The floor panel (20) is a reversible floorboard having a first surface (22) and a second surface (24) that is opposite to the first surface (22). This first surface (22) has a fabric covering (26) attached thereon. Additionally, the second surface (24) has at least one mounting device (28, 34, 36) integrated thereon for securing an item to the floor panel (20). The floor panel (20) also includes at least one fastener (54, 60) for selectively coupling the panel (20) to the floor pan (16) of the automotive vehicle (12) thereby permitting access to either the first surface (22) or the second surface (24) of the floor panel (20).

Abstract: An apparatus for storing items within vehicle compartments includes a base disposed on or within a vehicle compartment floor and having a surface that is exposed to the vehicle compartment when the apparatus is in an operative position. A rear panel is pivotally attached to the base and is movable between a closed position overlying the base surface and an open position substantially normal to the base surface. A pair or partition panels are pivotally attached to the base surface in adjacent spaced apart relationship and are movable between a closed position in face-to-face relation with the base and an open position substantially transverse to the base surface and the rear panel. A handle is connected to the pair of partitions panels that is configured to be grasped by a user to move the partition panels in tandem from the closed position to the open position.

Abstract: A protective mat assembly for preventing undesirable contact between a person and an exterior surface of a vehicle when accessing the vehicle's cargo area as well as protecting the interior cargo space when carrying dirty objects. A folding mat is conveniently stowed in and deployed from its own storage compartment housed in the vehicle's cargo area. The mat can be easily moved between three positions, depending upon the intended use of the vehicle cargo area. In a fully stowed position, the mat is housed substantially within the storage compartment and is out of the way, enabling use of the vehicle cargo area by passengers or to carry relatively clean and large items such as luggage. In a first operative position, the mat is deployed from its storage compartment and extends out through a vehicle opening, draping over the opening as well as adjacent exterior surfaces of the vehicle such as a bumper or sill.

Abstract: An adjustable cargo system comprising a pair of hinged panels which move from a flat cover position providing maximum flat storage for the rear area of a vehicle to multiple additional positions to expose storage bins therebelow to provide storage behind and/or enclose the otherwise open area of the vehicle for security. In a preferred embodiment, such panels include a hinge extending between the panels with the forward most panel being hingedly coupled to a vehicle. The end of one of the panels includes a latch such that the panels can be locked in different positions. In one embodiment, left and right side pairs of first and second panels are provided.

The internal compartment has a lid pivotally secured to an upper portion of the support structure and moves between a first position and a second position. The lid covers the internal compartment when the lid is in the first position and the lid has an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion is pivotally secured to the lower portion for movement between the first position and the second position. The upper portion and the lower portion define a surface area for changing a child's diaper when the upper portion is in the second position. The internal compartment provides a plurality of storage areas for products necessary to facilitate the changing of the child's diaper.

Abstract: A cargo management system of this invention includes a deep well storage area beneath a cargo floor, which well may be horizontally and/or vertically divided and which preferably includes a plurality of doors to access the well. In the illustrated embodiment, the management system also includes a panel which may be placed into three positions: a first storage position in which the panel is flush against the back of the rear seat; a second shelf position in which the panel is horizontal and spaced from the cargo floor by a first distance; and a third privacy shield position in which the panel is also horizontal but is spaced from the cargo floor a second distance, the second distance exceeding the first distance.

Each arm portion includes a circular arc shape gear and a rotary gear disposed in a center of the circular arc of the gear. The base member includes a first fixed gear portion with internal teeth engaging the circular arc shape gear portion, and a second fixed gear portion disposed inside the first fixed gear engaging the rotary gear. The arm portion is held to move vertically through engagements between the first fixed gear portion and the circular arc shape gear portion and between the rotary gear and the second fixed gear portion, so that the door member is shifted along a path corresponding to the first fixed gear portion.

A pair of support rails are adapted to support the removable console and to allow sliding movement of the removable console on the support of rails. The removable console includes support surfaces extending outward from opposing sides of the removable console which are adapted to engage the support rails to support the removable console on the support rails. The removable console further includes at least one latching mechanism for securing the removable console to the support rails.

The cargo bin liner includes a central cup-shaped member and a pair of wings that extend outwardly from opposite ends of the cup-shaped wall. The wings include a base wall, forward wall, a rearward wall, and an end wall. The forward and rearward walls are spaced apart a distance that closely corresponds to a width dimension of the tonneau cover received therebetween such that the tonneau cover is snugly fitted against unintended horizontal movement. The end wall includes mounting members that engage terminal ends of the tonneau cover and prevent unintended vertical and horizontal movement of the tonneau cover. The cargo bin liner has a cargo bin lid pivotally secured thereto, and provides engagement surfaces to vertically support the lid when the lid is in a closed position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for transporting objects in a vehicle. The device consists of an essentially trough-shaped holding container. The aim of the invention is to make the device more secure and more user-friendly. To this end, the holding container consists of a frame-type fixing part which can be fixed inside the vehicle, and at least one part-container which can be removed from the fixing part to form an access opening in the area of a part for accommodating a spare wheel on the vehicle side.

The lid covers the internal compartment when the lid is in the first position and the lid has an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion is pivotally secured to the lower portion for movement between the first position and the second position. The upper portion and the lower portion define a surface area for changing a child's diaper when the upper portion is in the second position. The internal compartment provides a plurality of storage areas for products necessary to facilitate the changing of the child's diaper.
