Abstract: A child seat comprising: an outer shell supporting an inner shell therein, the inner shell and the outer shell together defining a child protection region within the seat; an adjustment mechanism disposed between the inner shell and the outer shell defining a trajectory of movement for the inner shell relative to the outer shell, wherein relative movement between the inner shell and the outer shell along the trajectory of movement adjusts a size and a shape of the child protection region of the seat.

Abstract: A device and method for preventing and correcting abnormal shaping of an infant's cranium by applying external forces over time with the growth of an infant to achieve normal shaping of the infant's head. The device is a cranial orthosis having a depression with a contact surface in the shape of at least a portion of a normal infantile cranium. The orthosis further provides lateral support surfaces creating points of contact to restrict rotation of the infant's cranium and provide additional external forces for normal shaping of the infant's cranium. Because the present invention is non-conforming to the shape of an abnormal skull, the exerted forces cause accelerated expansion of the skull in less prominent areas coincident with brain and skull growth.

Abstract: A multipurpose infant travel blanket and manufacturing method are disclosed. A material is folded such that a first edge and a second edge, opposite the first edge, of the material meet. A zipper, when closed, holds together a part of the first edge and a corresponding part of the second edge. A first seam joins remaining parts of the first and second edges and a second seam is formed along a bottom edge of the material to form a pocket for protecting an infant. Loops are attached to an inner surface of the material, between the edges and folds, and are capable of securing the multipurpose infant travel blanket to an infant travel device. One or more cinch mechanisms formed on the outer surface of the material may be used to resize the pocket.

Abstract: An integral head sling support apparatus and system for a person for use primarily during travel, comprising a head band or piece adapted to fit around the forehead of the person and a harness extending from the headband assembly to a sling assembly adapted to receive the person's arms. The integral head sling support further comprises a headrest assembly of a neck pillow and guide for one or more straps configured to utilize the weight of the persons arms in the sling assembly to pull rearward the person's head and anchor while supporting the person's head so that the person can sleep in an upright seated position. The seat guard has compressed perforations on the lower back portion to adhere and conform to various infant seats. Compressed perforations are located on the bottom seat portion to allow for complete access to the harness latch.
