Abstract: A base defines a pair of horizontally spaced apart front and rear anchor points and a pair of front and rear elongated, upstanding and upwardly divergent support links and have the upper ends thereof pivotally anchored to the front and rear anchor points for oscillation about first parallel axes extending transversely of the links. A support member, including a pair of horizontally spaced apart front and rear anchor locations, is also provided and the lower ends of the front and rear links are pivotally anchored to the front and rear anchor locations for oscillation about second axes paralleling the first axes. A seat structure is supported from the support member in elevated position relative to the latter and the first parallel axes.

Abstract: A hanging chair for use in conjunction with an overhead support wherein the chair includes at least one flexible seat having a substantially trapezoidal configuration with the shorter parallel side forming the back portion of the chair, the longer parallel side forming the front portion of the chair and the two non-parallel sides forming the side portions of the chair. Frame members maintain the side portions of the chair in a stretched condition so that an occupant may easily enter and leave the chair from the front portion thereof.

Abstract: A prefabricated glider assembled from sub-assemblies by means of a set of uniformly sized bolts. The seat section is supported between a pair of rectilinear frame members which in turn are pivotally suspended respectively from the outer portion of a pair of base members. The entire assembly is made of wood and the stock which is used to form the rectilinear frame members and the base members are uniformly sized.
