Abstract: A vehicle soft-top security device to deter theft and damage. The device includes multiple rigid sections coupled to a vehicle interior to the soft-top. The panels are attached via factory features of the vehicle and can be a full time retrofit or assembled and disassembled when needed.

Abstract: A trailer for transporting bulk material has a container mounted on a chassis and wheeled suspension. The container has opposing sidewalls, a floor, a front wall, and a rear opening. The trailer further has an unloading system comprising a plow and a plow motor system. The plow is disposed in the container and shaped and sized to span substantially a transverse cross-section of the container. The plow motor system is operable to move the plow longitudinally in the container to urge or push the bulk material in the container toward and out of the rear opening of the container. At least one of the sidewalls comprises a removable panel installed longitudinally along a bottom of the sidewall, wherein an inward-facing surface of the removable panel and an inward-facing surface of the sidewall are substantially co-planar.

Abstract: Stake pocket formations are secured to a cargo bed frame of a land vehicle such as trailers and flatbed trucks for removably supporting sidewall supporting members. The formations include sidewalls secured to and projecting from the frame and an end wall extending between the sidewalls. An opening extends through the end wall and is adapted to receive the terminal end of a J-hook therethrough. The J-hook is secured to the formation by inserting the terminal end thereof into the pocket placing an upper edge of the end wall into the J-hook gap and rolling/rotating the J-hook thereby inserting the terminal end into the opening. The J-hook cannot be removed from the pocket unless it is rolled/rotated in the opposite direction. While within the stake pocket and without strap tension, the J-hook abuts the trailer frame and formation end wall and is, thereby, maintained within the pocket.

Abstract: A panel assembly is provided comprising a first face having an outer perimeter and a second face having an outer perimeter, the second face being directly opposite the first face and having a substantially smooth surface, the first and second faces forming a first panel thickness. A plurality of borders surround the perimeters of the first and second faces. At least one support member is attached and arranged perpendicular to the first face, the at least one support member extending parallel to at least one border, the at least one support member and the second face forming a second panel thickness, the second panel thickness is greater than the first panel thickness.

Abstract: A cover system for a substantially flat support surface on a vehicle includes multiple stakes having channels defined along longitudinal sides thereof and which are disposed at a lateral side of the vehicle adjacent the support surface such that the stakes extend substantially perpendicular and upwardly relative to the support surface, removable panels which are removably fitted to the channels of the of the stakes and extend substantially perpendicularly at the lateral side of the vehicle adjacent the support surface and such that open gaps are defined between lower portions of the panels and the support surface, a tarp cover disposed between upper ends of the panels to cover an opening above the support surface, and a sealing device which seals the opens gaps.

Abstract: The invention generally concerns a semi-trailer to be trailed by a tractor. The semi-trailer comprises a wheeled deck having two lateral sides, proximate and distal longitudinal end sides. The semi-trailer also comprises two wall structures so pivotably mounted to the deck along a respective lateral side thereof as to be movable between an upright position, where the semi-trailer is in a dry-box configuration, and a lay down position wherein the semi-trailer is in a flatbed configuration. The two pivotable wall structures allow the semi-trailer to be moved between the dry-box configuration and the flatbed configuration.

Abstract: A frameless modular trailer for towing behind a motor vehicle is provided. The trailer is made of slidably coupled extrusions for easy assembly. The front and side panels include a protrusion on the top surface. This protrusion allows for the stacking of additional panels for vary the height of the trailer. Additionally, one of a variety of top panels may be stacked on the front and side panels to multiple configurations for securing objects within the trailer.

Abstract: A cover system, for protectively covering a trailer, includes a plurality of stakes, stake-supported panels and stake-retaining pockets. Each pocket includes a base section, adapted to be fixed to the vehicle, and a movable section which moves between open and closed positions of the pocket. The stake-retaining pocket is formed when the movable section is in the closed position. Each stake includes an inner section and an outer section selectively connectable to the inner section to define a pair of panel-receiving recesses therebetween. The inner stake section is thicker than the outer section, and the outer section includes an intermediate portion for separating the panel-receiving recesses when the stake sections are connected together. Rails may be used above the stakes to hold the panels in place, and a plurality of bows may adjustably or non-adjustably support a tarp above the rails. A trailer incorporating the cover system is also described.

Abstract: The invention concerns a road trailer whose frame consists of profiles having a fin to support the floor and grooves on their upper and lower faces able to retain in rotation bolt heads and the lower edges of sidewalls (10). The side members and cross bars are joined by corner pieces which have a vertical orifice to receive the lower end of a post (9) comprising orthogonal grooves housing the side edges of the sidewalls (10). The corner pieces (30) have two perpendicular arms respectively fitted into the adjacent ends of profiles forming the frame. Mounting of the elements requires little tooling.

Abstract: A wall panel for use in a flatbed trailer sidewall system includes a frame and a waterproof fabric sheet. The frame may include a bore therein to receive an enlarged edge profile of the fabric sheet. The frame of the wall panel is generally rectangular in shape and consists of a top rail, a bottom rail, and two opposing side rails extending between the top rail and bottom rail. The rails may be secured to one another using one or both of a corner bracket and a threaded insert and threaded fastener assembly.

Abstract: A roof for a motor vehicle incorporating a roof channel has a cage with a slider guided therein in the vicinity of a retaining means for a roof rack. The slider can be displaced in the cage from a position closing the roof rack opening into a position exposing the roof rack opening. In addition, the cage holds a cover strip for the roof channel. The slider and the cage are made from a synthetic material and can be produced and installed in a particularly economical manner.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a camper shell windshield wiper, wherein the wiper unit removes precipitation or debris from a window of the truck camper shell thus allowing the driver to view unobstructed through the window. In particular, the present invention may be used to wipe or sweep the rear-window of the truck camper shell. Specifically, the unitary windshield wiper unit may include a truck camper shell, wiper arm, wiper motor, and wiper blade. The unitary windshield wiper unit may also be associated with a washer fluid reservoir, washer fluid spray nozzle, washer fluid pump, or fluid delivery tube, which may be utilized to contact washer fluid to the window to be wiped, thus removing precipitation and debris from the camper shell window in a more effective manner. The present invention is also a kit for installing a unitary camper shell windshield wiper unit.

Abstract: A mortar buggy with stake bed assembly provides a removable flat heavy duty base platform and a rear panel that can be fitted onto the chassis of an existing mortar buggy or similar conveyance in place of a hopper. The stake bed assembly provides removable front and side panels made of solid steel or similar alloy that can be configured to attach vertically in a hopper configuration or horizontally in an extended flat bed configuration, to provide additional loading surface for long or large items. The stake bed assembly also provides for a removable front tailgate with the ability to hinge at both its top and bottom so that the front tailgate can swing either up or down.

Abstract: A composite panel of a wall of a trailer has inner and outer skins and a core material positioned between and secured to the skins. The core material defines or includes a plurality of voids which extend vertically along a height of the core material. At a plurality of points in a cross-section taken along the height of the core material, the core material is secured to both the skins. Alternatively, at any point in a cross-section taken along the height of the core material, the core material is secured to at least one of the skins. The voids through the composite panel provide a vent path from an interior of the trailer to an exterior of the trailer when top ends of the voids are separated from the top rail of the trailer and when bottom ends of the voids are separated from the bottom rail of the trailer.

Abstract: An integral stake rack panel, for constructing a box of a truck or trailer, includes a base structure fabricated from a single sheet of material, and containing a plurality of corrugated regions. The panel also includes generally flat regions between adjacent corrugated regions, wherein each generally flat region contains a plurality of apertures. A plurality of mounting members are attached to the corrugated regions, wherein the an end of each mounting member extends past the bottom parallel side of the base structure.

Abstract: A reconfigurable truck bed has a plurality of receivers. A variety of accessories have structure that mates with the receivers in order to support the accessories on the truck bed. The accessories may be selectively positioned in a particular receiver or set of receivers. The accessories may also be conveniently oriented or reoriented for a particular circumstance or use. As such, the truck bed may be selectively reconfigured to meet the needs of a user and provide a particular benefit. In another aspect, a body structure or a chassis structure of any motor vehicle may be provided with receivers. Frames providing the receivers may be added onto bodies or chassis of any motor vehicle.
