Abstract: An apparatus has: a livestock transport having a floor, walls, ground engaging members, and an access door opening; a ramp; and side panels that are pivotally connected to the walls of the livestock transport, in which the ramp and the side panels are configured to move between: a deployed position where the ramp extends from the access door opening and the side panels cooperate with the ramp to form a livestock loading chute; and a transport position where the ramp is stowed and the side panels are swung about to lie against the walls of the livestock transport. A kit has the ramp and side panels of the apparatus. A method of using the apparatus involves moving the ramp and side panels between the deployed position and the transport position to load, unload, and transport, respectively, livestock.

Abstract: A rack for a truck includes a rail system having a first rail and a second rail each having a first end and a second end. The second rail is configured to be spaced apart from and positioned parallel to the first rail. A first support structure and a second support structure each have a first end and a second end and a cross member having a first end and a second end configured to laterally extend between said first rail and said second rail. The first support structure and the second support structure are configured to engage with said rail system. At least the first support structure is configured to be slidably positioned within the rail system such that the first support structure abuts the second support structure in a closed or unloaded configuration and is separated from the second support structure in an open or loaded configuration.

Abstract: The invention is a utility trailer incorporating a flatbed trailer combined with a detachable stock trailer shell, a removable center divider and a removable fabric roof cover, allowing use of the trailer as an open flat bed, an open stock trailer with one or two stalls, or a covered stock trailer.

Abstract: Device for guiding of air flow on vehicles, especially rear spoilers, with an air deflector which, in relation to the vehicle body, can be moved between a retracted position and an extended position in which the air deflector, as a whole, is away from the vehicle body and, in relation to its orientation in retracted position, is inclined. The air deflector is supported by an arcuate adjuster that is rigidly connected to it and which is slidably guided in a correspondingly arcuate guide channel of a guide block that is fixed with reference to the vehicle body.

Abstract: An improved animal carrier and passageway wherein a pickup truck has an animal enclosure with walls extending upwardly from the truck bed walls and a rear wall which extends upwardly from the truck bed inside the rear gate. The rear wall has an opening which can be selectively closed with a gate. A trailer can be attached to the pickup by a hitch at the front of the trailer. The trailer has an animal housing with an opening at its front end. A walking board extends from the front opening of the trailer to the rear wall opening of the truck enclosure to allow animals to walk between the trailer housing and the truck enclosure. Side rails extend along the walking board to contain the animals walking thereon.

Abstract: The trailer comprises a transport base with road wheels and a floor on which is mounted an elongate shell having side walls and a roof, the planform of the shell corresponding to the planform of the base. Separate, removable fasteners connect the shell to the base. Jacks are connected to the aft end of the shell to raise it out of contact with the base when the fasteners have been removed. Extensible rollers at the forward end of the shell are lowered to contact the floor of the base. The base can then be moved forward to remove it from under the shell so that it can be used as an open flat bed trailer. Other jacks are connected to a forward portion of the shell, to support the shell when not in use. An assemblage of partitioning components is provided to provide compartments for transporting a pair of horses and is removable to provide an open cargo space when needed.
