Abstract: To utilize limited space in a vehicle cabin, a vehicular under-seat compartment mechanism includes a hinge mechanism, a compartment and a lock mechanism. The hinge mechanism interconnects a seat-frame and a seat-cushion in such a manner that the seat-cushion is pivotally rotatable with respect to the seat-frame. The compartment is disposed in the under-seat space under the seat and is formed an opening upwardly. The lock mechanism, integrated with the hinge mechanism, locks the seat-cushion at an upright position, at which the seat-cushion is pivotally flipped up about the hinge mechanism so that the compartment is accessible.

Abstract: Furniture capable of being assembled in one way to produce a step stool and in another way to produce a kneeler. The furniture includes a base unit and a lid releasably secured to the base unit to produce the step stool or to produce the kneeler. The furniture includes an armrest and a connecting member. The kneeler is configured for use alongside a bathtub.

Abstract: A storage bin for use in extended cab pickup trucks having a rear seating area. The storage bin is an opened topped rectangular box, with a removable divider that is specifically designed to fit in the space beneath the rear seat the extended cab pickup truck. The use of the storage bin allows the owner of the extended cab pickup truck to store valuable items, such as electronics gear or guns in a secure manner that is out of sight from individuals on the outside of the vehicle.

Abstract: A foldable wall supported seat that is rested against a wall at one end and may be used as a seat or to support decorative items. The supported seat has a pair of leg assemblies, a pair of U brackets, a seat surface, and a wall bumper. The leg assemblies are pivotally attached to the seat in order to allow the legs to be stowed beneath and parallel to the seat and lowered, perpendicular to the seat when the seat is in use. When the legs are lowered, the wall bumper is pressed against the wall to support a user thereupon.

Abstract: A seat assembly for mounting on a vehicle floor includes a seat bottom and at least one panel movably attached to the seat bottom. The panel is movable between a storage position adjacent the seat bottom, and a deployed position extending outwardly from the seat bottom such that the panel is in a generally horizontal position to form a flat load floor above the vehicle floor.

Abstract: A locking claw of a first seat locking mechanism is connected to a locking claw of a second seat locking mechanism by a second wire through a relay member so that, when the first seat locking mechanism is locked by an external force such as pressing down a seat by hand, the second seat locking mechanism is locked in conjunction with the first seat locking mechanism. The locking operations for a plurality of the first and second seat locking mechanisms can be carried out collectively and easily. In addition, locking of the plurality of lock members can be carried out assuredly without being influenced by dimensional variations, variations in assembly of a first and second U-shaped fixtures and the first and second seat locking mechanisms, by stiffness of the seat or the like. Therefore, repeated closing of the seat as in the case of the prior art where either one of a plurality of lock members fails to lock can be obviated, and convenience to use of the seat can be enhanced.

The chair back and seat are relatively movable to form the sitting surface and the sleeping surface. Abstract: A seat assembly for an automotive vehicle having a floor includes a seat frame secured to the floor of the automotive vehicle. A tray structure is secured to the seat frame. The tray structure includes a bin designed to have items stored therein. A seat cushion is divided into a number of cushion members wherein a portion of the cushion members are immovable with respect to the tray structure and a portion of the cushion members are movable with respect to the tray structure. The movable cushion members provide access to the bin in the tray structure. The movable cushion members pivot about a hinge with respect to the immovable cushion members. By maintaining the immovable cushion members in place, an occupant can still sit on the immovable cushion members while accessing the bin by pivoting the movable cushion members.

Abstract: A chair has a chair frame, and a seat plate mounted on the chair frame. The seat plate has hole that is wider at the front than at the rear. The chair further includes a container mounted below the hole, and a cushion positioned above the seat plate. The cushion has an opening that is aligned with the hole, with the opening being wider at the rear than at the front. The chair also includes a lid that is fitted inside the opening and supported by portions of the seat plate.

Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a console pivotally mounted on a seat back and a booster seat movable between a stowed positioned and an upright position. The seat includes a seat bottom having first and second portions which define a generally horizontal seating surface. A console is selectively disposed in a recess formed in one of the first and second portions. A first side of the console defines a console seating surface. The console is pivotable between a first position, wherein the console seating surface is generally co-planar with the seating surface of the first and second portions, and a second position, wherein the console is pivoted outwardly from a front edge exposing the second side of the console. A second recess is formed in the seating surface of the seat bottom between the front and rear edges to define a second rear support area located between the rear edge and the second recess.

Abstract: A cooler is provided with an integrated seat and a reclinable seat back formed by one cover used to close the cooler. Drinks and foods may be stored and maintain fresh and cool in the cooler. On top of the cover, a second cover is provided, which becomes the upper cover of a conventional cooler. The first cover that is used to close the cooler serves also as the seat when closed. The upper or second cover of the cooler serves as the seat back when opened at a 90 degree angle or higher. Two leashes, one on each side, maintain the seat back in the desired position. Such seat back can vary from 0 to 180 degrees. When opened at a greater angle than 130 degrees, the seat back is supported by a pair of legs located on the external surface of the second cover of the cooler, attached by one of their ends to such cover but free on the other end and attached only by pressure to such cover. The legs are capable of opening to a 90 degree angle with respect to their original position.
