Patent number: 11859692Abstract: A hook assembly has a hook body with a shank portion and a free end portion defining a hook opening. The free end portion has a tip end with a through passage, and a key slot formed in the through passage. A removable pin is received in the through passage to substantially close an open side of the hook opening to retain items within the hook opening. The pin has a protrusion that mates with the key slot when the pin is rotated to a first position to allow the pin to be received in and removed from the through passage. The protrusion serves as a locking structure to prevent the pin from being removed from the through passage when the pin is rotated away from the first position. A spring retainer is arranged to keep the pin in its locked position.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2022Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Inventor: Terry K Robins

Patent number: 11841663Abstract: A sheet storage device includes a housing, a sheet stacking tray, a shaft, a suspension mechanism, a driving device, and a drive transmission portion. The suspension mechanism includes a plurality of winding pulleys and a plurality of wires. The drive transmission portion includes a plurality of driving gears and a plurality of driven gears. The plurality of winding pulleys permit the engagement positions of the plurality of driven gears with respect to the plurality of driving gears to be changed in the circumferential direction of the shaft. The drive transmission portion changes the respective engagement positions of the plurality of driven gears and thereby changes the respective relative positions of the fixing portions of the plurality of winding pulleys in the rotation direction. This permits adjustment of the respective unwound lengths of the plurality of wires.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2022Date of Patent: December 12, 2023Assignee: KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc.Inventor: Yoshihiro Ando

Patent number: 9069011Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of an electrical terminal test point that can be temporarily attached to an electrical terminal (e.g., terminal block) in order to provide an interface between the test leads/jumpers of a test device and the electrical contact points of the electrical terminal. In one aspect, embodiments of the electrical terminal test point provide a shield for the electrical contact points of the electrical terminal (whether or not being used for testing) from inadvertent contact and prevents test leads/jumpers of test device from accidentally falling off or being knocked off of their contact points. Electrical terminal test point can be installed and removed without affecting the electrical connections made by electrical terminal (e.g., without removing terminal screws of electrical terminal).Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2009Date of Patent: June 30, 2015Assignee: Exelon Generation Company, LLCInventor: James W. Patent number: 8621728Abstract: A locking carabiner having an eccentric pivot that when rotated causes a reciprocating motion that moves the opening end of the gate into or out of locking engagement with the carabiner body. Rotation of the eccentric is controlled by a short lever that can be easily moved by a fingertip, consequently the gate can be conveniently manipulated and locked with the fingers of one hand. The locking mechanism adds negligible weight and bulk to the carabiner. The locking mechanism can be incorporated on bent gate, straight gate and wire gate carabiners.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2012Date of Patent: January 7, 2014Inventor: Tony Christianson
