    Abstract: An overhead console assembly includes: a storage member positioned at a front of an interior roof within a vehicle compartment and having an opening which faces downwards; a lid member rotatably supported by the storage member for opening and closing the opening of the storage member so that a rear side thereof appears from and retracts into the storage member; a mirror provided on the lid member at a position where the rear side of the lid member appears to view; and retaining means retaining the lid member in a position halfway through the rotation of the lid member where the mirror reflects view of rear seats in the vehicle compartment.
