Abstract: A unitary dining unit combining table functions and seating, which dining unit solves the above stated problems, is disclosed. The novel dining unit may be oblong, with opposed convex surfaces, to enable occupants to easily view one another, and to assist in fitting the table or desk efficiently within a square or rectangular room of a building. The unitary dining unit integrates a work surface, e.g., a table or desk surface, with seating. The integrated seating has support arms connecting the seating to the table portion, and maintaining all portions of each seat above the floor, thereby leaving space for and facilitating floor cleaning in the area of the furniture. A perimetric wall serves as an aesthetic skirt concealing seat anchorage elements and other utilitarian components from external view.

Abstract: An activities unit combining a table or other horizontal surface with seating units is shown and described. Seating units may include both permanent or fixed individual seating units and also, at least one additional seating unit movable between a stowed position to a deployed position. Both permanent or fixed seating units and also stowable seating units may each be supported on the activities unit by an arm above floor level. This enables ready cleaning of a floor surface on which the unitized table is placed without having to move seating units out of the way. Construction of the unitized table enables utilitarian components and features which may be deemed unsightly to be concealed, for example, by wood paneling both at a table top and also a depending wall. The table top may overhang the depending wall.

Abstract: A swing comprising an adult seat and a child seat, said two seats connected together via a common frame and arranged such that the two seats face each other. The common frame comprises a rigid frame, said rigid frame having a first portion, a middle portion and a second portion, said middle portion being arranged between the first and second portions. The swing is arranged to be suspended from the first portion. The adult seat is attached to the second portion. The child seat is attached to the middle portion. In this way a simple construction is provided which is safe and easy to use for both adults and children.

Abstract: A seating attachment for a vehicle trailer hitch features two metal bars, the main shaft and the cross member, each with a square cross section and capable of fitting into a standard vehicle trailer hitch mount. The main shaft and cross member are welded together in a “T” configuration. At the ends of the cross member, two seats mounted; the seats may optionally be positioned to face directly backward or be angled inward to face one another. Swivel-mounted seats are also contemplated. Additional mounting points are provided for a table top, an umbrella, beverage coolers, or other equipment. The height of the seats may be raised or lowered relative to the trailer hitch height by an angle piece in order to reach a comfortable sitting level.

Abstract: A console for aircraft that is located between two seats which face each other. The console includes an open ledge with a cup holder arrangement. The cup holder arrangement includes two removable holder dividers which can be flipped up or down and held into position by a spring-loaded cam arrangement. The console also includes two inwardly facing surfaces which provide connectors for electronic devices resting on the ledge. A light-emitting face is provided on a back wall of the ledge so that any articles resting on the ledge can be seen in dark environments.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosed technology comprise a device for transporting picnic tables. A transporting apparatus that connects to a hitch of a vehicle that is specifically designed to hold a foldable picnic table. The picnic table further comprising condiment shelves, wheels and side tables.

Abstract: There is provided a reconfigurable furniture assembly having a substantially planar surface member movable about a horizontal axis in an endless manner, a support member holding the substantially planar surface over the ground surface, and a plurality of assigned location around the planar surface member for individuals to occupy and face a portion of the planar surface member. A drive element moves the planar surface member and assigned locations about a horizontal axis.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a table and a bench movably coupled to the table. The table and the bench collectively have a first configuration and a second configuration. The table has a first width when the table and the bench are in the first configuration. The table and the bench collectively have a first height when the table and the bench are in the first configuration. The second width is less than half of the first width, and the second height is less than half of the first width.

Abstract: A rolling table and seating system includes a first assembly folding between a first position with the first assembly forming a seat bottom, and a second storage position. A second assembly moves between a first position with the second assembly forming a table and a second position at which the second assembly forms a seat back complementary to the seat bottom. A frame has laterally spaced apart first and second upright frame portions, the first upright frame portion supporting the first assembly and the second upright frame portion supporting the second assembly. A lower frame portion extends laterally outward including a first lateral portion extending toward a first side beyond the first upright frame portion, and a second lateral portion extending toward a second side beyond the second upright frame portion. First linkages fold the first assembly and include a leg supporting the seat bottom at the first position, and lift and pivot the leg at the second storage position.

The support member may also include a first aperture within the recess that extends through to the second surface. A brace may be positioned to support the support member. The brace may include a second aperture that aligns with the first aperture. A fastener that includes a head and an outwardly-extending neck may attach the support member and brace together. The head may seat within the recess and the neck may extend through the first and second apertures. One or more spacers may be positioned along the neck to position the head relative to the support member. A thickness of the head may be less than a depth of the recess such that a surface of the head is flush with the first surface of the support member or positioned within the recess below the first surface of the support member.

Abstract: An infant activity device is disclosed which includes a tray mounted on a vertical elevation member to support the tray in a horizontal orientation above a support surface. The tray has two openings for two seats to supporting an infant and allow the infants to sit above the support surface to allow their legs to engage the support surface. The seats are positioned a predetermined distance away from each other to impede an infant is sitting in the first seat from reaching the head or torso of a second infant sitting in the second seat.

There are preferably a pair of leg supports for supporting the lower surface of the table top with each leg support having a ground engaging portion generally transverse to the longitudinal axis of the table top and a ground engaging portion generally parallel to the table top and extending laterally outwardly terminating in an upright seat supporting surface. The seat structure is about of the same length as the table top and mounted to the seat support surface. The ends of the table are open to allow accessibility to wheelchairs.
