The tray is affixed against the rear face of the seatback and is held against the face by a locking mechanism including an actuating member, and a pressure exerted on the actuating member releases the tray such that the tray can be removed from the seatback.

A seat plate installed above said support leg includes an upper seat, a lower cover and a coupler into which the crossbar is rotatably inserted. The seat plate rotates between a vertical position and a horizontal position. A back installed above a rear side of the seat plate is capable of tilting forward and rearward with tilting means. A desk installed above a side of the support leg includes an upper plate with an attachment member on its bottom. The upper plate may swing between an upper position and a lower position within an angle range.

Abstract: A tray table for use with a passenger seat of a transportation vehicle is provided. The tray table may be moveable between a deployed position and a stowed position relative to a seat. The tray table may include a storage compartment for storing belongings of a passenger. A lid may be provided for covering an opening of the storage compartment. A portion of the lid may be transparent such that contents of the storage compartment may be readily viewed by a passenger when the tray table is in the deployed position. A portion of a storage compartment bottom may be transparent such that contents of the storage compartment may be readily viewed by a passenger when the tray table is in the stowed position. The tray table may have any number of storage compartments and a single lid or multiple lids may be used to cover the storage compartment openings.

The seating row has a seat back that is pivotally connected to a vehicle body. A battery is disposed within the storage compartment. A tray is provided with a forward end that is pivotally connected to the seat back, and a rearward end that is supported slidably on the vehicle body. The tray is movable in a fore-and-aft direction as the seat back pivots on the vehicle body between a collapsed position and an upright position. The tray is disposed over the seat back and the battery when the seat back is in the collapsed position for providing a raised platform that extends into the passenger compartment.

One end of the front leg is attached to an underside region which is underside of the seating face of the seat body, in such a manner that the one end of the front leg is capable of being rotated in relation to the seat body. One end of the rear leg is rotatably attached to the seat body at a position closer to a backrest side than a position at which the one end of the front leg is attached. The leg receiver is arranged on a floor surface. The respective other ends of the front leg and the rear leg are rotatably attached to the leg receiver.

Abstract: A bucket seat fold out diaper changing table located within a vehicle. The table provides a surface for use while changing the diaper or clothing of an infant or for other activities and objects that require a surface area. The table is configured as a plastic molded seat back of a bucket seat. The table includes a surface member that provides a surface area, a first open end and a second open end. A first panel and a second panel are arranged within the surface member. The first panel slides out of the first open end of the surface member and retracts back into the surface member via the first open end. The second panel slides out of the second open end of the surface member and retracts back into the surface member via the second open end. The first panel and the second panel are used to provide additional surface area for facilitating the changing of an infant or other activity requiring table surface area.

Abstract: A dental treatment chair including a seat, a backrest tiltably attached to the seat, and a drive means for tilting the backrest. The chair includes a unit table which stays horizontal and moves and up and down as the backrest tilts, and the table is further connected to the backrest by a longitudinal shaft and a support shaft so that it can freely rotate in a horizontal plane. By means of this structure, an operator can take a position convenient to access treatment tools and to take a position opposite to the unit table in response to each tilting phase of the backrest.

Abstract: Improved constructions for mounting seat back tray tables to the frames of vehicle seats permit the tables to be quickly removed and replaced by authorized persons without the use of tools. Small studs on each side of the seat pivotally support apertures in the lower ends of the tray table legs. The legs may be deflected toward each other to release their mounting engagement with the studs but means are provided to prevent such release by unauthorized persons. In one embodiment, release can only be accomplished when the seat back is in its forward "break-over" position. In such position, the legs can be lifted so that a frame-mounted stud having a cylindrical end interrupted by a pair of opposed flats will pass from a small opening in the leg through a slot narrower than the small opening to a larger opening. In a second embodiment, a torsion tube joining the leg ends has a spring-loaded pin and slot connection to one leg so that the leg can be slightly axially retracted along the tube to accomplish release.

Abstract: A reclinable-seat and foldable-table assembly comprises a seat having a backrest pivotable about a horizontal axis from an upright position to a reclining position, and a table pivotable with the backrest from its upright position to its reclining position. The table is further movable from a folded non-operative position against the rear side of the backrest to an open operative position for use by the occupier of the seat to the rear of the backrest. The assembly further includes blocking means effective, when the table is moved to its open operative position, to block the backrest from being pivoted to its reclining position.

Abstract: A vehicle seat with a pivotable backrest connected arrestably with the seat part in selectable positioning, the backrest carrying at least one seat accessory part. As a seat accessory part - carrier at least on one of the sides of the backrest a parallelogram is provided with two connecting rods extending in the longitudinal direction of the back. The parallelogram comprises a first connecting rod which is a part of the pillow carrier of the backrest, which part is pivotal about the pivot axis of the backrest, and a second connecting rod which on the one hand is articulated at an unchangeable position relative to the pivot axis of the backrest and on the other hand is articulated to a connection part of the parallelogram which in turn is pivotally connected with the first connecting rod. The seat accessory part which is to be carried is supported at least in its position of use on both connecting rods pivotal relative to the latter.
