Abstract: A car seat storage providing an area of space for storage of loose items within a vehicle. The car seat storage system has a bottom panel connected to two side panels and a front panel. A tuck strip is an extension of the bottom panel, and is used to secure the bottom panel to space between the seat back and the seat bottom. Additional straps and hooks are used to secure the storage system to the seat. The front panel overhangs the front edge of the seat. The front panel is a padded or reinforced panel which presses against the front of the seat edge in the event of an abrupt stopping of the vehicle. The force exerted against the front panel in response assists in maintaining the front panel in an upright position. The seat storage system is configurable to join two seat storage systems in a expanded configuration.

Abstract: A combination toolbox and seating assembly is provided. The toolbox seating assembly is installed in the bed of a pickup truck, wherein the toolbox includes a hinged lid, and wherein a bench style seat may be stored within the lid of the toolbox when not in use, and may be positioned within the upper portion of the toolbox when in use to provide comfortable rearward seating within the bed of the truck.

Abstract: A portable chair with ice chest assembly operative to interconnect with one another to create an easily-accessible beverage display, for use in display and marketing purposes, sporting events, and the like, and thereafter be collapsed to assume a space-efficient and easily transportable device. The portable chair comprises a foldable chair member operative to transition from a compact configuration to an open configuration defining supporting legs, a back rest and a seating portion. An expandable ice chest member is operative to be received upon the seating area defined by the portable chair and further preferably includes a lid member that can engage with the back rest of the portable chair. A covering may further be provided to extend about the assembled portable chair with ice chest thereon to create a compact, aesthetically pleasing beverage display.

Abstract: The present invention provides removable bed, mattress, and seat wraps with integrated storage compartments. Advantageously, these removable bed, mattress, and seat wraps allow a user to place pockets and other storage compartments of and in a wide variety of configurations where they are desired with respect to a bed, mattress, seat, or the like, and remove these pockets and other storage compartments quickly and easily when desired. For example, the removable bed, mattress, and seat wraps of the present invention may be used in conjunction with the headboard of a bed, a mattress, a box spring, a home seat, a vehicle seat, a boat seat, or virtually any other suitable structure, stationary or mobile.

Abstract: An apparatus that facilitates storage of items for convenient access while in bed is provided. The apparatus offers a new and improved way to address the special needs of this type storage by utilizing a foam body portion having a variety of specially designed cavities therein. The body is held in place using a fastener and paddle arrangement. The caddy can rest atop a mattress, and therefore does not interfere with a person getting into or leaving the bed.

Abstract: A storage system stores and easily locates common items, such as reading glasses, remote controls, cell phones, magazines, books, and the like, while a person is in a room or in bed. In an emergency, a person may be able to easily locate these items. The storage system may replace a cluttered nightstand and may provide immediate location of necessary items. The storage system may include a pillow that may span a length of a bed, along the head end of a mattress. The pillow may prevent people, such as children or infants, and items from falling between the head of the mattress and either the wall or headboard. The pillow may also provide an elevated surface to prop up a user's pillow for reading or watching television.

Abstract: A knock down furniture system is presented. The furniture uses joints which bend or twist a panel when inserted into an adjoining panel to place the joint under stress and stiffen the joint. Preferably, tabs are used in combination with offset or rotated slots to achieve the same. The system allows for furniture which does not require fasteners or tools and which is easily assembled while still being stable. Parts of the furniture can be interchanged within a piece of furniture or between different pieces of furniture to customize the configuration of the furniture.

Abstract: There is provided a seat cover for accommodating a child safety chair upon a seat. The seat cover comprises a lower protective member which is disposable upon a seating portion of the seat. This lower member can accommodate the child safety chair when positioned in a rearward-facing direction to prevent it from permanently compressing the seating portion. The seat cover further comprises an upper protective member that is disposable against a seat-back portion of the seat. This upper member is selectively attachable with and detachable from the lower member. By doing so, the upper member can further prevent the chair from permanently compressing the seat-back portion when it is repositioned in a forward-facing direction and placed in contact therewith.

Abstract: A system and method for supporting articles is generally provided for use, with a seat, such as a child's safety seat or stroller, having a seat surface and at least one restraining member that extends outwardly from the seat surface. The system may be provided with a support member having one or more pocket members for holding the articles. An aperture may be formed through the support member through which the restraining member may be passed to limit movement of the support member across the seat surface when the system is placed on the seat. In one aspect, the pocket members may at least partially depend from one or more side portions of the seat, with or without the use of a support member.

Abstract: A child seat assembly for use on a vehicle seat includes a seat portion, a base and a backrest. The seat portion is adapted to be supported on the vehicle seat and includes a cavity. The base is disposed at least partially within the cavity of the seat portion. The seat portion is operatively coupled to the base for selective sliding movement of the seat portion in a longitudinal direction relative to the base. The backrest is coupled to the seat portion and pivots about an axis extending in a lateral direction in response to the sliding movement of the seat portion relative to the base.

Abstract: A system for adjustably positioning an accessory may include a track and an accessory removably coupled to the track. The track may include an upper portion and a lower portion defining a channel therebetween. The upper portion may include an upper flexible segment extending along a length of the channel wherein the upper flexible segment is outwardly and inwardly deformable with respect to the channel. The accessory may include at least one connector extending from the accessory, the connector being removably insertable into the channel of the track by deforming the upper flexible segment with respect to the channel, the at least one connector including a substantially horizontal portion and a substantially vertical portion wherein, when the connector is inserted in the track, the substantially vertical portion of the connector secures the accessory to the track.

Abstract: An organizer and utility apparatus that can be attached to a chair comprises a generally horizontal elongate support which can be in the form of a tube or channeled block. The elongate support has one or more holder attachments that can be joined in a permanent fashion or mutually engaged and disengaged and located according to user preference. The elongate support can be supported directly on a desk, or with an attachable generally vertical support, supported above a floor or desk; Or with such attachable vertical support, engaged to a chair that has a chair attachment mechanism. If the organizer is either freestanding or attached to a chair, it can be converted into a work station by the use of an engageable plane-attachment accessory. If free standing, the vertical support is attached to a stand base. An embodiment of the apparatus has a wire conduit that permits electrical and electronics wire protection and management.

Abstract: A removable headrest cover for a seat is described having improved features for securing and attaching the cover to a headrest. The improved features include integrated elastic elements that serve to secure the cover to a headrest, eliminating the need for engaging receptacles on the seat. The positioning and placement of attachment points for the elastic provide versatility to the headrest cover that allows it to be used with many different seat configurations. Methods for efficiently manufacturing and packaging the cover are also described.

Abstract: A towel securing apparatus is disclosed. The towel securing apparatus comprises a strip of material that is formed into a loop, and has a label attached to the loop. It is contemplated that the label may be used for advertising and various other types of promotional purposes (e.g. sports teams, etc. . . . ). It is also contemplated that the apparatus may be installed on a chair such that the label is oriented on the back side of the chair. Additional embodiments provide for various ways to attach an item to the apparatus. This serves to keep common items handy (e.g. sunglasses, camera, etc. . . . ) while at an outdoor venue, such as the beach, pool, on a boat, or at a concert, for example.

The playpen device includes a playpen back portion having a playpen back first side, a playpen back second side and a playpen back bottom side. The playpen base first side is connected with the playpen side bottom side of one of the two playpen side portions and the playpen base second side is connected with the playpen side bottom side of the other of the two playpen side portions. Also, the playpen base rear side is connected with the playpen back bottom side and the car seat playpen device is configurable between a first and second configuration.

At least one additional strap may also extend from a side, front or bottom portion of such rolling luggage to attach to a side, back or bottom portion of the child car seat. In such embodiment, the at least one additional strap facilitates additional stability of the child car seat as attached to the rolling luggage. Additionally, a flat fabric material or bag (34) may be provided at least partially over the back of the luggage and may be attached to one or more of the various straps.

Abstract: A method of making an armrest that is mountable between adjacent left and right passenger seats includes: separately forming two receptacle parts by molding a prepreg in a first mold assembly, the receptacle parts being adapted to hold personal objects and each having a looped wall surrounding a slot; forming an armrest frame by molding a prepreg in a second mold assembly, the armrest frame including a lower frame portion having a plurality of downwardly extending legs, and an upper frame portion disposed on top of and bridging the legs; and positioning the receptacle parts within the second mold assembly and combining the receptacle parts with the upper frame portion during the forming of the armrest frame in the second mold assembly, thereby providing a one-piece unitary structure having the receptacle parts and the armrest frame.

The adjustable tray may be easily mounted to an arm of a chair and provides width, length, rotation, and storage adjustments. The adjustable tray includes a platform that is pivotally connected to an armchair stop. The armchair stop may be supported by adjustable guides that may be secured to the chair arm by a compression element. The tray may include one or more rotatable joints to allow the platform or IO devices to be tilted to a comfortable working angle.

Abstract: A holder for personal effects in a vehicle comprising a base that fits around the support rods of a headrest, a mount that may adjustably connected to the base and designed to hold the strap or other hanging feature of one or more personal items, and at least one securement block that may be used to sure up the base, limit its ability to move laterally, or help it to support heavier items. The base may be detachable and reversible so that it can be used in combination with the headrest support rods of a seat on either side of the car and so that the arm can be positioned in a maximum number of variations for the convenience of the user. In some embodiments, one or more of the securement blocks is easily removable and re-attachable to the base to accommodate a large variety of headrest and support rod configurations.

The seat assembly includes a seat portion and a back portion that cooperate to provide a seat. At least one of the seat portion and the back portion includes a frame having a mounting bracket provided thereon and a cover having an opening. A closure structure is provided on the cover for selectively providing access though the opening formed through the cover to the mounting bracket. The closure structure may be embodied as any releasable closure structure, including a zipper, hook and loop material, snap fasteners, buttons, and the like.

Movement of the patient support independent or separately from the base and without interfering with the storage areas within the base may allow for the efficient use of the examination table as a storage area.

A handle is sized to loop around a vehicle seat headrest and suspend the pad to cover a substantial portion of the seat and backrest portions of the vehicle seat. The pad, handles, and the edge closure mechanism are arranged, with the edge closure mechanism engaged and with the pad in a single-fold configuration, to form a single-compartment bag with the pair of handles positioned next to one another. The pad, handles, and the surface closure mechanism are arranged, with the surface closure mechanism engaged and with the pad in a multiple-fold configuration, to form a dual-compartment bag with the pair of handles positioned next to one another.

Abstract: A portable stowable cargo restraining enclosure assembly for limiting movement of cargo combined with and affixed to a seat cushion. The portable cargo restraining enclosure assembly includes a plurality of sidewalls which are pivoted and/or folded into a collapsed or stowed condition attached to the underside of a seat cushion. During use, the enclosure assembly is pivoted up into and the sidewalls deployed to cooperatively form a walled enclosure for restraint of cargo. The seat cushion is preferably wedge shaped so that when used as a seat cushion, it provides orthopedic advantages. When used as a cargo restraining device, the wedge shape of the cushion helps make the base of the cargo restraining device parallel to the ground plane.

Abstract: A seat assembly for a motor vehicle includes a frame that is fixedly secured to the motor vehicle. A seat cushion is secured to the frame. The seat cushion defines a seat width. A seatback is secured to the frame and is pivotal with respect to the seat cushion. A loop fastener is fixedly secured to the frame and extends between the seat cushion and the seatback. The loop fastener selectively receives a child seat latch therethrough to secure a child seat to the seat assembly. The seat assembly also includes a removable bolster that is selectively securable to the loop fastener. The removable bolster covers the loop fastener when the child seat is removed from the seat assembly. Therefore, the occupants of the seat assembly will contact the removable bolster and be prevented from feeling the loop fastener when sitting on the seat assembly.

With a combined booster cushion and bag according to the present invention, the availability of the booster cushion is greatly increased, for example since the risk of leaving behind the booster cushion member is reduced. The safety dental chair includes an automatic external defibrillator and a CPR safety board removably coupled to the chair back portion adjacent its rear surface. A vitals monitor may also be coupled to the chair which includes a pulse oximetry finger clip, a blood pressure cuff, and at least one display. The vitals monitor includes programming for determining pulse oximetry using data received from the pulse oximetry finger clip, for determining blood pressure using data received from the blood pressure cuff, and for actuating the display to present the oximetry and blood pressure. The safety dental chair may include a headrest constructed of memory foam for supporting a patient's neck and the patient's airway open. The chair may be automated for adjusting its position.

Abstract: A portable apparatus for use as an armrest and for holding a beverage container. The apparatus comprises an elongated generally hollow member having each of a predetermined configuration a predetermined depth and formed of a predetermined material. A foam material is disposed within the elongated generally hollow member. At least one cup like member having an open end is disposed adjacent an upper surface of such elongated member and a closed end is disposed within such elongated member and surrounded by the foam material for use as a holder for a beverage container. There is a means for closing such elongated member after the foam material has been added and also a means for securing the cup like member to such elongated member.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in conjunction with feeding infants and toddlers. The apparatus is a two-part tool that combines a booster seat along with a spill-proof food tray that is removed and placed onto an adjacent table surface. The booster seat includes a small storage compartment that is located within the booster seat. The spill-proof food tray includes a separate cup holder area along with a catch-all tray that allows food to fall into it rather than onto a floor surface or onto an infant or toddler using the present invention.

Abstract: The vehicle seat cover is a flexible sheet for covering the rear seat, and the rear face of the front seat, of a vehicle when a load is stored in the rear seat. If the user is transporting an animal or refuse, for example, the vehicle seat cover protects the front and rear seats from damage. The vehicle seat cover includes a base sheet, a front sheet that is releasably secured to the base sheet, and a pair of side sheets, which are also releasably secured to the base sheet. Both the front sheet and the rear portion of the base sheet are provided with a plurality of straps and releasable connectors for, respectively, securing the front sheet to the front seat and the rear portion of the base sheet to the rear seat. When not in use, the front sheet and the pair of side sheets may be detached from the base sheet and the sheets may be folded, secured to one another and transported by the user.

Abstract: An improved foodstuffs container configured to be readily received with a cup holder having a relatively standard size recess such as that commonly provided in armrests of many theater chairs so as to hold the container while the patron is not eating or optionally, drinking from the cup is disclosed. The walled tray structure may be configured with a planar or other shaped bottom, with or without partitions to received the desired foodstuffs either in volume or in discretely separated portions. A suspension assembly is coupled to the upper portion of the support frame such that motion of the upper portion imparts motion to the suspension assembly. In another aspect of the invention, the invention includes a seat supported on a resilient support frame having a ground engaging portion and an upper portion moveable with respect to the ground engaging portion. A mobile is coupled to the upper portion such that motion of the upper portion imparts a corresponding motion to the mobile.
