Abstract: A lifting tool support apparatus for use to lift an air cargo pallet is provided. The lifting tool support apparatus includes a main support plate, a key member coupled to the bottom end of the main support plate, and a pair of lock handles slidably mounted to the main support plate. Each lock handle has a lock plate designed to engage with the track on the air cargo pallet. The pair of lock handles slidably adjusts to a first position to permit the pair of lock plates to engage with the track, thereby locking the apparatus to the air cargo pallet. The pair of lock handles slidably adjusts to a second position to permit the pair of lock plates to disengage from the track, thereby unlocking the apparatus from the air cargo pallet.
Abstract: A tool for feeding a flexible line through to a connecting piece is provided. In order to simplify the process of connecting a flexible line to a connecting piece in a confined space, the tool includes an elongate shank running axially at least at a first end of the tool and having an axially extending recess for receiving an end portion of the line. The recess has an axially and, in some sections, radially configured through opening for the end portion. The tool further includes a handling region, distanced from the first end, for a user.

Abstract: A casing gripper is stabbed into a casing and energized by a top drive, gripping the casing. The casing gripper includes a load bearing mandrel that has external threads. The casing gripper also includes a nut threaded over the external threads, and a wrench having a portion of the upper end of the load bearing mandrel inserted into an opening of the wrench. The wrench is configured to prevent rotation of the nut but allow axial movement while the op drive rotates the mandrel. The casing gripper includes a grapple coupled to the nut and extending along a portion of the lower end of the load bearing mandrel. The grapple moves axially with the nut an is configured to radially expand and engage a casing member.
Abstract: Devices and methods for selectively emplacing a wear bushing in a wellhead housing and removing it therefrom. A drill string-mounted running tool is used to selectively engage the wear bushing during emplacement and removal. The wear bushing need not be removed each time the drill string is tripped into or out of the well. In addition, the drill string may continue to be lowered after the wear bushing is landed since the running tools described can easily pass through the bushing.
