Abstract: A portable motor-vehicle workshop has a plurality of rigid rectangular I-beam reinforced floor panels, bolts securing the floor panels together to form a planar horizontal floor, and a plurality of portals each having a pair of spaced vertical lower posts having lower ends secured to the floor, respective angled connector beams extending inward and upward at acute angles from upper ends of the lower posts, respective upper posts extending vertically from upper ends of the angled beams, and a horizontal connector beam extending between upper ends of the respective upper posts. A plurality of panels are bolted to the posts and beams of the portals and enclose a space above the floor. A lift on the floor can raise a vehicle up between the upper posts.
Abstract: A quick-release mechanism that allows a motor to be quickly and easily released from a motorized activation assembly to activate a sliding mechanism thereby extending or retracting a slide-out compartment of a recreational vehicle. The quick-release mechanism includes a coupler adapted to slidingly engage a motor drive shaft and selectively engage a gear drive shaft. A spring urges the coupler into engagement with the gear drive shaft. A cam member supports the biased coupler and permits the coupler to be cammed against the spring bias force such that the coupler slides along the motor drive shaft and, thus, out of engagement with the gear drive shaft.
Abstract: A limousine funeral coach 10 is provided with an extended chassis 12. The extended chassis 12 is provided to accommodate a motor compartment 44 and a driver's compartment 50 behind the motor compartment 50. A seat 56 for a driver and a plurality of passengers thereon is provided in the drivers compartment. A passenger compartment 60 is located behind the driver's compartment 50 having a first seat 62 for seating a first plurality of passengers and a second seat 64 for seating a second plurality of passengers thereon. The second seat 64 is aligned and spaced from the first seat 62 so that the passengers in the seat 62 will face the passengers in the seat 64 when seated on the seats. A storage compartment 70 is also provided directly behind the passenger compartment 60.
Abstract: In a limousine hearse having a body, front and rear ends, a roof and a pair of longitudinally spaced doors, the improvement which comprises a unit floor extending substantially the length of the body to its rear end. A first partition upon the floor extends transversely thereof intermediate its ends defining a forward passenger compartment upon one side and an axially extending storage compartment upon its other side. An upright second partition upon the floor within the storage compartment intermediate the sides of the body defines upon one side an axially elongated storage chamber for a casket and upon its other side a second axially elongated storage chamber adapted to receive flowers. An upright closure lid is hinged upon the rear end of the body normally closing off the storage chambers.
