Abstract: A parcel securing assembly includes a box that is positionable on a horizontal support surface proximate an entrance to a building. The box has a delivery opening therein for receiving a delivered parcel. A door is hingedly coupled to the box and the door is aligned with the delivery opening for opening and closing the delivery opening. A locking unit is coupled to the box, and the locking unit is operationally coupled to the door. The locking unit is urgeable into a locked condition when the door is opened such that the locking unit locks the door when the door is subsequently closed. In this way the locking unit secures the delivered parcel in the box until an authorized user unlocks the locking unit.

Abstract: A parcel storage bench assembly for securing a delivered parcel for an authorized user includes a bench that is positionable proximate a parcel delivery location of a building. The bench has a storage compartment integrated therein for receiving a parcel. Moreover, the bench has a lid thereon for opening and closing the storage compartment. A combination lock is coupled to the bench and the combination lock engaging the lid when the lid is closed. Thus, the combination lock secures the parcel in the bench. A pre-determined code is selectively entered into the combination lock by an authorized user thereby facilitating the authorized user to open the lid and remove the parcel from the bench.

Abstract: A chair including a dynamically-flexible back and seat having a shape that adjusts to the movements of a user seated in the chair to enhance user comfort. Each of the back and seat has an air gap formed therewithin and a resilient frame or liner with a spring memory. The resilient liner is adapted to flex in response to compressive forces that are generated as the user slides his body back or from side-to-side in the chair. Accordingly, some of the chair back and some of the chair seat move into respective air gaps so that the shapes of the back and seat change to conform to the movements of the user. The air gaps also establish air flow ventilation channels which run laterally through the back and seat of the chair.

Abstract: A bench includes a main frame (10), a sitting surface (11) and a backrest (12) which are each supported by the main frame. A sitting surface section (13) and a backrest section (14) are formed separately from the subregions (15, 16) of the sitting surface (11) and backrest (12). The sitting surface section (13) is pivotably connected to the backrest section (14) and can be lifted off from the main frame (10) and, by pivoting the backrest section (14) can be lifted out together with the backrest section (14) in a horizontal section (14) in a horizontal position at a distance from the sitting surface (11) of the seating furniture, forming an elongate arrangement of the backrest section (14) and sitting surface section (13).

Abstract: This invention provides an improved, economical layout for passenger aircraft or other vehicle, including two level convertible sleeping accommodation for passengers at night, and a safety harness for each sleeping person. For day the sleeping accommodation are converted back to an one level, regular seating arrangement.

Abstract: A convertible chair and walker assembly for providing additional support for persons with limited mobility. The convertible chair and walker assembly includes a frame assembly, a plurality of wheels coupled to the frame assembly adapted for facilitating the movement of the frame assembly and a seat assembly pivotally coupled to the frame assembly which is adapted to being selectively positioned with respect to the frame assembly in multiple positions including an adult seat position, a child seat position, a walking position, and a tray position.

Abstract: A convertible work station composed of chair and desk sections which are separated from each other in an active mode of the station and are combined in a storage mode to form a compact cube having square faces. The chair section is defined by a seat mounted between parallel front and rear side panels bridged by a square end panel to form an alcove, the rear side panel also being square and the front side panel being half square. The desk section is defined by a square desk top mounted on an L-shaped base formed by a square rear side panel hinged to the square rear panel of the chair section, and a half-square end panel.

Abstract: A convertible table and support characterized by a support which is pivotally mounted on a support frame and may be reversibly pivoted from an upright sitting position resting on the support frame to an inverted position adjacent to the support frame to define a bench and table combination. The support is characterized by a seat which rests on the support frame when the support is in the upright sitting position with a backrest extending upwardly from the rear edge of the seat. A pivoting arm extends from each side of the seat adjacent to the front edge thereof and is pivotally mounted between respective support frame arms extending upwardly from the support frame. When the support is in the inverted or table position, the horizontally-oriented seat is supported by the support frame and the backrest and functions as a table top, while the support frame defines a bench. In a preferred embodiment an armrest is provided on each side of the support between the backrest and seat.

Abstract: A multi-purpose galley assembly for use on boats, recreational vehicles, trailers, camper trailers, and the like. The galley assembly has an upright base with cabinets below and a kitchen unit, including a stove and range in the upper portion thereof. A pair of seats are hingedly mounted on the lateral outer edges of the upright base. The seats substantially cover said sink and said range, and the back portions of the seats are in back to back relationship, while the assembly is in the first position. The seats may be pivoted outwardly and downwardly in such a way that the seat portions of the seats define work surfaces which are positioned laterally of the kitchen unit while the back portions support the seat portions in the substantially horizontal position when the seat portions are being used as work surfaces.

Abstract: A piece of furniture in which two side walls are joined to respective spaced edges of a back wall extending in a common direction so as to define a channel, and a partition perpendicular to the back and side walls bisects the channel, may constitute a chair for a child when the partition is horizontal to provide a seat, or a table when the piece rests on one of the side walls. Two such pieces can be interengaged to form an approximately cube-shaped hassock if each partition is partly slotted to receive the partition of the other piece.
