a pivoted lever. The distance between the triangular projection and the end stop is such that in the last portion of the opening strip of the door one of the slopes of the projection causes the lever to rotate against the action of a spring and that in the open position of the door the free end of an arm of the lever will abut against the end stop and the roller carried by the other end of the lever will abut against a side of the triangular projection which is inclined toward the end stop.

  • Patent number: 4196924
Abstract: An automatic door closing device includes a bell crank lever pivotablly mounted on the door which cooperates with a hook-shaped cam plate mounted on the door frame. A spring biased dash pot controls movement of the bell crank lever when the door is opened and closed, assuring that the door will close slowly but positively without slamming. Means is provided on the frame of the device to assure proper positioning of the bell crank lever with respect to the top edge of the door and the hook-shaped cam plate.
