Abstract: The baby seating device contains a seat member, a base member having U-shaped front and rear legs, and two connection members that are arranged between the front and rear legs. An end of each connection member is pin-joined to a sleeve member that could be slid up and down along an arm of the rear leg. The sleeve member has a pin for locking into one of a number of positioning holes along the arms of the rear leg. The baby seating device could be folded or unfolded by sliding the sleeve members to an upper or middle section of the rear leg. The baby seating device could become a rocking chair by sliding the sleeve member to a bottom section of the rear leg so that a curved body of the connection members touches the ground.
Abstract: A furniture mechanism includes first and second side plates. First and second support members are rotatably pinned to the side plates. First and second pantograph linkage sets are each linked to one of the side plates and each extend from a stowed position to a fully extended position and support a user leg rest. A base frame includes first and second side channels. A U-shaped leaf spring interconnected to the first and second side channels and connected to the support members permits co-rotation of at least the connection plates, the pantograph linkage sets, and the support members with respect to the base frame. First and second tilt cams are rotatably fastened to the support members. The tilt cams each include multiple cam faces which define a plurality of temporary detent positions of the mechanism by contact of individual cam faces with the side channels.
Abstract: A portable furniture assembly has a pair of opposed and spaced apart scissor assemblies. A stop mechanism is provided to retain a pair of scissor structures of the portable furniture assembly in a set-up condition and yet permit easy release of the stop mechanism to permit folding of the furniture assembly for transport. A foldable and portable chair has a flexible sling suspended between two scissor assemblies to define a seat and a back for the chair. The portable chair also has two bottom rails connected to front supports of the scissor assemblies via pivots. Rear supports of the scissor assemblies are removably connected to the bottom rails at the stop mechanism to retain the portable chair in a set-up condition and yet permit the chair to be folded to a completely flat or folded condition.
