Abstract: The invention relates to an aircraft passenger seat, comprising a frame intended to be fastened to a floor of an aircraft passenger cabin, a seat base movably mounted on the frame, and a movably mounted seat back. The aircraft passenger seat is characterized in that at least one rail is fastened to the frame and in that the seat base is slidably arranged on the rail by means of guide elements.

Abstract: A temporary shelter is configured to accommodate a human user. The temporary shelter includes a solid floor joined to a canopy housing with a support structure. A plurality of solid floor cavities is arranged in the solid floor. A plurality of canopy walls is joined to the canopy housing, and adjacent to the solid floor, and the support structure. A chair fits into the plurality of solid floor cavities. The human user can be accommodated within the support structure on the chair.

Abstract: A system for generating a vibration of a seat of a vehicle in sync with music outputted from an audio device using an electric motor included in the seat to adjust the seat in forward and backward directions and upward and downward directions includes: an electric-motor multiple-control circuit configured to receive a signal of a seat position adjustment switch and a signal of an audio switch, generate a driving current required to vibrate the seat, and output the driving current to an electric motor. The electric motor receives a signal from the electric-motor multiple-control circuit and generates a motor torque while being driven, and the generated motor torque is transferred to the seat to generate a target vibration in the seat.

Abstract: A folding chair includes front and rear supports that fold and/or retract into central beams to reduce the space occupied by the chair in a folded configuration. A backrest is coupled to the central beams with a hub that allows an angle of the backrest relative to the central beams to be selected and for the backrest to be folded flat relative to the central beams. One or more actuators and pin actuators may control the relative movements of the backrest, front support, rear support, and central beams.

Abstract: A vehicle mounted printer station is made up of a printer secured to a support surface tray that includes an adaptor capable of attaching the tray and printer to the top of a vehicle seat. The support surface is preferably a rectangular shaped plate with front, back and side edges along with top and bottom surfaces. The bottom surface is attached to the adaptor, the adaptor includes at least one attachment rod for securing the support surface to the vehicle seat. The attachment rods are sized to be received into receptacles provided in the top of a vehicle seat designed for the vehicle headrest.

In certain embodiments, the panel retracts and expands telescopically, while in other embodiments the panel may be pleated or rolled around a core. This arrangement creates a portable device that can be used in a variety of settings, such as public buses, trains, airplanes, classrooms, and testing centers. The device can be free-standing and may not need to be physically attached to any structure, and thus provides a seat and a privacy/sensory barrier from others.

More specifically, a lounge chair is configured to open either manually or with aid of gas or air shocks in certain embodiments to reveal a changing room and/or bathroom space. On opening, a header bracket is released and deployed, in certain embodiments with aid of gas or air shocks, whereby the privacy curtain's substantially opaque and lightweight fabric is deployed around the revealed space.

The divider comprises a primary partition wall member that extends upwardly from cabin floor level and that is positioned facing said first seating arrangement and a secondary partition wall member that extends from divider contiguous portions of a seat of said second kind positioned in said second class. The seat of said second kind bridges space between the secondary partition wall member and the cabin floor.

The child holding accessory can be detachably installed on the infant carrier apparatus, supported by the backrest frame and the handle assembly. In one embodiment, the child holding accessory includes a support bracket and an enclosure. For installing the child holding accessory, the backrest frame is adjusted to a position inclined forward. Individual and multi-occupant chairs provide a sling chair having a number of pivoting frame pieces that are trained through grommets at a fabric seat and backrest. An independently collapsible shelter or cover framework includes frame pieces that pivot under tension about the collapsible chair. Washer-like members splay the frame pieces away from the chair. The shelter framework supports a surrounding, collapsible fabric cover that can include windows, panel voids and/or doors and/or vents. The chair, shelter framework and fabric cover are organized to collapse and deploy to conditions that partially and completely cover the chair. The fabric cover can be constructed of netting and/or solid and/or three-dimensional fabric panels containing sleeves and pockets to support resiliently bowed stays.

One assembly provides a sling chair having a number of frame pieces that are trained through grommets at a fabric seat and backrest fitted to pivot couplers. Abstract: A collapsible sunshade shelter encloses a child safety seat. A pair of side walls each have a side shade fabric attached to a frame perimeter and a top shade fabric between the frames. The frames each comprise a flexible tension member normally in a frame configuration but adapted for collapsing by twisting and folding into concentric smaller frames. A tie pulls in the front bottom edges while stretching out the top edges of the frames. Inwardly angled back extensions of the side frames are pushed inward by the vehicle seatback to push out the top front frame edges. A top frame may be inserted between the side panels to maintain the panels apart. A front shade panel may be attached by zippers or hook and loop fasteners. Loop-type fabric around the frames receive hook patches from the front panel to hold it open in any desired position.

Abstract: A reclining seat for use in a vehicle is provided with a back shell at least partially surrounding the back so that between a first upright position and a second reclined position the back shell is capable of independent positioning relative to said back cushion, whereby privacy may be enhanced by the position of the back shell. Preferably, the armrest is selectively moveable from above the seating surface to a position approximately level with the seating surface, and most preferably there is also at least one shoulder privacy panel selectively extendible within an area between the seating surface and the back shell. In certain preferred embodiments the back shell has a range of pivot of about 15 degrees between a first position and a second position. In another aspect of the present invention, a video monitor is integrated into the back shell, preferably independently tiltable from a fist position to a second position, most preferably within a range of tilt of approximately 25-degrees.

Abstract: A seating system for use at a dining facility, such as a restaurant or ballroom, includes a plurality of movable seating units, a power supply grid, a computerized controller, and an illuminating path for directing arriving parties to available seating units. Each of the seating units includes an integral booth style seat and table supported on a base with a rechargeable battery and motor driven wheels on a bottom of the base. A wireless communication system provides communication between the controller and each of the seating units. An extendable member on each seating unit connects to the power grid via outlets in a ceiling structure to provide electric power for recharging the battery. The seating units may further be provided with a self-contained air conditioning and heating system and a touch responsive computer screen on the table top for displaying a menu, wherein patrons may place food and beverage orders by touching indicators on the screen.

Abstract: A sleeper seating unit for an aircraft, and including a primary seat having a seat frame for being stationarily-mounted to the aircraft deck, a seat back for being selectively moved by a seat occupant among fully upright, semi-reclined and fully reclined positions, a scat bottom for moving between retracted and extended positions in coordination with the seat back, and an ottoman for being positioned on the deck forward of the primary seat. The ottoman has a top cushion positioned on a top surface thereof and a leg rest cushion positioned on a side of the ottoman facing the primary seat. The leg rest cushion is movable between positions wherein when the primary seat is in an upright position, the leg rest cushion is positioned at an angle to engage and support the bottom of the feet, and when the primary seat is in a reclined position, the leg rest cushion is in a generally horizontal position adjacent to and forming an extension of the seat bottom.

Abstract: An assembly mountable to the transom of a watercraft, such as a pontoon boat, provides an easy-to-set up, temporarily deployable, changing room or privacy region on watercraft which do not carry an enclosed cabin. A generally Z-shaped frame is rotatably attached to a portion of the boat displaced from the deck. A boater's seat is attached on one side of the frame. A generally U-shaped curtain hoop is rotatably attached to a second side of the frame. When the bracket and seat are rotated toward the deck, the hoop is positioned in a stored position. When the bracket and seat are rotated away from the deck, the hoop can be deployed from its stored position thereby extending an enclosure fabric forming, temporarily, an enclosed privacy region for changing and the like. The fabric support member can be springloaded as can the bracket. Stowing the assembly is easily carried out by pressing the fabric support element against the bottom of the seat. This draws the fabric back against the seat.

Abstract: A protective cover against insects for babies' and toddlers' enclosures such as cribs, playpens, strollers and the like includes an unstructured tubular body portion and an unstructured dome-shaped hood, both made of insect netting material which “breathes” and is transparent. The tubular body at its upper edge and the hood at its periphery each have a stretchable band or fastener that reduces the effective dimensions of the body edge and hood periphery so that the body may be drawn downwardly over the enclosure and be held in place by the reduced dimension of the edge and the hood is drawn downwardly over the top of the enclosure and its periphery overlaps the top edge of the body portion.
