Abstract: In some embodiments, various systems, apparatuses and methods are described herein includes back end stocking shelving units that are configured to extend along sides of adjacent shopping aisles in a back-to-back configuration with a secure central aisle running between the shelving units to provide back end stocking access to both shelving units. The secure central aisle can have a restricted access point on one or both ends thereof.

Abstract: A vehicle rail system has a frame mountable to a vehicle, the frame having a plurality of support legs, the support legs interconnected via support beams. One or more fixed rails are mountable to the support frame, each fixed rail comprising a plurality of bearings thereon and configured to receive a sliding rail, the sliding rail having a plurality of grooves for receiving the bearings of the fixed rail so as to be slidable thereon. The bearings are located along regular intervals of the fixed rails on each non-mounted side. The sliding rail is then able to slide along the bearings of the fixed rail, extending to the exterior of the frame mounted in the vehicle.

Abstract: An air vent includes air-conveying surfaces in a housing arranged to guide separate first and second volumetric flows of air through the housing from an inlet end to a discharge end via respective first and second air channels. The air channels are arranged so that the first and second volumetric flows of air exit an air discharge opening in intersecting directions and collide after exiting the housing. The air vent includes an air flow adjustment element that is movable to change a ratio of the first volumetric flow to the second volumetric flow.

Abstract: A mobile vending trailer is provided. In at least one embodiment, a solar-powered mobile vending apparatus includes: a portable chassis; a housing; at least one vending machine configured to be stored and transported in the housing; a solar panel array configured to capture sunlight and convert the captured sunlight into electricity, thereby to provide solar power to the vending machine; a plurality of batteries configured for charge from the electricity generated from the solar panel array in order to provide power to the at least one vending machine; a controller configured to control the solar panel array and the plurality of batteries; and at least one lift configured to lower and raise the vending machine. The solar-powered mobile vending apparatus is adapted for use both off-grid and on-grid. In various embodiments, the apparatus also includes one or more of a wind turbine, generator, inverter, and combiner.

The disclosed vending service unit includes drawers that allow different types of beverage to be stored and sold. The drawers are individually insulated and can be individually heated or chilled for different food temperatures and types. The vending service unit includes a counter surface that can be used to set items upon and upon which to conduct business.

Abstract: A vehicle useful for catering, vending and food service normally has service windows on the passenger side of the vehicle to accommodate pedestrian patrons. Disclosed herein is such a vehicle fitted with an auxiliary service window on the driver's side of the vehicle to accommodate vehicular occupants. An auxiliary service platform is installed below interior floor level to place a server in closer proximity to an adjacent vehicle. Steps are provided to enable access to the auxiliary platform from the interior vehicle floor.

Abstract: A vehicle for transporting or vending refrigerated product having a peripheral body extending vertically from the supporting surface, the peripheral body having a driver area, retail area, and cooling area, a bulk head for dividing the retail area from the cooling area, an auxiliary power system for powering at least one electrical component, having a battery bank and a charging mechanism, the charging mechanism having a vehicle charging system, shore power charging system, and solar array charging system, the charging mechanism imparting electrical charge to the battery bank, where the electrical component is a temperature control system for maintaining the temperature of the cooling area within a desired temperature range.

The dispensing system is closable or coverable by a person from within the interior space, to prevent access from the outside, and for cleaning, service and travel.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of vehicles having table assemblies. One embodiment of a vehicle comprises a vehicle body structure, a support member, and a table member. The vehicle body structure defines at least a portion of a compartment and has an opening permitting access to the compartment. The support member is coupled to the vehicle body structure to move from an interior position in which the support member is substantially inboard of the compartment, to an exterior position in which at least a portion of the support member moves through the opening to a location outboard of the vehicle body structure. The table member is coupled to the support member to move from a first position in which the table member is located inboard of the vehicle body structure, to a second position in which the table member is located outboard of the vehicle body structure.

Abstract: A beverage vending machine installation comprising a cabinet and a trolley unit, the cabinet defining a void in which, in use, the trolley unit can be positioned. The cabinet has an opening and at least one door moveable between open and closed positions. A trolley unit comprises at least one beverage vending machine. The trolley unit is moveable relative to the cabinet between an installed position and an uninstalled position. In the installed position the trolley unit is positioned within the void of the cabinet such that at least one door may be closed to allow operation of the vending machine installation. In the uninstalled position, the trolley unit is removed from the cabinet after opening at least one door to allow access to the trolley unit.

Abstract: In some illustrative embodiments, a method for the mobile sale of sleeping devices includes: loading display sleeping devices upon a vehicle; driving said vehicle to a consumer; selectively presenting a plurality of said display sleeping devices to said consumer in a display area, whereby said consumer can lay upon said plurality of display sleeping devices to test the same; collecting information from said consumer regarding at least one desired one of said sleeping devices for purchase. In addition, various embodiments are also disclosed that pertain to the selling of furniture or the like items, such as, e.g., sleeping devices, sitting devices and/or the like. Among other things, some embodiments can be used for facilitating the delivery of various goods to consumers.

Abstract: A mobile camping facility is disclosed including a housing mounted over a top surface of a substantially rigid base plate, wherein the base plate is mounted on a bed of a trailer. The bed of the trailer is supported by a pair of wheels. The housing supports a countertop surface and includes a cover portion adapted for covering the countertop surface. A sink and a stove are operably mounted through the countertop surface. A fuel source is operably connected to the stove and separated from the stove by the countertop surface. A water source, mounted on either the base plate or on the trailer, is operably connected to the sink. A method for constructing a mobile camping facility is also described.
