The paint spray enclosure also includes an air flow input apparatus for allowing air flow into the enclosure, and an air extraction apparatus/air scrubber for removing air from the enclosure, such that air mixed with vaporized paint inside the enclosure is removed from the enclosure before the paint vapor and air combine to form an explosive mixture, thereby preventing an explosion and/or fire from occurring inside the enclosure, and preventing operators from being exposed to harmful fumes.

A pair of side by side slide assemblies are formed by respective nests of C-channels and I-beams, each assembly extending and retracting through an opening in a sidewall of the truck wherein to deploy and retract a roof section outwardly from the truck. The roof section is deployed through a dedicated opening in the sidewall, which opening may be closed by a closure panel but opened by deployment of the roof section. When deployed, an enclosure is formed by attaching a drop cloth to the roof section. The enclosure when used as a paint booth enables rapid deployment of a drop cloth about irregular or difficult surfaces to be painted, as well as to contain overspray and fumes created by the spraying operation.

    Abstract: A low profile floor console for a vehicle includes a pair of end walls. In a lowered position, the console permits pass through between two spaced apart vehicle seats. When raised, fabric or netting attached, together with the end walls define a storage area. In the preferred embodiment, an add-on module fits over the raised end walls to provide a rigid storage area, and additional functionality, such as a tray, a power port, cup holders, change bins, and the like. The lid of the module may be configured for sliding or pivotal movement to allow access to the interior thereof. Also in the preferred embodiment, the floor console is constructed to trim out a parking brake assembly. In various alternate embodiments, the floor console end walls may be constructed to provide additional functionality, such as internal map pockets, and the console system may be arranged for use at different locations within the vehicle, such as in the cargo area.
