Abstract: An adjustable fully upholstered chaize recliner is provided. The chaize comprises a stationary outer frame coupled to a platform. The platform is configured to move between a first position and a second position while the outer frame remains stationary. A cushion is coupled to the platform and is fully upholstered to the platform such that a cover material encloses the cushion and the platform. Movement of the platform causes one or more bending portions of the cushion to bend. The chaize further comprises one or more cords, each extending through the cushion with a first end coupled to the cover material and a second end coupled to the platform. The cords are configured to pull on the cover material such that movement of the platform from the first position to the second position does not result in bunching of the cover material near the bending portions of the cushion.

Abstract: A headrest associated with a seating position on a vehicle may be provided and the seating position may have a seat portion and a back portion. The headrest may include a rest portion configured for laterally and/or vertically supporting the head of a user seated in the seating position. The headrest may also include a support portion including a riser with a translucent material and the support portion may be configured for spaced apart and lateral support of the rest portion relative to the back portion of the seating position. The support portion may include a light source arranged to illuminate the support portion by directing light through the translucent material.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a seat base and a folding seat back pivotally connected to the seat base. The folding seat back includes at least one of a contoured rear surface for retaining a child lying thereon when the seat back is folded onto the seat base in a fold-down position and a hinged panel pivotally attached to a rear side of the seat back that is moveable to an open position wherein an inner side of the hinged panel faces upward to provide an extended support surface for a child lying on the rear side of the seat back.

Abstract: A convertible chair includes a base frame, a seat connected to the base frame through first, second, and third legs, a back support connected to the seat via first and second support arms, and at least one hinge assembly interconnecting the chair components. A user can pivot the back support between an upright chair position and a lowered table position wherein an upper surface of the seat and a back side surface of the back support form an essentially planar table surface. At least one locking mechanism can be utilized to selectively lock the back support in the upright position. Additionally, the chair can be folded into an essentially flat storage position. A table leaf is also provided to fit between two adjacent convertible chairs in the table position, to produce an extended table configuration.

Abstract: Disclosed is a cushion table structure of a passenger seat for a vehicle, which includes a seat back and a seat cushion, the structure comprising: (a) a division rotating part which is a divided portion of the seat cushion and has a rotatable structure; (b) a fixed type table and a sliding type table which are coupled to a bottom surface of the division rotating part; and (c) a tray which is disposed in an empty space which is generated when the division rotating part rotates in a forward direction.

Abstract: A bucket seat fold out diaper changing table located within a vehicle. The table provides a surface for use while changing the diaper or clothing of an infant or for other activities and objects that require a surface area. The table is configured as a plastic molded seat back of a bucket seat. The table includes a surface member that provides a surface area, a first open end and a second open end. A first panel and a second panel are arranged within the surface member. The first panel slides out of the first open end of the surface member and retracts back into the surface member via the first open end. The second panel slides out of the second open end of the surface member and retracts back into the surface member via the second open end. The first panel and the second panel are used to provide additional surface area for facilitating the changing of an infant or other activity requiring table surface area.

Abstract: A convertible hassock has a base whose walls enclose a storage area, a flat lid which covers the storage area, and at least one seat which is hinged to one of the walls. The seat can be pivoted from an outboard position resting on top of the lid, to an outboard position substantially coplanar with the lid. The seat is supported, in its open position, either by a cantilever construction or by a prop which engages the floor. The seat has a cushioned side and a flat panel side. The cushion is uppermost when the seat is folded inward, to provide a hassock function, and the panel side is uppermost when the seat is folded outward, providing an extended table surface. While the seats are folded outward, the lid can be raised to permit access to the storage area beneath.
