Abstract: A massage machine that can stably rock a chair main body in a forward-backward direction and that has minimal overall height comprising a chair main body, a base which supports the chair main body, massage portions provided in the chair main body, and a rocking mechanism portion which rocks the chair main body in the forward-backward direction with respect to the base. The rocking mechanism portion includes link members, each of which has a lower portion pivotally supported by the base and an upper portion pivotally supporting the chair main body. The chair main body is rocked in the forward-backward direction by rocking the upper portions of the link members in the forward-backward direction.

Abstract: A lounge has a foot-operated mechanism for propelling the lounge with a rocking motion. The lounge has a frame with at least one arcuate runner contacting the floor. A user-supporting surface is attached to the frame with portions of the surface adapted to support different body regions of the user, particular the body regions proximate to the user's knees, neck and buttocks. The user-supporting surface may be configured so that the user's buttocks are at a lower elevation than the user's knees and neck. A foot pedal is connected by a linkage assembly to an actuating member that contacts the ground. By pushing against the pedal, the user can impart a rocking motion to the lounge. The lounge may be folded along portions of the frame for compact, convenient storage.

Abstract: A rocking, reclining, foldable chair is disclosed. The invention comprises a curved rocker or rockers having a limiting extension; a leg or legs pivotally attached to said rocker; a seat pivotally attached to said leg or legs; a releasable support pivotally attached to any two of the aforesaid parts to prevent said chair from folding unexpectedly; a back pivotally attached to said seat or leg or legs; a pair of arms movably connected to said back; and a leg rest pivotally attached to said seat and said arms, said leg rest being movable between a rocking and a reclining position; and moving means for moving said leg rest, said back and said seat between said rocking and said reclining position.

Abstract: A multi-postion chair. The chair includes a base that has a seat and a seatback attached thereto. The seatback may be reclined relative to the base in a plurality of positions. An arcuate foot rest is pivotally attached to the base such that it may be pivoted under the base to enable the chair to be rocked thereon. In the alternative, the footrest may be extended relative to the base to provide a footrest for the occupant. A storage well may be provided in the base and the seat may be pivotally attached to the base such that it overlies the storage well. The chair may have pivotable armrests attached to the base and an adjustable headrest attached to the seatback.
