Abstract: A portable table system for mounting within a vehicle to provide a workspace within the vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle has a passenger side and a driver's side, and the system is mounted on the passenger side of the vehicle. The portable table system includes a base plate, a lower portion of a support post attached to the base plate, a bracket attached to an upper portion the support post, and a pair of parallel rails attached to the bracket offset from the support post. The portable tables system further includes a table attached on top of the pair of parallel extension slide rails and a drawer including a first portion having a second table and a second portion having a compartment. The drawer is slidably attached beneath the table such the elongated drawer moves between a first position and a second position.

Abstract: A boat seat mounting stand includes a sleeve member, an accessory member, an angular brace, and a horizontal brace for attaching an umbrella or other accessory to a typical pedestal mount boat seat. The sleeve member and the accessory member include adjustment handle configurations for securing to the pedestal mount and for securing an umbrella. The boat seat mounting stand provides for support and rotation of the attached umbrella around the boat seat.

Abstract: A method for mixing a fluid includes: dispensing a first volume of a fluid into a flexible container, the flexible container being at least partially disposed within the chamber of a support housing; repeatedly moving the support housing and the flexible container contained therein so as to mix the first volume of fluid within the flexible container; adding further fluid into the flexible container after moving the support housing to form a second volume of fluid; and manipulating a mixing element within the flexible container so as to mix the second volume of fluid.

Abstract: A mount apparatus for a wheelchair is disclosed which is capable of transformation between an original form and a modified form. In the original form, a bearing member is released or otherwise disposed so that the mount apparatus exhibits substantially minimal projection in the direction of the outer lateral extents of the wheelchair. In the modified form, the bearing member is maintained in a projected disposition to enable load-bearing by the mount apparatus.

Abstract: A seat blocking system can comprise a seat. The seat can include a seat understructure and an overlying seating surface. The seat understructure can form a seat base and a seatback arranged in a seating configuration. The seating surface can be configured to morph between a sittable shape, in which the seating surface is coextensive with the seat understructure, and an unsittable shape, in which the seating surface is expanded over at least a portion of the seat understructure. The seat blocking system can include a seat blocker. The seat blocker can be integrated with the seat. The seat blocker can be operable to morph between a deactivated state, whereby the seat blocker leaves the seat understructure to impart the sittable shape to the seating surface, and an activated state, in which the seat blocker acts on the seating surface to impart the unsittable shape to the seating surface.

Abstract: A stowable computer workstation (“SCW”) for a workplace within a vehicle is described, where the workplace has an inner sidewall of the vehicle. The SCW may include a video display mount assembly and a deployment support attached to the video display mount assembly. The deployment support is configured to deploy and stow the video display mount assembly against the inner sidewall and the deployment support is secured to the inner sidewall.

Abstract: A monitor mounting device that allows more flexibility and support for large-format, thin, flat, touchscreen monitors. This mount offers the solution to use these monitors as the computer interface, along with a standard keyboard and mouse platform mounted below for more traditional input options. The flexible height and tilt controls combined with the constantly-level keyboard tray provide an improved, comfortable balance between large-format, touch computing and traditional work station configurations. Abstract: A storage assembly for use with a chair. The chair has a seat supported by a framework such as one or more legs. The storage assembly includes at least one storage unit, preferably a plurality of storage units, each having at least one storage feature, such as a recess, drawer, hook, container or case. The storage assembly is attachable to the seat or the supportive framework of the chair below the seat of the chair, and does not protrude substantially therefrom. In an embodiment with a plurality of shelves, the shelves are connected to a support structure such as a pair of side walls. One or more leg attachments operably couple the assembly to one or more chair legs. For example, a leg attachment may connect a wall to a leg. As each shelf is connected to the wall, the leg attachment couples the shelf to the leg, via the wall. The leg attachment may be a pivoting, telescopic arm with a clamp, a belt, snap fit, integrally molded or other suitable connector.

Abstract: A deployment system for user interface devices with enhanced interface capabilities and methods for manufacturing and using same. The deployment system includes a main rotating joint system and a device mounting assembly that are coupled via an extension support system. The main rotating joint system enables the deployment system to be installed at any suitable installation location, such as an armrest; whereas, the device mounting assembly is configured to receive a selected user interface device. Advantageously, the deployment system provides an enlarged internal channel for accommodating larger communication cables and a progressive clutch system for supporting the increased weight of the user interface devices. The deployment system thereby can maintain near-constant tension during deployment of the user interface devices, inhibiting drop injuries to users and damage to the user interface devices.

Abstract: A stadium seat cup holder for use with a stadium seat having an upper seating panel and multiple other panels includes a bracket that is configured to form an attachment to a stadium seat wherein the bracket affixes to one or more seat panels of the stadium seat. At least one recess on the bracket receives a panel of the stadium seat. A cup holder is preferably movably mounted to the bracket, wherein the cup holder is movable between extended and retracted positions. In the extended position, the cup holder is placed in front of the stadium seat. In the retracted position, the cup holder is placed under the stadium seat. Fittings on the apparatus enable support of other optional items, such as a drink bottle, trash bag, and/or shaker.

Abstract: A patient support device for use in patients undergoing spinal or epidural procedures while seated on a standard labor and delivery, operating room or other table or bed is described. An exemplary embodiment of the device includes an upper body support tray and a foot support tray which are independently adjustable along the length of an extendable pole assembly. The pole also connects to a base which provides a stable support and slides under the bulky support bases which are a part of modern hospital beds used in labor and delivery and operating rooms.

Abstract: A portable gun rest that will provide a sturdy, and fully adjustable gun rest support for hunters or target shooters. This includes a fully adjustable and padded gun rest cradle, adjustable gun rest arm, and padded seat in which all can rotate three hundred sixty degrees as a single unit, and which has a backrest for comfort and support. The portable gun rest can be folded into a compact unit, and be transported to any location by being attached and worn around a hunter or target shooter's waist. This invention is also well suited for scopes, and cameras and other equipment.

Abstract: A seating arrangement in which a modular seat/console that moves between a first space between front seats, an intermediate position, and a second space between rear seats. The seat/console may function as a seat in the second space, or in the intermediate position. The front wall is displaceable toward the back wall to a pushed-in position in which the side walls are folded and lie between the front and back walls and the front and back walls meet.

Abstract: A device and method is provided for retaining cargo within a vehicle passenger compartment including a retaining portion and a vehicle seat having a lower seat portion, an upper back portion, and a frame. The retaining portion comprises a strap or mat which is operatively attached at one end to a front portion of the vehicle seat, while the other end is accessible within a bite line formed between the mating seat and back portions. The retaining portion is connectable to a front portion of the vehicle seat by means of either an open-ended hook or a snap-hook and an anchor, or by a snap fastener, the retaining portion being configured to secure cargo with respect to one of the seat portions. The device also includes a retractor mechanism such as a spring and spool operable to retract the retaining portion into the bite line for stowage.

Abstract: The invention is a multi-function mobile stool that attaches includes a bucket with a seat attached via a lanyard. The invention includes a wheeled base that includes a rotating storage container that surrounds the location where the bucket is situated upon the base. The bucket may be removed and carried off via a handle. The cushion may be removed from the top of the bucket and allowed to dangle to the side via the lanyard.

Abstract: A medical examination table is provided. The medical examination table comprises a base providing a storage area, a patient support movable independent of the base between a lowered position and a raised position, and a lift mechanism coupled to the patient support for moving the patient support between the lowered position and the raised position. The patient support comprises a backrest and a seat. Movement of the patient support independent or separately from the base and without interfering with the storage areas within the base may allow for the efficient use of the examination table as a storage area.

Abstract: A passenger seat for a vehicle includes a seat bottom and a seat back mounted to a frame. The passenger seat includes at least one storage feature. One of the storage features may be a storage unit positioned underneath the seat bottom which is moveable between a first position in which the unit is readily accessible by a seated passenger, and a second position in which the unit is held upright or against a lower side of the seat bottom to reduce the intrusion of the unit into the under-seat space. Abstract: A pop-up display suitable for use in a seat back of an occupant seat, such as but not limited to those employed within vehicles to carry vehicle occupants. The display being configured to pop-up from the seat back in response to mechanical and/or electrical stimulation. The mechanical actuation optionally being localized relative to the display such that the occupant may be required to be in reach of the display in order to impart the mechanical stimulation. The electrical actuation optionally being imparted with electrical signals communicated thereto by a switch or vehicle controller such that the display may be ejected without being in reach of the same.

Abstract: A fishing chair mounts directly in the sandy bottom of a relatively shallow surf. A vacuum pump pulls a base pole down into the sand to form a sturdy foundation, even in rough surf conditions. A seat assembly is mounted at the upper end of the base pole. The chair mount may be fabricated from composite materials or plastic, such as PVC, to prevent corrosion. The chair mount is also provided with a foot rest or step that is braced against the base pole. The surf fishing chair is positioned above the waves under normal surf conditions, but also withstands larger wave impacts while safely supporting a fisherman in the seat structure.
