Abstract: A housing of a device comprises a screw boss that extends outwardly from a first base plate proximate to a corner of the housing. Additionally, the housing of the device includes a force dissipation member. The force dissipation member includes a central portion that is sized to detachably attach around the screw boss. The force dissipation member further includes at least two arms that extend outwardly from the central portion, wherein each arm of the at least two arms is attached to a different side of the two walls of the housing.

Abstract: Described herein are improved grips for handheld devices (such as handheld mobile phones). Specifically, the grips disclosed herein overcome many of the technical problems (such as ergonomic problems) found in known grips for handheld devices. Embodiments can include an articulate grip that includes a finger retainer, a phone mount base, and a pivot link connecting the finger retainer and the phone mount base.

Abstract: An insulating container having a base and a lid is provided. In some examples, the insulating container further includes a pressure regulation device. In other examples, the insulating container may include latching devices comprising an elastomeric latch upper and a semi-rigid latch lower configured to engage an insulating container keeper when the lid is in a closed and a secured position. In still other examples, the latch upper and the latch lower are configured in a recessed position, and flush with a front side of the insulating container lid and flush with a front side of a bottom portion of the insulating container when the latches secure the lid in a closed position.

Abstract: A means for holding fingers for use with a cell phone has a first and a second set of cut patterns made into a compliant resiliently deformable material are configured for modifying the material so as to form an arcuate shape allowing an intended user's fingers to engage the means for holding fingers. The first cutting is made by removing material so as to create two generally parallel and generally elliptical openings; the second cuttings are located on opposite ends of the finger holder and are created by removing material so as to form a pair of identical—in a mirror image fashion—semi-circular shapes.

Abstract: A board carrier uses a belt configured for wearing around a person's waist. A hook bag in the belt has a downwardly facing entry with a closure. Proximal and distal ends of the hook are joined to the belt by length adjustable straps. The board is positioned within the hook with three-points of mutual contact between the board and the interior of the hook. The hook may have a spring clamp for securing a paddle. When not in use the hook and straps are placed within the hook bag.

Abstract: A hook for hanging an object using cantilever force is disclosed, and the hook includes a main body and a hook body. The hook body extends from the main body and includes a hook portion and a free end portion. The hook portion has an inner curved surface facing and close to the main body, and the free end portion is connected to the hook portion and has a blocking segment. A largest distance between the inner curved surface and the main body is configured to accommodate an object to be hung on the hook body, and the hook body is horizontally configured with respect to the ground when the main body is attached to a fixture.

Abstract: A backpack with a formfitting skateboard compartment conveniently holds a skateboard freeing the user's hands for other tasks. The formfitting compartment reduces the size and bulk of the backpack allowing it to be easily worn without hindering skating activities. In this manner, a user may take his or her skateboard virtually anywhere. The formfitting compartment will typically conform to the shape of a skateboard inserted therein. The backpack may also include various additional compartments to carry other items for the user. In this manner, the backpack may be used as a knapsack or the like.

Abstract: A combination support stand and carrying handle apparatus for use with an associated tablet device having a generally rectangular conformation with opposite front and back substantially planar surfaces. The apparatus includes a mounting member, a handle member, and a support stand for holding the associated tablet device on surfaces at selected angles for convenience of use of the tablet device. The carrying handle is grippable by the hand of an associated user. The support stand apparatus and carrying handle apparatus may be provided individually without the other.

Abstract: A cylinder caddy, adapted to a bottle with a neck, a bottom, and a center of gravity is provided. The caddy has a strap configured to affix circumferentially to the cylinder at a location higher than the center of gravity, and at least one axial strap configured to connect the strap. The caddy includes a handle with a first end pivotally attached to the upper strap, and a second end configured to detachably connect to the neck. In a first position, the handle is pivoted to allow the second end to be attached to the neck, thereby requiring the removal of a regulator, protecting the neck from dust and other particulates and allowing a user to safely carry the cylinder. In a second position, the handle is pivoted to allow the second end form a strut, thereby providing the user a more stable operating position.

The strap is configured to be stretchable between the rest position and a stretched position away from the back of the base plate to allow a user's hand or other item to be placed between the strap and the case.

Abstract: The invention is a single-hand holding device for the user to grab and hold a tablet computer. The holding device can be used in a horizontal or vertical position. The holding device can serve as a stand to set on a desk or other flat surface. The holding device has a base with a u-shaped channel to hold multiple-sized tablet computers. The base of the holding device includes four finger openings to secure fingers while hand secures the holding device.

Abstract: Device holders having a number of arms for receiving a handheld device and a number of recesses providing an interface area for a user's hand to hold the device during use. In some examples the device holder maintains an open cavity between the body of the device and the holder itself. In some examples, the holder maintains the device in place with a series of extensions from the base of the holder that secure the periphery of the device via a retainer.

Abstract: A portable stand includes a handle rod, a clamp, and a connecting mechanism. The clamp can detachably clamp a portable electronic device. The connecting mechanism interconnects the handle rod and the clamp such that the handle rod is foldable and rotatable to various angles relative to the clamp. A socket member of the connecting mechanism has a socket wall that has an open end edge and at least one slit, and that defines a receiving space. An engaging member of the connecting mechanism has a ball part that is rotatably mounted in the receiving space and a stem that is connected to the ball part and that is extendable into the slit when the handle rod is folded over the clamp.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a holding device for a mobile electronic device. The holding device may comprise a single member or a plurality of members. For example, the holding device may comprise a first holding member, a second holding member and a handle member. The first holding member and the second holding member interface with a mobile electronic device. The handle member may be held by a user, or may be mounted to a surface. In one example of the present disclosure the holding device comprises at least one joint which allows the first holding member, second holding member and/or the handle member to move in relation to the remaining members, allowing the holding device to fold into a compact configuration. In another example of the present invention, the holding device comprises a single member comprising a device holding mechanism and a handle section.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for ergonomically and securely holding a portable computing device and standing the portable computing device at least partially upright on a flat surface are disclosed. The apparatus and method include a holder base with a front face and a rear face opposite the front face, the holder base being configured to hold a portable computing device at its front face by engaging distal edges of the portable computing device, a dome-shaped grip extending from the rear face of the holder base, the dome-shaped grip having at least one opening for receiving a user's finger, and a flange extending from the dome-shaped grip for supporting the holder base at an angle on a flat surface. The dome-shaped grip is configured to be collapsible so that it can be easily stored when not in use.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and method are provided for testing a battery-powered electronic device-under-test in a transport frame engaged with a test fixture. A transport frame power supply is arranged to provide power to the DUT in a pre-testing stage. A switching circuit is arranged to switch from the transport frame power supply to a test fixture power supply in response to receiving a power switching signal indicating satisfaction of a pre-testing condition. Power from the test fixture power supply can then be switched back to the first transport frame, or to a second transport frame, to begin testing a second DUT. The ability to start a DUT test without having to wait for the DUT to boot-up in the test fixture reduces test time and increases efficiency of use of test equipment.

Abstract: A multifunctional strap system for portable electronic devices having a case and a strap on the back of the case. The case securely holds a protective electronic device while allowing access to all necessary features of the device. The strap securely couples a user's hand or other personal effects to the device. The strap may also be attached to a clip that removably attaches the strap to the bottom of the device. The detachable clip of the strap allows the strap system to loop around and be secured onto an object. The case may have an insert that can be used as a kickstand or a protective cover of a card held into place by the strap.

Abstract: A panel carrying device includes a flexible strap having a first end and a second and a panel receiving mechanism attached adjacent the second end of the flexible strap. The panel receiving mechanism includes a panel receiving platform for supporting a panel, the panel receiving platform having a proximal end and a distal end, and a counterbalancing portion connected to the distal end of the panel receiving platform for assisting in balancing the panel receiving platform during placement and carrying of the panel.

Abstract: A suspended tray apparatus for avoiding spillage while carrying a single open container of liquid such as a mug of coffee or a cup of tea. The apparatus of the present invention is comprised of a tray on which the beverage is placed and a rigid element extending from the side of the tray and curved such that the outer end is centered above the tray and container; a hole or other method of attaching a cord or chain to the upper end of the rigid element, allowing the tray to hang from a loop or handle, held by a person, at the upper end of the chord or chain.

Abstract: A halo or ring system is described for holding cups for use with a large beverage cooler, such as those commonly used at sporting events. A first large ring has a diameter sized to fit around an upper portion of a beverage cooler, and a second ring is attached to the first ring. The second ring is sized to hold a stack of one or more cups for easy use with the beverage cooler.

Abstract: An elongated strap with a first and second connecting snap to support one or a plurality of hanging items. Each end of the strap is folded on itself and snapped in position along the interior of the strap, forming two closed loops. The first loop may be secured by hand or to an external support, such as a vehicle seat headrest, a shopping cart or similar structure. The second loop passes through the handles of reusable grocery bags, hand bags or totes to securely hold and organize the items. The strap itself is a high strength material that can support the load of the suspended items and is adorned with a decorative pattern or color on its outer surface. In use, the device is intended to organize empty grocery totes along the outer rim of a grocery cart while shopping, as well as organize and store empty totes on the backside of a vehicle seat.

Abstract: A stand-up surfboard carrier includes two upward facing hook members sized and shaped to fit around a surfboard side edge. The hook members have inner, terminating portions, lower curved portions, and outer extended shaft portions. The shaft portions of the hook members are angled away from a centerline located between them at a first predetermined angle and are joined to a horizontal handle member at an end of each shaft portion. A shoulder strap is looped about the handle member and is sized and shaped to allow the surfboard to rest in the first and second hook members and below an armpit of a user. The handle member is offset outwardly from the shaft portions by a distance sufficient to provide a space for fingers of the user between the handle member and the surfboard. The carrier can be formed in two joining portions which disassemble for transport and storage.

The method comprises the following. Position the plurality of brackets with the spacer proximate to the transporting surface. Set the spacer of each of the plurality of brackets on the transporting surface.

Abstract: The article hanger is formed of a wire or rod and is configured for removable attachment to parallel posts, such as the posts supporting an adjustable height headrest above the seatback of an automobile. Each end of the device includes a multiple element clip attachable about the corresponding headrest support post, with the multiple elements precluding angular deflection of the remainder of the device and firmly attaching it to the posts. An arm extends from each attachment clip, with a spring coil loop formed in each arm to allow the two clips to be deflected for installation and removal. An article support hook is formed medially in the wire or rod, between the two spring coils. The device may be coated with a resilient or nonabrasive material to preclude metal-to-metal contact between the device and the headrest support rods, and/or other metal components.

Abstract: A carrier in the shape of a triangle for carrying multiple plastic bags with handles, shopping bags with handles, or items with carry handles, straps, bands, loops or hooks. The handle body uses a small opening in the top center of the grasping portion for the insertion of the items to be carried which is secured shut by the hand of the person carrying the handle. The lowest center point of the triangle shape allows the handles carried to settle at a central, low point, for a secure and balanced load carrying ability. The opposing faces of the handle body have an I shaped cross section for comfortable, secure carrying along with increased rigidity, strength, and a secure gripping surface. Two notches on the inner surface of the grasping portion of the handle allow for the attachment of a carrying strap to free the hands of the user.

Abstract: A flexible carrier apparatus comprising two rods and two flexible straps. The flexible straps are attached at opposite ends of the rods. One rod is placed under and then above the other rod, thus creating two nooses from the flexible straps, used to carry objects. A netting portion spanning the flexible straps is used to carry smaller objects. A securing device may be used to hold the objects together when the apparatus is not being carrier. A holding device may be used to hold the apparatus in position to receive objects.

Abstract: The invention is a method of transporting a pipe mounted within a plurality of brackets, each bracket having a body, an arm coupled to the body, a support guide located within the arm and configured to provide support to the pipe, a base coupled to the body and configured to attach to a platform, the base further configured to provide support to the body, a spacer coupled to the body and configured to maneuver the bracket, wherein each bracket is configured to maintain support for the pipe while the bracket is maneuvered by the spacer. The method comprises the following. Position the plurality of brackets with the spacer proximate to a transporting surface. Set the spacer of each of the plurality of brackets on the transporting surface.

Abstract: Four identical handles for manipulating a tarpaulin with grommets in the four corners to collect and transport a load. Each handle has a handgrip with a hook on each end, a staking member, and an attachment system to hold a grommeted corner of the tarpaulin. The hooks are dimensioned to admit and support the handgrips of other handles. Two handles are grasped together by a user and the handgrips of the other two handles are hung on opposite pairs of hooks of the grasped handles that the load in the tarpaulin may be gathered and transported by the grasped handgrips.

Abstract: A device for hooking, dragging, or gaffing a game or marine animal. The device comprises a substantially triangular hook member having an opening and a sharp end for hooking the animal. When dragging the animal, the device distributes the weight to ground requiring little or no lifting.

Abstract: A carrier for sport boards such as surf boards. The carrier is a unitary structure formed from a tubular material having a back section which, at its lower end, transitions into a U-shape cradle and a handle. The sport board is received in the cradle and then may be transported by placing the carrier against the side of the user beneath the arm and grasping the handle retaining the board against the side of the user.

Abstract: A bag carrier includes a generally planar body portion having a peripheral edge extending thereabout. The peripheral edge of the body portion may, if desired, include an enlarged upper flange portion, a pair of enlarged side flange portions, and an enlarged lower flange portion that extend continuously about the peripheral edge of the body portion. The body portion is preferably formed in an ergonomic manner, i.e., in a manner that is safe and comfortable for grasping by a human hand. A plurality of bag holding hooks extend laterally in opposite directions from the sides of the body portion. Each of the bag holding hooks is generally C-shaped, with the terminal ends thereof located adjacent to the side flange portions of the body portion. A plurality of suspension hooks also extend laterally in opposite directions from the sides of the body portion. Each of the suspension hooks includes an elongated flexible arm that terminates in a generally C-shaped suspension hook portion.

Abstract: A bag holder includes a handle having ends and a bag catch having ends. The ends of the bag catch are attached to the ends of the handle. The handle and the catch define an opening of the bag holder, and the handle is severed between its ends defining opposing free ends and an end gap therebetween.

The carrier is a unitary structure formed from a tubular material having a back section which, at its lower end, transitions into a U-shape cradle and a handle. Abstract: A gun case with retractable legs includes a gun case that has a top and a bottom and is capable of enclosing a gun. A frame is connected to the bottom of the gun case. The frame has an upper end and a grounded end, a first leg and a second leg are pivotally held at a pivot point to the frame. Each leg has a pivoted end, pivotally attached to the frame, and a foot. Each leg is movable from a closed position, wherein it lies against the bottom of the gun case, to an open position, wherein it is pivoted away from the bottom of the gun case and the foot of the first leg being moved away from the foot of the second leg.

The invention includes a small storage unit for valuables and for new and practice tennis balls. The carrying handle is retractable thereby taking up less space than conventional tennis hoppers.

Abstract: A game drag for dragging an animal including a flexible line having a draft handle end, an opposite end having a fixed snout loop formed therein for passing over the snout of an animal to be dragged, and an intermediate portion which passes through the fixed loop and forms a second adjustable loop that passes around a portion, such as the neck, of an animal to be dragged. The invention also contemplates a method of mounting a game drag, having a snout loop in one end of a flexible draft line, on a game animal including the steps of passing a portion of the line adjacent the snout loop around the neck of an animal to be dragged and through the snout loop to form a second variable size loop, mounting the snout loop on the snout of an animal to be dragged, and then applying tension to an opposite end of the line to partially close the second variable loop tightly about the animal's neck.

Abstract: A handle for supporting an object. The handle includes a main body portion having a hanger opening defined therein, and a protection member extending forwardly from the main body portion. The main body of the handle also includes a support portion that partially defines the hanger opening and extends above the protection member. The support portion defines a plurality of spaced apart notches that form a portion of the hanger opening and a plurality of arcuate flanges extending therefrom that each correspond to one of the plurality of notches.

Abstract: A tool for handling intravenous supplies packaged in containers such as bottles and bags. The tool has an engaging end which both engages a fixture to support the tool in a working position, and engages an intravenous container to support it in the working position. The tool has a handle and a shaft extending between the engaging end and the handle. The shaft is long enough to reach support fixtures and shaped to hang without contacting the intravenous container.

Abstract: A flexible clothes hanger carrier which serves to allow someone to carry a number of clothes hangers comfortably even if these hangers are heavily weighted with clothes, and further allows a plurality of hangers to be simultaneously hung on a vehicular hook member. The flexible clothes hanger carrier is composed of an axially crumpled flaccidly flexible tube of plastic sheeting having mutually opposing first and second open ends. In a preferred method of production, the flaccidly flexible tube is provided from a plastic bag in which the closed end thereof has been cut away to thereby form a second open end opposite the bag mouth (which inherently supplies the first open end). The flaccidly flexible tube is then crumpled into a flexible loop which provides the flexible clothes hanger carrier. The hook portion of clothes hangers are interfaced with the flexible loop constituting the flexible clothes hanger carrier by being hooked thereonto.

Abstract: A device for use by an individual for carrying garments hung on hangers is provided. The device includes a straight shaft member entirely padded having a hanger receiving hook at one end and a hand grip at the opposite end thereof. The hanger receiving hook is swingably movable relative to the straight tubular shaft and is capable of receiving the hook portion of a garment hanger. A tubular money holder that is smaller in diameter than the shaft member is insertable within one end of the straight shaft member.

Abstract: The bag closure comprises a first arm, a second arm, and a third arm. The first, second and third arms each include a first and second end. The second arm is disposed intermediate the first and third arms. The first ends of each arm are permanently attached to a groin and extend therefrom into a first position wherein the second ends of each arm are maintained in a spaced apart orientation where the second ends of each arm are not touching each other and are not secured to each other. In this first position, a first open slot separates the first and second arms and a second open slot separates the second and third arms. A ring is utilized to secure the second ends of the first, second, and third arms in a second position where the first and third arms are moved closer in proximity to the second arm and the first and second slots are substantially closed at the second ends of the arms.
