Abstract: A reconfigurable cup holder assembly for a vehicle comprises: (i) a base structure, and (ii) a cup holder portion pivotably coupled to the base structure about a pivot axis, the cup holder portion comprising a first cup holder and a second cup holder, each of the first cup holder and the second cup holder defining a space configured to hold a container for liquid, and the cup holder portion is pivotable about the pivot axis to, from, and between a first position relative to the base structure and a second position relative to the base structure; wherein, the pivot axis extends through the space of the first cup holder. The second cup holder can pivot greater than or equal to 75 degrees about the pivot axis when the cup holder portion moves from the first position to the second position.

Abstract: A vehicle console assembly includes a body that defines a cutout. The cut out includes a contact surface. A lid is operably coupled to the body and includes a connector that defines an engagement member. The lid is operable between a raised position, a lowered position, and an intermediate engaging position therebetween defined by a predefined opening angle. The engagement member is space-apart from the context surface when the lid is in the lowered position and engages the contact surface when the lid is in the intermediate engaging position. A biasing member is disposed proximate the connector. A hinge pin extends through the cutout, the biasing member, and the engagement member.

Abstract: A vehicle console assembly with a hinge assembly includes a console body, an armrest lid, and a pivotable hinge assembly. The console body includes first and second spring arm engagement portions and a pair of slots. The armrest lid includes an armrest lid engagement portion. The pivotable hinge assembly includes a double torsion spring with a center linkage bar that extends outward between a pair of helical coil portions and between first and second hook locking features. The pivotable hinge assembly includes a hinge pin that extends through the pair of helical torsion coil portions of the double torsion spring to connect the pivotable hinge assembly to the console body.

Abstract: A vehicle floor console assembly includes a console body including a bin integrally formed with the console body, and a support structure integrally formed with the console body and extending from a rear wall of the bin. The support structure includes a support hinge knuckle. The vehicle floor console assembly further includes a lid including a lid hinge knuckle rotatably coupled to the support hinge knuckle, and an end panel coupled to the support structure. A front portion of the end panel together with the console body defines an end panel interface. The end panel interface is substantially flush with the rear wall of the bin.

Abstract: An armrest assembly includes an armrest and a lid mounted on the armrest for relative rotational movement between a closed and open positions. The lid includes a handle cradle with handle guides on opposed sides and an intermediate inner guide. A handle is located in the handle cradle for relative movement between a latch position and a release position. The handle includes a latch. The latch retains the lid in the closed position when the handle is in the latch position. The handle includes a clip that engages a slot on the lid to retain the handle in the handle cradle. The handle also includes guide channels on opposed sides. The guide channels engage the handle guides. The handle includes an intermediate inner guide space. The inner guide space engages the inner guide. The armrest assembly also includes a spring that biases the handle into the latch position.

Abstract: Slide assemblies for motor vehicles are provided. In one example, a slide assembly for a motor vehicle includes a first member and a second member that is slidingly coupled with the first member. A first leaf spring device is disposed between the first and second members for facilitating relative sliding movement between the first and second members. The first leaf spring device includes a raised contact portion that slidingly interfaces with one of the first and second members during the relative sliding movement.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electrical connector assembly which comprises: a mounting frame having a connector mounting space and at least one mating opening; a protective cover which can cover and latch with and uncover the mounting frame and comprises an outer cover made of a hard material and an inner cover made of a soft material, an inner surface of the outer cover is engaged with an outer surface of the inner cover, the protective cover is further provided with a strap, the strap connects with the mounting frame so as to allow the protective cover to move between an open position and a close position; and at least one connector having a connector mating portion, the connector is received and fixed in the connector mounting space, and the connector mating portion is exposed via the mating opening. The protective cover of the electrical connector assembly of the present disclosure has the advantage of being easy to operate, feel good and beautiful in appearance.

The armrest member may be linearly movable relative to the base member between a first position and a second position. The mechanism may be associated with the armrest member and may be movable between an engaged configuration restricting linear movement of the armrest member relative to the base member and a disengaged configuration allowing linear movement of the armrest member relative to the base member. The biasing member may bias the armrest member in a linear direction from the second position toward the first position.

Abstract: A seat for a vehicle includes a seat pan, where the seat pan front edge defines a first pivot point and the seat pan rear edge defines a second pivot point, a backrest articulately disposed adjacent to the seat pan rear edge, a headrest articulately disposed adjacent to the backrest top edge, and two armrests positioned adjacent lateral sides of the seat pan. The armrests define top surfaces that are disposed a predetermined height above the seat pan top surface. The seat is configurable into at least one of a taxi, takeoff and landing position, a napping position, and a sleeping position. The first pivot point remains in a substantially fixed position for the taxi, takeoff and landing position, the napping position, and the sleeping position. The predetermined height varies for each of the taxi, takeoff and landing position, the napping position, and the sleeping position.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a sofa-bed combination, having an inflatable air mattress, rather than a foam or spring mattress. A bed base would pull out from beneath the frame of the couch. Contained on or within the bed base would be an inflatable bladder forming a mattress. Contained within an arm of the sofa would be an inflatable bladder forming an air mattress. The sofa-bed features an electric air pump, which would rapidly inflate and deflate the mattress for use or stowage.

Abstract: A chair, such as, e.g., an easy chair or, a recliner, may include a compartment, a tray, or both. The compartment may have an open position and a closed position and may include a panel configured for a specific purpose. For example, the panel may include a cup holder, a storage slot, and an outlet. The outlet may include a power outlet, a USB port, an ethernet port, or the like. The tray may rotate about a shaft and/or an arm of the chair so that does not pose a nuisance to a user of the chair. Abstract: A chair for use during wade fishing in order to allow the user to sit above the water line has a director's chair with four feet, two forwardly located and two rearwardly located. Extensions are threadably removed within receivers attached to each foot, the extensions having pointed ends that are received within the sandy bottom below the water line. Steps are located just below the feet to help a user get into the chair. Weight distribution disks are frictionally held on the extensions to prevent undue sinking of the chair. Pouches, both mesh and waterproof, are attached to the arm rests and the seat of the chair. A rod holder is receivable within an opening on the arm rest. A receiver is attached to the frame of an upper portion of the chair to hold an umbrella.

The latch lock out assembly also comprises a generally cylindrically shaped blocking member arranged on an end of the body. The blocking member will be used to block the disengagement of a latch from a locking surface when the armrest is in a generally vertical or seat back position but flex or bend to a secondary or disengaged position when the armrest is in a generally horizontal position within the vehicle.

It is proposed that a lightweight supporting frame having side wall structures and at least one crossmember structure is provided as the load-bearing structure of the holding receptacle, with a box-shaped insert containing the storage space being held by the supporting frame.

Hinge shaft is coaxially aligned to the first and second fixed gears at lower ends of the first rotating member of the first body and the second rotating member of the second body. A pair of springs is wound around both outer surfaces of the hinge shaft and provides a resilient force to the first and second bodies. A support plate is mounted at a rear space of a second stage tray.

Abstract: A sliding arm-rest console assembly for a vehicle includes a console and a storage bin disposed within the console to allow objects to be stored therein. The assembly includes a stowage door pivotally connected to the console for opening and closing the storage bin in an open position and a closed position. The assembly further includes a sliding arm-rest disposed over the stowage door to slide between a retracted position over the stowage door and an extended position extending forward past the stowage door. A slide guide cooperates with the stowage door to latch the stowage door to the console in the closed position and cooperates with the sliding arm-rest to guide movement of the sliding arm-rest along the stowage door between the retracted position and the extended position when the stowage door is in the closed position.

The storage section is formed of side surfaces, a back surface and an inner bottom surface to define an inside thereof, and includes guide grooves formed along both protruded rim portions at both sides of the storage section. A shutter is bendable in a sliding direction and attached to the guide grooves. The shutter is formed of a main body bendable at a plurality of thin walled portions, and a plurality of projections provided at both sides of the main body to be fitted in the guide grooves. Each projection is disposed lower than the main body to have a step therebetween.
