The second tray includes a second tray body and at least one sliding latch slidably disposed on the second tray body, the second tray body being detachably combined with the first tray body by the at least one sliding latch.

Abstract: The invention relates to a delordosation device for users of a rehabilitation appliance, in particular for the verticalization of a sit/stand exercise machine or a wheel chair with a seating area and support aids for a user, the seating area supported in a swiveling manner swiveling for verticalization. To avoid hyperlordosis while patients with a restricted mobility are being straightened up in rehabilitation measures or a verticalization in a sit/stand exercise machine 1 or wheel chair, it is provided that the seating area is supported in a swiveling manner, and at least a portion of the seating area is mounted in a movable manner. Thus, a pelvis rotation can be initiated during verticalization, whereby hyperlordosis is avoided.

Abstract: A computer accessory tray assembly adapted for mounting to a chair. The tray assembly includes individual left and right mouse trays mounted by horizontal arms to respective arms of the chair. A keyboard tray is engageable with the left and right mouse trays to prevent lateral movement of the keyboard tray, but allows the keyboard tray to be lifted up from engagement with both mouse trays and moved out of the entry/exit position of the chair so that the user can have access to the chair. When removed from engagement from both mouse trays, the keyboard tray can be stowed by hanging it from either of the mouse trays. The mouse trays are adjustable vertically, forwards and backwards, and can be titled to provide ergonomic access to a mouse resting on either mouse tray.

Abstract: A latch mechanism for child's high chair tray assembly having a tray post and socket mounting arrangement has a central, front actuation button that moves a slide link mounted underneath the tray assembly. The slide link is connected to an actuation arm slidably mounted within each respective tray post. The actuation arm includes a cam surface that pivots a latch member having a rectangular lock pin that extends below the tray post into engagement with openings in the socket receiving the tray post. The latch member is spring loaded into engagement with the socket openings. The front surface of the arm rests are sloped to cam the lock pin into the tray post to permit a passive mounting of the tray onto the high chair, but the lock pin engages the first socket opening to require a non-passive manipulation to affect positional adjustment or removal from the high chair.

Abstract: A children's high chair comprises a supporting frame (11,111) for a high chair (12,112) for receiving the child. The frame (11,111) comprises in turn a pair of legs (14,15) openable compasswise and with lower ends (19,119) for resting on the ground and stiffening crosspieces (20,120) arranged on both sides of the frame and movable between a non-operational position allowing closing of the frame and an operational position in which the crosspieces engage the legs to hold them steadily in open position. The crosspieces (20,120) can be moved to another more lowered operational position to rest on the ground to constitute high chair rocking members. Advantageously an automatic battery-powered mechanical rocking device can be provided.

A second arm of the tray includes a multiple connection assembly which couples with a fastener assembly to affix the tray in the utilization position and couples with the ball knob assembly to affix the tray in the storage position.

The table top includes foldable sections held together by a magnetic retaining device until the sections are separated by the user.

Abstract: Herein disclosed is an improved seat having a detachable tray member which is formed with spaced outward flanges. The seat comprises a seat cushion, a seatback mounted on the seat cushion and a pair of armrest units respectively mounted to both sides of the seatback. At least one part of each unit is formed at its inboard side with a straight groove. The parts of the paired armrest units are moved, when the units assume one given condition, to a position behind the seatback to hold the tray member having the outward flanges received in the grooves.

Abstract: A seat for securing a juvenile in a vehicle includes a seat for a juvenile occupant, a barrier positionable in front of the seat to limit forward movement of the occupant, a pivotal coupling between the barrier and the seat to permit hinged movement of the barrier relative to the seat, and a self-locking latch mechanism. The self-locking latch mechanism, when engaged, prohibits movement of the barrier in a first direction relative to the seat portion to limit forward movement of the occupant and permits movement of the barrier in a second direction relative to the seat to permit adjustment of the position of the barrier relative to the occupant placed in the seat. The latch mechanism is positioned intermediate the pivotal coupling and the barrier and can include an adjustable detent for variably positioning the barrier in one of a plurality of spaced relationships relative to the seat to accommodate occupants of various sizes.

Abstract: A desk assembly for mounting to and carrying by a wheelchair or the like in the location of a conventional armrest is disclosed. The desk assembly extends across the lap of the user of the wheelchair in a deployed position, folds to a relatively compact condition, and is pivotally movable to a stored position located where a conventional armrest would be provided. The desk assembly is further formed for selective locking of the desk top in various sloped orientations and movement of the desk top toward or away from the user. A reading lamp is also provided for the desk assembly.

Abstract: A combined wheelchair and tray assembly wherein a foldable tray is hingeably mounted on one arm of the wheelchair in such manner as to permit the tray to be swung away from the occupant of the wheelchair to permit entrance and egress therefrom and wherein the tray may be stored in folded position besides the chair so that the occupant of the wheelchair has convenient access to the drive wheel and brake of said wheelchair.
