The lid can be selectively placed in a closed state and an opened state with respect to the front panel such that the lid conceals the storage space from the rear cargo space when the lid is in the closed state, and the storage space is opened to the rear cargo space when the lid is in opened state.

Abstract: A storage system for a tire repair kit for a vehicle can be located at the front end of a rear cargo space of the vehicle. The storage system can include a front panel and a lid. The front panel can be located at the front end of the rear cargo space and include an outer surface facing the rear cargo space and a storage space recessed from the outer surface. The storage space can be configured to contain the tire repair kit. The outer wall forms the outer dimension of the main body and the inner wall forms the storage compartment and the fueling compartment. The second support surface is located below and closer to a front of the vehicle than the first support surface to support a second end of the second board and to restrict the second end from sliding toward the front when the second floor covering is in a folded position.

Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment, a seating system for a vehicle includes an occupant seat, a bin housing, and a bracket panel. The bin housing forms a cavity in which items may be stored beneath the occupant seat, and includes a bin surface forming a recess having a first section and a second section. The bracket panel is coupled between the occupant seat and the bin housing, and includes an installation plate having a panel surface, and a “T” shaped bracket that extends from the panel surface and is configured to be inserted into the first section and the second section of the recess during installation. The table body is configured to substantially fit within the recess. An amenity compartment may also be coupled to the seat back above the tray table assembly and may be configured to also substantially fit within the recess. The amenity compartment may be a bezel or an upper literature pocket. A latching mechanism releasably engages the tray table assembly with the amenity compartment. The amenity compartment may be coupled to the seat back via a hook that engages a slotted bracket on the seat back and projections that engage receptacles on the seat back. A protective covering may be inserted between the seat back and the amenity compartment and coupled to the seat back without additional fasteners. The protective covering may be a full shroud, a partial shroud, or a dress cover.

The seat can be configured to selectively articulate from a deployed position to a stowed position where the seat can be received in a vehicle stowage recess. Pivotably raising the cover can automatically begin articulation of the seat from the deployed position to the stowed position. The floor panel can be in spaced relation to the floor when the seat is in the deployed position and can automatically move to a position in engagement with the floor to provide a flat load floor configuration when the seat is in the stowed position.

A floor is defined by a deck and compartment lids that overlie the floor pan and can provide a waterproof seal for the storage compartments. The deck and compartment lids together define a substantially flat surface that is covered by a vehicle carpet. The deck can include basket-like liners extending downwardly therefrom that nest within the storage compartments and define the inner surface(s) of usable spaces within the storage compartments. The deck includes a raceway system with one or more troughs or ports that house lengths of vehicle wiring, under the deck surface. The deck can further include flanges and/or tabs for serving as mounting substrates, against which sills and other hard trim components are mounted, allowing trim components to be mounted to the deck and not mounted directly to the vehicle body.

A bay is provided in the dash panel including a holder for capturing the attachment tab.
