Abstract: A creeper for accessing cabinets includes a first end and a second end. The creeper includes a base support structure having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of side walls extending between the top surface and the bottom surface. The base support structure also includes a cabinet entry first end that is shaped and dimensioned for positioning within a cabinet and an exposed second end that is shaped and dimensioned to sit outside of the cabinet when cabinet entry first end of the creeper is positioned within the cabinet for use. A downwardly extending leg assembly is secured along the bottom surface of the base support structure. The cabinet creeper may be used for accessing a cabinet or as a seat with the user sitting directly upon the downwardly extending leg assembly.

Abstract: A bench includes a main frame (10), a sitting surface (11) and a backrest (12) which are each supported by the main frame. A sitting surface section (13) and a backrest section (14) are formed separately from the subregions (15, 16) of the sitting surface (11) and backrest (12). The sitting surface section (13) is pivotably connected to the backrest section (14) and can be lifted off from the main frame (10) and, by pivoting the backrest section (14) can be lifted out together with the backrest section (14) in a horizontal section (14) in a horizontal position at a distance from the sitting surface (11) of the seating furniture, forming an elongate arrangement of the backrest section (14) and sitting surface section (13).

Abstract: The present invention is a convertible multifunction overbed table and chair, or more specifically, the present invention is a medical furnishing that serves as an adjustable overbed table in a first configuration and a wheeled transport chair in a second configuration. The present invention may also serve as a medical staff work station, provide storage of patient records and medical charts, storage for the patient's personal effects, personal mirror, IV stand, catheter bag stand, secure storage for portable oxygen, and serve as a patient walker.

Abstract: A furniture item (102) convertible between a chair and a table. It has two panels (104, 106) hinged together and moveable between: —a chair configuration, in which one panel (104) provides a seat and the other panel (106) provides a backrest, and—a table configuration, in which the panels form a table top. A moveable support member (114) is rotatable between a stowed position beneath one panel (104) when in the chair configuration to a raised position in which the moveable support member (114) provides support to the underside of one panel (104) and support to the hinge (105).

Abstract: A furniture assembly maneuverable from a first position to a second position has a first seat portion having a channel formed in an end thereof, a second seat portion positioned below the first seat portion, a first back portion positioned adjacent the end of the first seat portion, and a second back portion having a front surface positioned adjacent a back surface of the first back portion when in the first position. The second seat portion has legs extending from a bottom surface thereof adjacent a side thereof. The second seat portion has legs extending from the bottom surface thereof adjacent an opposite side thereof. The first back portion has keyholes on the back surface thereof. The second back portion has mushrooms on the front surface thereof. The mushrooms are removably placed in the keyholes when the first position.

Abstract: A passenger seat assembly and method for converting the seat assembly between a three-seat configuration and a two-seat configuration includes a seat assembly base and first, second, and third seats mounted on the seat assembly base. The first and third seats define outboard seats and the second seat defines an inboard seat disposed between the outboard seats. The seat back of the inboard seat includes an upper portion movably mounted to the lower portion. The seat bottom is removable and repositionable between the three-seat configuration and the two-seat configuration to form a convenience area between the outboard seats. A power console movably mounted on the seat assembly base supports the seat bottom of the inboard seat and provides at least one power outlet for supplying electrical power. In particular, the inboard seat is convertible between a seating configuration and a non-seating configuration.

Abstract: A multifunctional chair comprises a base adapted to rest on the ground; a support frame including a seat part and a backrest part pivotally attached to the seat part; a leg frame supporting the support frame and including a rear leg having a first end pivotally connected to the backrest part and a second end pivotally connected to the base; and a power-operated telescopic device including a telescopic member pivotally connected to the seat part and being operable to maintain the seat part at a level lower than said backrest in a normal position providing a chair function, or to move the seat part to a first raised position in which the seat part together with the backrest part are placed in a substantially horizontal position, or to a second raised position in which the seat part together with the backrest part are inclined at substantially the same inclining angle.

Abstract: Modular convertible furniture systems include a pair of similar open-ended box frame assemblies which are nestable one within the other. A pair of slotted support rails are attached pivotally at respective opposing corners of one of the box frame assemblies so as to be movable between raised and lowered positions. When in a raised position, the rails provide a support for a solid board plank thereby becoming a seat back (e.g., for a chair, love seat, or sofa-type arrangement). When the rails are in a lowered position substantially parallel to the ground, the two box frame assemblies may be oriented back-to-back so as to provide a support for a mattress thereby converting the structure into a bed arrangement, for example. The box frame assemblies can be positioned on different sides and ends thereby allowing formation of tables and/or shelving as may be desired.

Abstract: A convertible table and support characterized by a support which is pivotally mounted on a support frame and may be reversibly pivoted from an upright sitting position resting on the support frame to an inverted position adjacent to the support frame to define a bench and table combination. The support is characterized by a seat which rests on the support frame when the support is in the upright sitting position with a backrest extending upwardly from the rear edge of the seat. A pivoting arm extends from each side of the seat adjacent to the front edge thereof and is pivotally mounted between respective support frame arms extending upwardly from the support frame. When the support is in the inverted or table position, the horizontally-oriented seat is supported by the support frame and the backrest and functions as a table top, while the support frame defines a bench. In a preferred embodiment an armrest is provided on each side of the support between the backrest and seat.

Abstract: A combination chaise lounge and massage table is easily and quickly convertible from one configuration into the other. A hollow pedestal provides the support for the lounge and the table and a storage space for the miscellaneous attachments that are used with the combination article of furniture. In the chaise lounge configuration, a plurality of elongate bias members that end in handles are removably mounted to the front end of the lounge and to the seat back so that numerous exercises may be performed. The seat and seat back of the lounge are hingedly mounted to one another and the seat back is hingedly mounted to the pedestal to enable facile positioning of the seat and seat back in a common plane. One end of the pedestal is elevated with respect to the other end so that the massage table is inclined from the horizontal to enhance its beneficial aspects.

Abstract: A folding furniture piece is convertible to either a seat or a table. In addition, the furniture piece is foldable to a compact unit for storage and transport. The furniture piece includes a pair of arms which are supported by two pairs of legs, which pivot against the arms to fold the furniture piece. Bottom and back panels are pivoted between the arms to form a table when coplanar with one another and a seat when oblique to one another.
