Abstract: A T-link hinge for hingeably connecting first and second members comprises a link portion having a T-shaped cross-section including a top region and a bottom region, wherein the top region has a width greater than a width of the bottom region. The link portion comprises first and second thru holes formed in the bottom region of the link portion adjacent each the respective first and second ends of the link portion. Each of the first and second members to which the link portion is to be mounted includes thru holes. In an assembled configuration of the link portion and the first and second members, the thru holes formed on the first and second members axially align with the pair of thru holes in the link portion and are connected by first and second pins.

Abstract: A portable multiple grill assembly includes a trailer that is towed behind a vehicle. A fire pit is coupled to the trailer for containing an open flame. A plurality of cooking grills is each coupled to the trailer. A table is coupled to and extends outwardly from the plurality of cooking grills. A plurality of chair units is each slidably coupled to the trailer. Each of the chair units is slidable into a deployed position to have a user sit thereon. A venting unit is coupled to the trailer to vent smoke from cooking grills thereby inhibiting the user from being exposed to the smoke. A display is coupled to the trailer and the display is elevated above the fire pit and the cooking grills to be visible to the user when the user is seated on the one of the chair units.

Abstract: A portable workstation can be folded so as to be readily portable as a cane, and has a seat portion and a table/tray portion for holding a book, electronic device, or lunch box, among other things. The workstation has a main leg pivotably connected to a pair of legs. An umbrella can be connected to the workstation in the folded condition of the workstation, and can be opened and adjustably positioned in the unfolded condition of the workstation. While outside, a user may need protection from the elements, such as from the sun, rain, sleet, or even snow, and can deploy the umbrella. Additionally, the umbrella can serve to prevent glare from electronic devices by shielding them from direct sunlight. A flashlight assembly can be plugged into the cane handle in a fixed orientation to provide light to the workstation table/tray when turned on.

Abstract: A swingable and pivotable seating system includes a base portion, a swing arm, a seat and a control system. The swing arm is pivotable about a generally vertical first pivot axis and has a first end pivotally mounted at the base portion and a second end opposite the first end. The seat is pivotally supported at or near the second end of the swing arm and pivotable about a generally vertical second pivot axis. The control system controls pivotal movement of the seat about the second pivot axis responsive to a degree of pivoting of the swing arm about the first pivot axis. The seating system may include a desk portion, and the control system may limit pivotal movement of the seat when the seat is near the desk portion and may allow greater pivotal movement of the seat when the seat is swung away from the desk portion.

Abstract: A portable table and seating combination is disclosed. The combination includes at least a first portion of a hinge attached to a tabletop portion. The tabletop portion includes at least a top surface, and a plurality of edge portions extending from the top surface. The top surface in combination with the plurality of edge portions forms a seating confinement compartment. The combination further includes at least a retractable leg support attached to the tabletop portion. The retractable leg support resides adjacent the seating confinement compartment, and in an extended position the retractable leg support, supports the tabletop portion at a predetermined distance above a surface. The combination also includes at least a seating portion configured for confinement within the seating confinement compartment. In a first embodiment, the seating portion is an integrated seating portion. In an alternate embodiment, the seating portion is a freestanding seating portion.

One end of the front leg is attached to an underside region which is underside of the seating face of the seat body, in such a manner that the one end of the front leg is capable of being rotated in relation to the seat body. One end of the rear leg is rotatably attached to the seat body at a position closer to a backrest side than a position at which the one end of the front leg is attached. The leg receiver is arranged on a floor surface. The respective other ends of the front leg and the rear leg are rotatably attached to the leg receiver.

Abstract: A protective shroud for a swing arm includes a housing made of two shroud sections that are snapped together around the base of a fixed seating arrangement. The assembled shroud includes two rectangular openings on its sides configured to allow the swing arms of the fixed seating arrangement to pivot on their axes within the shroud. The rectangular openings also include grooves on their upper and lower edges configured to receive a slidable rectangular shield member with a circular opening in its center. The rectangular shields fit over the opposed swing arms and slide within the grooves in the shroud halves as the swing arms pivot, thereby restricting access to the pinch points of the swing arms.

A frame mounts to an underside of the tabletop and includes risers and laterally extending portions. Casters or wheels mount to the frame and provide for easy rolling transport of the table and seating arrangement. Seating assemblies having two stools mount to the framework on linkages that provide for moving the seats from a use position with the seats extended beyond the edge of the tabletops and engaging the ground to a storage position wherein the seats are raised and retracted to be inward from the edges of the tabletop.
