Abstract: A combination toolbox and seating assembly is provided. The toolbox seating assembly is installed in the bed of a pickup truck, wherein the toolbox includes a hinged lid, and wherein a bench style seat may be stored the toolbox when not in use, and may be positioned within the upper portion of the toolbox when in use to provide comfortable rearward seating within the bed of the truck.

Abstract: A seat back assist system is disclosed which provides an assist when opening a vehicle split seat back from an upright position and a lift assist when returning the seat back to the upright position from a load floor (horizontal) position. The assist system allows the seat to pop off a latch when released and to fold down to the load floor position. It also provides a lift assist to the upright position.

Abstract: A furniture system has a frame portion that may be set in one configuration to operate as a chair and can be readily reconfigured into a table. A frame portion provides support for an operating surface. In the table configuration, the frame is positioned in a first orientation with a working surface supported by the top of the frame. To change the configuration, the working surface is temporarily removed and the frame turned on its side (i.e., rotated 90°) such that a portion of the frame that was previously a leg now becomes part of the frame on the floor while a portion of the frame that was previously on the floor now becomes legs for a chair configuration. Following rotation of the frame, the working surface is reinstalled in a new orientation to complete the change and configuration.

Abstract: Apparatus for dispensing shampoos in cooperation with a counter-top sink has a chair seat, with legs hingedly attached for movement between a first extended, seat supporting position and a second, folded position for portability; a seat back hingedly attached to the chair seat for movement between an erect position and a folded, portable position, a bowl assembly with a drain adapted for being located over the counter-top sink and at least two extensible support members attached to the bowl at the underside thereof, for movement between a first, bowl supporting position and a second, portable position.

Abstract: A variable height chair provides variable seat height measurements from the floor to the planar surface of the seat. The seat planar surfaces consist of seat panels forming a polygonal core and are supported at each end by two end frame panels. The central axis of the core is offset from the respective centers of the two end frame panels. The end frame panels have a number of identical dimensioned edges placed substantially parallel and apart from each other. The variation in height is achieved by the asymmetrical or offset location of the axis of the polygonal core. Through successive rotation forward or backward, different heights emerge for each planar seat surface. These different heights of the seat planar surfaces provide selectively different heights for persons of varied statures within the same age bracket and in different age brackets.

Abstract: Convertible furniture for children for use in different configurations as either a table or child's seat. The furniture comprises a base, vertical supports, and a removable top. The top includes a rotating fabric sling seat for very young children. With the top removed, the furniture may be inverted for use as a play table. Rockers, rocker locks and means to prevent seat rotation are also disclosed. The vertical supports are telescopically extendable to adjust the height of the furniture.

Abstract: A multi-way portable writing desk is formed of a unitary structure of generally U-shaped configuration consisting of a flat rectangular base panel for placement horizontally between the legs of the user and partially underlying the same or, horizontally beneath one leg of the user and to the side thereof, a right angle vertical riser panel having a lower end joined to one end of the base panel and extending vertically upward at right angles thereto and a lap panel integral with the upper end of the riser panel and extending parallel to the base panel, to the same side of the riser panel and overlying the base panel and being spaced from the base panel a distance capable of accommodating a leg or legs of the user whether the user straddles the vertical riser panel or the riser panel extends vertically upwardly along the outside of one of the legs of the user and the lap panel extends horizontally across the leg and overlies the lap of the user.
