Abstract: An insert (10) for an opening in a base (20) includes a housing (12) having a peripheral side wall (18) defining an interior space (24). The peripheral side wall (18) includes at least one latch member (90) having a latching position. The latch member (90) engages the base (20) to secure the housing (12) in the opening when the latch member (90) is in the latching position. The housing (12) is inserted into the opening in a first direction (A) to engage the latch member (90) with the base (20). At least one indicator (100) shows when the at least one latch member (90) is in the latching position. The indicator (100) is visible in the first direction (A) when the insert (10) is in the opening in the base (20).

Abstract: A lid to selectively plug or unplug a discharge mouth of a toner container mountable to an image forming apparatus for replenishing a toner. In one embodiment, a lid has a body member having a bottom portion with an opening, a lug member having a body portion having a first end portion, and a base member having an opening. The body portion of the lug member is sized to be received into the opening of the bottom portion of the body member and into the opening of the base member to engage the body member with the base member. The body portion of the lug member is received into the opening of the bottom portion of the body member and into the opening of the base member, the first end portion of the body portion of the lug member snaggingly fits through the opening of the base member.

Abstract: A combination structure of base plate and escutcheon comprises a base plate, a fastener and an escutcheon. The base plate has a plate and a ring-like wall surrounding the plate, and the fastener has a fastening portion, a fixing portion and a flexible portion connecting the fastening portion and the fixing portion. The fixing portion is installed on the ring-like wall and the base plate is covered with the escutcheon. The escutcheon has a sidewall, an opening and a limited-portion. The opening is formed on the sidewall and exposes the fastening portion of the fastener. The limited-portion of the escutcheon is restrained by the fastening portion of the fastener to prevent the escutcheon disengaging from the base plate.

Abstract: The present invention provides for an apparatus and method for securing a computer system. A security loop or tab is attached to a computer chassis and used to engage a cover that encloses at least a portion of a side of the computer chassis. Structure is provided in embodiments of the invention to releasably engage the cover with the security tab and to provide a means of locking the cover on the chassis to prevent unauthorized access to the computer system. Additionally, the securing apparatus is place in a location not readily visible to users of the computer system.

Abstract: Improved means for storing and retrieving articles including latching means for releasably retaining said articles, said latching means comprising a base member, a resilient lever portion projecting forwardly from said base member and formed with a latching projection extending upwardly adjacent the forward end of said lever portion to releasably retain an article on said latching means when said lever portion is in its normal raised position, and resilient means located adjacent the rear end of said base member and operable to eject an article from said base member when said lever portion is depressed, together with lock means movable into and out of a position to prevent depression of said lever to prevent unauthorized removal of articles from said latching means.
